To confuse matters, there's also steps and stairs taking you here, there and everywhere! I much prefer Bentalls but I can say, Fenwicks does have a range of good name concession stands (which follow with the price tag), a make-up floor, some cute bits and pieces of stationary and randomly, some food joints which includes a sushi joint that kind of smells up the place. The layout is pretty confusing so I haven't ventured in too many times. There's wifi in here but you have to sign-up and it takes a while to be connected... The Christmas window this past year was pretty cool though (not sure if it was worth the queues or the aggressive shoving!) The building front from Northumberland street is a looker, if nothing else, Fenwicks can offer a visually pleasing building to admire.

It has in it's favour some lovely homeware and a brilliant cookshop.I was totally unimpressed by the clothing range though,although there was a good range of shoes. The store is supposed to be a discount one but I did'nt think the goods were that much of a bargain.I've often got the same thing cheaper elsewhere. It's got a good sized cafe if you fancy a break and there is a huge car park too. I won't be rushing back to shop here,there's plenty other places much better to go to.

Saw these beautiful dip dyed glasses that where blue-I was good and only picked up one :). If the kids are at school I sometimes take a trip to the upstairs where there's a cafe. There lovely cakes, food, tea, coffee, it's wonderful and I always have a pleasant experience there. The groceries are lovely. They have home brands and proper brands. I love the sainsburys finest, it is posh yet affordable and lovely. My husband seems to love Sainsburys basics- the cover is boring I guess, but they are so cheap and delicious! Example; pack of choc chip cookies- 40p! Kids got homework...no nightmares anymore! My eldest daughter (11) has started high and she has to do a lot of craft work, so I can just stop buy and get paints and card. Also my two kids (5&7) loved it when I come back with an art project like a wooden dinosaur set ( they sell them for only £2, my kids loved it!) ive bought storage boxes, candles, my house is slowly getting better day by day...

It has pretty much most of what you'd expect to find from Marks and Spencer. The facilities inside the store are good and include a cafe, an optician and toilets. The Deli section did seem to be good, including freshly prepared salads, wraps and meals, but it did seem to be a little depleted later into the day. The store did appear to be a little understaffed, again this could have been due to it being the late afternoon, but it still was moderately busy on a Saturday. 4* - A nice store and a welcome addition to the shopping centre, the fact it is located right by the car park is handy too, to avoid carrying shopping around the mall.

The store itself has a wide range of good quality men, women and children's clothing at affordable prices. They don't do maternity clothing. It also does home furnishings and furniture as well as household goods and some toys and gift ranges for Christmas time. It can be tricking finding a member of staff to ask about items/sizes/where to find stuff but they are helpful when located. It's a very busy, well used store.

Last time I was in they had lots of reduced home lighting and also discounted wallpapers, some of which I have seen in diy shops for nearly double the price for exactly the same wallpaper! They also have some good offers on food and they now sell a lot of chilled things with are better value than the supermarkets. Wilkinsons definitely get my approval for being top quality at low prices. Their refund and returns policy is also very fair compared to some other shops.

The stock it sells is your typical Marks and Spencer stuff that I find is way over priced and about the same quality as Asda's extra special range. The shop itself is quite busy and nearly always full of middle aged people and older people. As I have mentioned I find the prices of items to be rather high and you do not get value for money, and the staff are very helpful and also like to have a chat with the customers which is a plus for the store.

We managed to bag the last little corner table and waited for our hot drinks and food to arrive. We both opted for a beans and cheese jacket potato and I ordered a pot of tea (how much more english can you get?!) It arrived swiftly with the food shortly after. The jacket was nice and fluffy however I could have done with a ore crispy skin. Having said that the whole dish was cleanly served with nice little pots for the beans and even came with a side salad and a tasty salad dressing! The escalator system is designed so that when you go up, you end up on the opposite side of the floor to the cafe, so you have to walk through all the pretty things to get there. And then to get down, the other escalator brings you right into the food hall. On the other hand, you could just duck into the lift but it is all the way at the back of the shop so you will have to go through everything anyway. Apart from the signage issues, the compactness and the escalator issue, this store is a good place to shop. All I ask is that they point a sign to the cafe from the up escalator.

I always think the outside of it looks a little tatty and tired Like the signs need updating or something, the windows washed. Can't quite put my finger on it, but it seems to have lost its spark in recent years. At one time it was the place to get cheap household stuff such as branded paint, wall coverings, plumbing items, etc etc. Nowadays it has a lot more competition as all of the shops are in a bit of a pricing war! Its competitors have caught up with it in terms of value for money. Nevertheless Wilkos is still good for discounted food items. Its DIY items are also reasonably price, though probably the same prices as many other high street stores nowadays.

Everything is quite cheap, and you can sometimes get cheap tat but also find some good labels in there too! It has 3 floors and each floor has something different to offer. It even has a cafe which I believe is only really used by pensioners.
