It was very interesting to meet some of the artists and see the work that won in their categories. It was also nice to see the camaraderie between the artists since the place really keeps to its "small town" roots and everyone was really familiar with each other and their works. They also offer classes and workshops along with studio space rental for artists and members. My one gripe is the lack of parking. There is a gravel lot out back, but if there is a first Friday or gallery opening, it's hard to find a space. The building they are in is very cool (renovated warehouse) and is right off the street - unfortunately the parking is meant for warehouse parking so they may remedy this in the future as they grow.

The Groupon did not include having your creations fired although we were told we could come back and paint them in their studio after they dried. This isn't an experience I'd recommend. If anything, going to paint their already made pottery could be a more enjoyable option.

This Biggie Brunch was a whole Vibe…read more I loved the atmosphere of hip hop, grown folk, culture and good food. This looked to be the first time this event was held and I enjoyed it. For about $50 your ticket included entry, brunch, and a free t-shirt of your choice. The DJ was spinning some good ole hip hop with tributes to rhe late Great Notorious B.I.G. The brunch was served "cafeteria style" where you kinda grab and go and drinks were available. I got a black on black t-shirt that came out pretty dope and I'll be checking them out again for sure.
