A Hidden Gem & Truly an Experience!…read more If you're looking for more than just a coffee shop, Ebony Experience is exactly what the name says--an experience. It was easy to find, and from the moment I walked in, I loved the atmosphere. You first enter a cozy bookstore filled with so many incredible books. If you're a reader, you'll be in heaven! I ended up buying two books, and I love that you can also swap books. It's such a unique concept. Then you walk through another door, and it's like stepping into a completely different space--a beautifully decorated pink tea and coffee lounge that's warm, inviting, and perfect for relaxing. There are plenty of places to sit, whether you're meeting friends, enjoying a solo date, or catching up with someone special. I had the Cookie Butter Latte, and all I can say is... chef's kiss! It was absolutely delicious and one of the best specialty lattes I've had. I'll definitely be ordering it again. One of my favorite parts of my visit was meeting the owner. She was so welcoming and genuine, and you can tell she's passionate about creating a space that brings people together. Behind the café is also a charming outdoor area featuring artwork and gathering space, and they host events throughout the month, so it's worth checking their calendar to see what's coming up. As a Black-owned business, I love supporting spaces like this that intentionally build community while offering such a unique experience. Whether you're planning a girls' outing, a solo coffee date, or a cozy date with your significant other, Ebony Experience is absolutely worth the visit. 10/10--highly recommend! I'll definitely be back.

This festival just continues to grow each year! I genuinely love checking out Festival in the Park…read moreevery single year, because there's always something new to see. There's probably hundreds of vendors at this point, from food, drinks, desserts, artists, charities, jewelry. I mean there's SO much to see at this festival! My favorite part about it is the live music. My friends and I always bring a blanket and just come lay out there and enjoy the live band. This year it was actually the same singer as last year and she was great!!! Love her voice and she always sings upbeat songs everyone knows. It's always a whole vibe. We grab food and bring our own cooler and just pick a spot up on the hill and enjoy. That's exactly what we did this year too. For food I couldn't decide what I wanted so I kinda settled for a gyro and it was pretty good, all things considered. The fries we great though! Nice to have so many food options available though. I'll continue to come to this festival year after year!! Definitely a lifetime fan.

I stopped by a cookie vendor, deliciousness! However, the food lines are typically ridiculously long. Not my speed. There should be a vendor who sells water only for one price. Parking is a task and requires a lot of patience. It may help to catch a ride and skip parking altogether.

I purchased a very expensive painting from them and l still haven't received it due to their inexperience! Firstly, their very young employee Emma took it upon herself to send the painting via UPS Saturday delivery! She never once asked me if this was okay and the shipping fees were absolutely astronomical! I use a business address for shipping and Saturday delivery isn't even possible! ALWAYS CHECK WITH THE CUSTOMER FIRST BEFORE MAKING SUCH BIG DECISIONS! I requested a refund for the shipping charges, but Emma refused! Young Emma kept promising me that she had followed up with UPS to reschedule delivery, but sadly, l had to keep following up with her as she never followed up with me directly! I kept tracking the package and there were even more hiccups! The package was never placed on the delivery truck for the supposed rescheduled delivery of yesterday. Today l wait and wait, At 4:37 p.m. l tracked the package again only to find that the wrong address is on the shipping label! Where is my painting? I will never know and will file a dispute with my cc company. Just a warning to please avoid SOCO at all costs for anything of value!

I thought the art was really interesting and some of the pieces I would actually put in my home. Not all of them, but there were some nice ones. It's a lovely space and they have good art.
