Try it with 4 months left, still perfect. 1 month of working out later with 3 months left to the wedding, I gained muscle, the dress didn't fit anymore and I was panicking. Linda came up with many options on how to make this work. She also engrained in me the most important part about dress shopping for the wedding: "the dress fits to you, not you fitting into the dress" and it changed the way I looked at the process. She made me feel positive about my body and feeling good for the wedding. I got my Chinese tea ceremony dress with 2 months to go as well. It needed minor tailoring in the sleeves and to be taken in. Linda also took this on in addition to the white wedding gown. Everything was perfect. Linda even took time in the last appointment to ensure my sister knew how to tie up the dress and latch the bustle. I'm a first generation Asian American and don't know much about western / American wedding culture and traditions. Linda made sure she educated me and I trusted her all the way. She was absolutely worth driving from Hartford to Bridgeport all of the weeks for fittings, and was even flexible when one appointment I had a family emergency and she was able to make it all work. As I got to know Linda more, I learned she's studied fashion design and has a degree in it, she's got 35+ years of experience, and has even made wedding gowns from scratch if you give her enough time.
