I have known Mary Deggelman since 2007 and I can't say enough nice things about her. I went to…read moreschool with her, and she is a phenomenal therapist. I appreciate her therapeutic orientation. She is a very skilled therapist if you need someone who is holistic. She is one of the healthiest people I know, body and mind. If you seek someone who can support you in a period of transition, growth, mourning, grief, or stagnation, she is the ideal therapist. I often recommend patients to her because I trust her judgment and theoretical orientation.

Her style of therapy was captivating to all of us and exactly what we needed. The fact that you don't sit in an office for the entire session but rather take a walk together in the fresh air really allowed us to open up. I first started seeing Mary when my daughter was in the third grade. I was searching for tools to help in our mother/daughter communication challenges. Not only did Mary provide a sense of comfort to me, but also to my daughter. It was awesome showing my daughter that I am willing to do anything to make sure our relationship stronger than ever because a mother/daughter bond is so important. Mary really helped my daughter develop ways to communicate to us and provided her a safe outlet. Throughout these sessions, Mary helped identify issues that I suppressed for years and were just surfacing when I became a parent. She identified underlying topics, helped me cope with them, and then provided tools to overcome them! She not only help me with ways to open up and heal myself but also is making me a better mom, wife, daughter, sister, and friend. My family saw such a difference in me, that they were open to the idea of therapy and had full trust in Mary. I have seen Mary for personal, couple, and family therapy! Walking and talking was the perfect therapy. When you are walking you are just talking to "as trusted person" and opening up about various topics. These tools are life strategies you take with you long after your sessions with Mary. If you are looking for someone to talk to for your self, your children, your spouse, or all of the above, I would highly recommend Mary. My entire family would say the same!!!

Is this who you would want to show you the way to a loving, forgiving, understanding, way of patience, communication and love? He discusses his other patients BY NAME as examples and similarities to your circumstances. He even points out where they sit, and their disorder. Do not under any circumstances seek medical help from him. You would get better treatment from a fortune cookie. He is unethical, manipulative, and broke every law I know of in regard to confidentiality and his position as a therapist. Everyone I know who sought his "Aye Em" "Cough cough..." Professional advice (what a joke) is now divorced. If he suggests talking to a psychic... This should be a clue to you to run... run fast... run swift. His (quote...unquote) "Psychic" recommendation is actually his boss. The information discussed in your therapy will be communicated over to the Psychic. In turn the psychic will "See" your future. HA! what kind of medical therapy is this? I know all of this first hand. This is how my ex-wife was treated for her condition. He was her personal therapist as well as our marriage counselor. Highly unethical based on my conversations with professional Psychiatrist who are my friends. So this is not slander but first hand information.

This company came highly recommended to me after I spoke at a local high school in Oakland. The principal there shared with me how Honor Your Emotions had participated in a few school counseling sessions. I LOVE companies that give back! Long story short, Tangia (and her team) has been beyond outstanding in helping me tackle my past hang-ups. They have practical guides that help you tackle things one step at a time. Everything is personalized to your situation, and sometimes we all need to work with someone to help us break unseen behaviors or tackle things we sweep under the rug. Positive experience overall.

I've had to chase up repeatedly since prior to her departure to secure a replacement therapist and appointment schedule arranged. unfortunately they have not provided any of the requested information to me, to learn about the skills of the replacement therapists- to help make a choice over which therapist to choose based on their interests and expertise. so I wound up with someone who's credentials I don't know about, simply because it's the preferred time of day- and I was not provided with anything other than their names to make a choice over who is better suited to my kid's needs. The irony of their recent URGENT text messages were the only thing the admin staff persisted about in months- bc they wanted my payment information; & since then zero communication, which is frankly rude and unacceptable. I have asked for the name of someone to complain to- also NOT provided. So now I will- unfortunately- need to begin a much needed and awaited new therapeutic relationship on a sour point- complaining at the first appointment on Tuesday- which is sad and sets the wrong tone entirely. I hope it's been worth the wait and the therapy/therapist isn't mismatched and a waste of everyone's time!
