She continually saw the best in me even while holding me in the darkest places, knew my strengths even when I felt weak, called me in when I needed it and helped me find and stay on the path to my highest good. She's an excellent, skilled practitioner to be sure. Her somatic and trauma-informed toolkit brings about meaningful and lasting change. Yet it's her heart and loving, steady presence that I'm most grateful for. Dear Yelp World,…read more Mey is not my first go-around with therapists and I had a reasonable foundation for processing trauma before visiting her - so my expectations were fairly specific. If you are looking for a therapist who doesn't just talk about healing but actually helps your brain and body rewire itself, look no further. Working with Mey has been a transformative experience. She understands that's therapy is not magic. It is hard work. Some days I leave feeling lighter/clearer; other days I leave feeling as though I've spent three rounds at war with my past. The difference is that, over time, I realized I was no longer fighting alone and finally had someone in my corner who would help clear the illusions and understand the truth, and simultaneously, heal. My childhood was a collection of nightmares in a haunted house on "Kildare Lane." No Joke. How fortunate I was to find Mey, who offered to guide me through it all and help me unite with my inner child. Next, I've lived for years with my nervous system stuck in in survival mode - fight/flight/freeze. Mey's expertise in modalities like EMDR, LENS and Lifespan Integration has completely changed the game for me. Mey has a great balance of scientific knowledge, intuition, combined with an ability to provide real compassion to every session. I feel heard, supported, and most importantly, I feel safe expressing things I would otherwise keep secret as much of the trauma I experienced is rather inhumane and overwhelming. There's is no judgement or embarrassment attached to putting my suffering into words. Many therapists are highly good and capable of working within clinical frameworks. But it takes something more to become a true healer - it takes someone who understands that the wounds of childhood can linger across a lifetime, combined with a deep understanding that the human condition can sometimes be a catastrophe. Mey gets it. After one year, what has become very clear to me, is that there were many sessions I walked in convinced I had everything figured out, only to leave realizing I'd been believing an engineered story of false truths and confidence, not competence - for half a century. The changes over the past year have been profound. I think more clearly. I react with greater intention; my blood pressure has decreased along with my chronic neck pain. Who knew? In fact, I have explored the idea of inviting conflict and disagreement into my life just so I can appreciate how well I cope with it. If you do the work, show up honestly, expose yourself, and are willing to face the difficult places most people spend their lives avoiding, May will dive right into the shadow darkness and guide you to something irreplaceable - peace. Then she will reward you with something truly special - her smile. It is something to behold. Just notice....

Ordinarily I am able to pull myself out but this time I just couldn't seem to regain my peace and find my self respect on my own and I thought of Jill. She is by far one of the most encouraging and inspiring teachers I have ever known and she really came through for me. In less than an hour she guided me back to my center. A week later I was so happy that I was still in peace regardless of circumstances that I wrote her an email acknowledging her loving support. This is what I wrote: It's only been a week but I am still living in the peace that conversation with you brought to me. I just want to thank you again, and in writing, for your instant, loving response to my call for help. You really helped me to shift spaces. In particular you were firm in reminding me of my identity as a light worker not the powerless victim I was stuck thinking about. I think about you and what you shared with me every day, several times a day, and it helps me remember how truly blessed I am to have people like you and your family in my life. Go Light Workers! So, once again, thank you, sister. I am not cowering in fear but smiling in the light. Have a really good weekend! As much as I resonate with the infinite wisdom of Esther Hicks and her wonderful, uplifting work…read morewith Abraham, I have found it challenging to personally implement their teachings in my human life. That's where Jill Lebeau, spiritual psychotherapist comes in! When I first read her book, Feng Shui Your Mind: Four Easy Steps to Rapidly Transform Your Life, I recognized immediately that it was the "user's guide" needed for the practical application of infinite wisdom to actual real life situations. My personal therapy sessions with Jill have lead to what she likes to call rapid transformation, but I like to call it Powerful Alchemy! She helped me change my thinking around some key challenges in my life that were holding me back from the kind of Soul growth I was longing to experience. I was shocked how easily my vibration shifted as we casually chatted in her office and suddenly I was deeply appreciating something that had felt like a major stumbling block to me. When I attended one of Jill's events, a Sacred Gathering for Awakening Souls, the gathering felt like a great remembering, as if I were waking from amnesia.  When I signed up for the session, I wasn't even sure exactly what was bothering me, but I knew that I didn't feel as happy as I used to, and I knew that Jill's wonderful, uplifting, cheerful energy would provide a boost to my positivity powers.  I was absolutely right! I had been living in darkness and Jill reminded me how to relight the fire in my Soul! She reminded me that self-love is the foundation of happiness, and that at the core of my being, there is Divine love, and light and joy. Thank you Jill, for reminding me how awesome I am! And as wonderful as all of that sounds, I was truly blown away when I discovered Jill's online Feng Shui Your Mind course last month! https://www.udemy.com/feng-shui-your-mind-body-spirit This WONDERFUL, inspiring class takes practical application of Divine wisdom to the next level. Jill, and co-creator Michelle Dwyer, have designed a beautiful gift for awakening souls that enhances our journey and very much fills the role of "midwife" as we labor to give birth to our true selves; fully connected to Divine Spirit. The class breaks down Jill's "Four Easy Steps" into smaller bites that are delicious to savor. The recordings are uplifting and easy to follow. It inspires me when they share examples of overcoming their own challenges. I find it tremendously helpful that Michelle Dwyer is a health coach and nutrition consultant, so lots of the examples throughout the recordings and activities address one of my personal issues; choosing nourishing foods over comfort foods. The "playbook" (not 'workbook') is full of fun and easy "Feng Shui Fixes" that I explore in depth for as long as I like before moving on to the next recording and more fun, easy ways to play myself into higher vibrations! I have rapidly learned how to increase my personal energy instead of depleting it with cluttered, miserable thoughts. I have found new enthusiasm for my personal eating plan simply because I stopped thinking of it as "restricted and deprived and lacking" and decided that it is a sacred commitment to my self-love that I deserve. I was feeling powerless in so many little ways and now I feel empowered and far more confident than I did just two weeks ago. I didn't even realize that my spirit was feeling like a dried up old raisin, and now it feels like a big juicy mango! Jill is an astounding resource for anyone that wants to live life in a more fulfilling way. I highly recommend all of her services with enthusiasm!

We were sad not to be able to have her attend our second home birth because our first experience was excellent. Pre-natal visits were however long they needed to be. Very thorough and plenty of time to build trust and rapport. She was accepting of our conservative choices and supported us through some challenging times. The birth was great, she allowed us to birth according to what felt right and was there for support-not interference. She took care of the heel prick (for our second birth we had to go to a dirty hospital lab at 2 days old), encapsulated and delivered the placenta to our home (had to hire an additional provider the second time), and supported us when we moved another 20 miles away from her. When we had the tough decision of whether or not to take our baby to the hospital after the birth (heavy breathing) she supported us in our unique point of view while making sure we had all the facts and knew the risks (we wanted a pre-natal chiropractor to see the baby first). In the end, baby normalized, we stayed home and took the baby to a ped. to be checked the next day. We really enjoyed our time with Kirsten and highly recommend her services. It has only taken me 4 years to write this review but we have thought of her often :)

The Family Constellation process involves one "focus client" and other "helper clients." I was supposed to be the focus client. During our 60-minute private consultation intended to review my family dynamics, Kirstin spent 45 minutes talking about herself. I could hardly get a word in. When she finally asked about my background, it felt rushed, and I sensed she wasn't truly listening but was instead fishing for "juicy details" for promotional purposes. A few weeks later, without my consent or knowledge, Kirstin sent out an email with a public Evite link. The title of this Evite directly referenced a private and traumatic event I had shared with her in confidence. When I contacted her expressing discomfort with using my private details as advertising, she did not even offer to remove the information or change the Evite. Instead, she defensively stated said She felt that my trauma (which she used for the text of the Evite) was "unifying" for others and that she had already attracted more clients with this label. Due to Kirstin Soares's Violation of Consent, Confidentiality, and Gaslighting behavior, I cannot recommend her service. With these issues, I can only give a 1-star rating.

I was 35, my life was a wreck, and I had never experienced any kind of therapy because I was highly suspicious and distrusting of "shrinks". Nevertheless, in early 2005 I decided to start the CfCG 20-week Group Intensive Program (overseen by Daniel Lesny) and it was a decision that most likely saved my life. The program was cathartic, healing, and remarkably educational. It not only gave me a much deeper insight into my own personal psychology but also a tremendous understanding of human behaviors and motivations in general. Back then I could hardly afford to pay the modest cost of this program yet in retrospect it was the wisest investment I ever made. The fact that the CfCG staff were flexible and helped me figure out a payment plan I could manage was not only an act of incredible benevolence but also demonstrated their own certainty that they could help me fix what was going wrong. When Daniel interviewed me he was completely honest and told me their program could not fix _everything_ wrong with my life in just 6 months and I would likely find that I would want to continue the therapy process on my own after the program was complete. But he assured me that I would undergo a major transformation in that 6 months and I would leave as a much happier and emotionally healthy person. He was absolutely right! The 20 week program required participating in some very difficult work during one of the roughest periods of my life as I was dredging up a lot of ugly memories that I had not successfully dealt with in 20 years or more. But by the time I completed the program I was much better equipped to stop my self destructive lifestyle and co-dependent relationships. I had finally reconciled my feelings and beliefs about events in my childhood which had helped to steer me down some dark roads as an adult. Once my past was truly left behind me my future became brighter than ever. I was soon inspired to make a bold career change which has paid off in many ways I never even imagined. I have gained greater control over my life and far better skills for setting boundaries and avoiding cycles of co-dependency and pointless negativity from others. I will forever be indebted to the good people at The Center for Creative Growth. A 5 star rating just doesn't do them proper justice.

She gave me teaching methods to help calm my self down if I'm alone. I wish I could keep seeing her, but in 2020 I think it was $210 for a 50 minute session. That's over $11,00/Year.
