After the apartment complex I was moving to said I couldn't use PODS, I had to get a backup plan…read more I did reviews on local movers and found TopDogg. Their reviews were great and the quote he gave me was less than PODS! John and his team moved me from Mount Washington KY to Stow OH. I needed to do a pickup on one day and delivery the next day, due to the time it took us to get to the drop off location and having to get keys from landlord. They totally made that happen. John Cotton stayed in communication with me on the pickup date after one of their trucks broke down. My Movers were Will and Jonathan and they were amazing! They were able to get the backup truck to me in a few hours. They loaded me up (2 BR House) in 2 hours. They met me the next day in OH at the designated time. They unloaded for me so fast! They even put together an entertainment center for me (I tipped them for that). I would absolutely recommend TopDogg Moving to anyone and use them again.

When I got the rug back it stunk. It stinks so bad that I'm am embarrassed to have people over. I myself don't even like coming home now because the smell is so bad. Especially after I paid $250+. I figured for that price, the whole rug would have been submerged and cleansed. I also got add on services like pet smell removal. I don't think that happened. Rug still looks very dirty and when I got it back it was full of dust. Calling it a loss and probably going to give it away to goodwill. I feel bad for leaving this review but now I'm out of money and a rug.

First of all, if you've never looked for a "local mover", finding a good one is like walking…read morethrough a mine field. My daughter recently moved her furniture to a storage unit after selling her house and looking to buy a new one. Since she is single, and I'm retired, she enlisted my help getting moved. I was the primary contact for all moving issues. We used a different company (not Clean Slate) to move from her old house TO the storage unit. They were "decent" but I felt a little used and abused by their add on charges after the fact. I started looking for a different mover when it was time to move from the storage unit to the new home. All communications were via text. Clean Slate did meet another movers price and since they had so many 5 star reviews, I decided to go with them. There was one problem, they showed up an hour late. I considered giving them 4 stars due to showing up late, but that issue was offset by the quality of the two young men that did our move. Both guys were respectful and took good care of our possessions. They worked non stop for 4 hours. They even let this old man talk their ears off! I wouldn't hesitate to call them again.

And she said "I wouldn't get something dry cleaned if I couldn't afford to pay for it". I paid for it and left. Extremely rude and basically called me poor because i didn't want to pay a price different than what I was told I'd be paying.
