Out of all the motorcycle repair shops I try to find out here in New Jersey this is the spot to go to. Every problem I had they fixed it like it was nothing. They really get the job done . When you call they pick up in 2-3 rings. I never had one issue here. This is the ONLY place I will take my bike to. I highly recommend this place!

Owner and mechanic of Bike Boys, Alex Borghi worked on my Harley Davidson. The service was good for two weeks, and we had a written and verbal agreement to pay in installments and that was agreed upon by both parties. Service has been paid $300/$700, until I had a small accident after using my rear brakes to shift down and stop at a red light. The rear wheel locked while in motion. After close examination the brake pad he replaced is nonexistent, and the piston went through the rotor. After a simple brake service in addition to other services done, I will now have to replace the brake caliper, the piston, rotor, and new brake pad, I will now be spending double to repair the bike after his damages. Mechanic Alex has since blocked my number and ghosted me after agreeing to fix the issue he caused. I will be pursuing this issue to the highest extent of the law. Thankfully I am not dead. He has zero organization and poor communication. The issue has since been professionally diagnosed and not based on assumption! Harley compatible parts were not used for the brake servicing! Also not disclosed was the ongoing issue Alex had while doing my rear brakes, to the point that diagrams had to be looked up to determine whether or not he was correct! Not only was the tone and choice of words on the phone call I had to make from a separate number despicable but extremely rude to a customer and friend he had a personal friendship with. The issue after being professionally diagnosed was deemed not a user error but a mechanical error. Mr. Borghi since has still not returned any call or message and since deemed he is not responsible for the work done when clearly he was the only person to touch my brakes. There should be no surprise after reading this review as this will remain on his conscious forever!

I attempted to purchase an air cleaner for my Yamaha Stryker. At the initial onset of finding SS Customs, I was extremely happy because its difficult to find unique aftermarket parts for my bike. I called to Shane to discuss the product i was interested in then I submitted my order via SS Custom's poorly designed site, which primarily consists of unsecured free form text boxes. I received an email from Shane notifying me that my order was canceled because my credit card billing address did not match my mailing address and the processor he uses doesn't allow that. I explained to him that I have two places of residence and then he said the IP address for the CPU that I placed my order from did not match my shipping address because I was at my other address at the time. Unfortunately Shane doesn't understand that the IP address is tied to the server not the physical location of the CPU and since I placed the order from my work CPU, it showed the location of the server. I called SS Customs to try work through the ordering issues but found Shane to be rude and unreasonable. I shop online regularly and I've never had any challenges ordering from any site from Amazon to Low & Mean or other local businesses. My advice to Shane is to get PayPal where the payers info is already verified. Avoid this place! I can't recommend SS Customs.

I found Shane to be very knowledgeable and helpful with several questions I had concerning installation on some issues I've had with my motorcycle. I placed another order this Monday and the items are to arrive on Thursday according to the tracking information that SS emailed me - just three days to Boca Raton, FL, so I think they shipped out the same day! I am eyeing several more custom products and would not hesitate to make a purchase from SS Custom Cycle. I am very active on the Yamaha Star Bolt Forum, and SS is always getting great reviews and seems to be a favorite for custom as well as stock parts. Dave B.

The bike shop is under an auto shop/state inspection garage (you can get your state inspection sticker added to service appt) on the corner of Washington & Warburton. About as easy as the Manhattan-Brooklyn ride with little traffic and a much nicer ride along the river. John was responsive on email and got me estimates within a day. Got new tires, fork seals, oil and brake fluid, chain and sprockets. Asked about major bearing clean/lube (headstock, swingarm, hubs) but John put the bike up and reported no play, noise or stiction. On the other hand although my tires had some tread left he caught some early warnings of dry rot. State inspection sticker was added on. Rates are fair, parts and tires shipped overnight and he stuck to the schedule and estimate. CC payment easy through a link in the estimate email. Seems to know Triumphs well, saw Japanese and Euro bikes in the shop. Happy with the service and quality of work at CycleLove.

Small shop that's big on communication and transparency. John is a super chill mechanic who is responsive, honest and efficient. Slip on and regular maintenance job was done right for a fair price and no pretense. John's mellowed out demeanor makes it stress-free ... a real testament to the art and zen of motorcycle maintenance. Will be back for sure.

Called to make an appointment for an inspection, when I brought my bike in they told me they don't do inspections on that day. When I mentioned that I called ahead of time no one seemed to know what I was talking about. Eventually I got the inspection and got new tires put on. After I got the bike back, they told me I might notice a "slight wobble" in my front tire. However, I was informed that I could bring it back and they would fix it if the wobble if it did not go away. Well, it did not and I called them back and they told me to bring it in. Only once I did, they then decided to inform me that because I bought the tire it was my problem and I would need to pay them for a new tire, tube, and installation. Basically implying that the tire I bought was defective and this wouldn't have happened if I bought it through them. It turns out that what actually happened is that they did a horrible job balancing my tire and thought it would be "good enough". Luckily I have a friend that actually knows how work on bikes, unlike these guys, and he was able to fix it for me. Shown below is the tire after I had it fixed.
