It was one of those girl's night outs where we wanted to have a little beer and good food but we were tired of the usual hangout. A friend recommended it once and we shrugged it off because we are creatures of habit, but this time we finally decided to give it a shot. Rustic Seafood is quite hidden in the dark area of the G-strip parking lot, with its barely readable sign and equally dark exteriors. Yet it was surprisingly filled that night, we were even lucky to get a table. The main dining area was al-fresco but it was well ventilated with a bunch of ceiling fans. Everything on the menu fit our student's (and fresh-grad's) budget so we ordered without fear and every single thing we ordered are now lined up to become "the usual". Rustic Seafood's no frills pulutan menu and chill-throwback music gained itself a spot on my list of best-places-for-some -drinks-with-friends-on-a-budget.
