Their famous fried chicken comes in different kinds of dressings (Soy Garlic, Spicy, Honey Citrus, or Crunchy Garlic), all which taste great. That's unlike most all-you-can-eat places where the dishes are already cooked. You cannot tell the restaurant anymore to avoid putting this or that ingredient. If I want to put lots and lots of mushrooms and vegetables, I can do so. One of the reasons why I keep coming back to Tong Yang is to eat plenty of mushrooms because on my own I cannot buy even ¼ as much as those served in Tong Yang. At least, looking for and buying the different kinds of mushroom is off my list. I only need to get as much as I can eat and cook them. If I want to put different kinds of fish or seafood into my sinigang, no one can tell me that it can't be. At home, some family members may find it odd for me to put two types of fish or maybe mix salmon with shrimp. Or, if they don't find it odd, they would stop me for budget constraints.
