It's a set menu but when you call to reserve you let her know of any allergies or dietary restrictions. The meal for the day my mom and I went including a spinach and tomato quiche; hashbrown casserole, fruit and a pop over as well as water, orange juice and coffee available. Dessert was a chocolate and peanut butter crepe cake. The presentation of the food itself was beautiful, but the table and decor of the place was also adorable. A great spot to come and will definitely be back.

While Savannah's Eliza Thompson House rules supreme for its local historic ambiance, the Grady House walks away with first prizes for food and caring staff in a historical setting. My point is that you'll have to drive two hundred miles across two states to find anything comparable to The Grady House. Real antique furnishings, real flowers, real hospitality, and very real people. It shines through in the Miller family and staff. The photos show the true to period decor of the home and grounds and its ambiance, as well as the exquisite presentation of the high quality breakfast. It's located in the Heart of the historic district in Palatka, Fl. We got very lucky to be able to reserved 2 rooms for this past weekend a year ago for a wedding that we attended. We got there Friday night at around 8:00 pm and Mr. Tate was such a gentleman to assist us and guide us to our nice cozy rooms. The rooms where clean and very comfortable. We were 2 couples, Mr. Tate was very kind and made us feel at home not like customers but family guests. In the morning his daughter Abby served us an amazing breakfast She as well was very attentive and kind. We were there for 2 nights and on the second day before checking out we again had a great breakfast and after that Mr. Tate, gave us a tour of this magic place, so much history on this magnificent landmark. This is the first time that we stayed in a Bed and breakfast Inn. And truly recommend this place to everyone. Thank you very much Tate and Abby for such a wonderful experience We'll definitely be back

From the street, Camellia Rose appears to be a well maintained historic looking building. It's a pretty decent size with a nice yard and water fountain out front as well as nice parking. When we arrived, Mrs Pat met us at the door and welcomed us in. She showed us around and scheduled a time for breakfast. She told us to call if we needed anything and was very sweet. We went to a ballgame and had dinner and then went to Rockeys in town before heading back. When we got back we immediately got in the big jacuzzi tub. (We stayed in anticipation). There's bathing salt provided which made it even better. The temperature and water pressure was great, everything was very clean and taken care of. There were a lot of little details that made the room even better. The bed was comfy- my honey didn't want to get up the next morning due to how soft the bed was. I ended up getting him up and we went and got coffee and sat out front for a few minutes before breakfast. Once it was served, we had fresh sweet fruit, some kind of egg dish that was my absolute favorite (the boyfriend stated I needed to "up my breakfast game" the next time I cooked haha), sausage, and a really good pumpkin bread that I could barely eat because I was so full. We refilled our coffee and sat on the upper balcony for the rest of our stay which was relaxing. It was a little chilly but there was a small blanket in our room I could cover up in as I sipped my coffee. All in all a very great place to stay and we look forward to returning! PROS: - very quiet and relaxing; not like a hotel room where people are yelling in the halls randomly - Excellent breakfast that will have you extra full and ready for the day - I recommend definitely getting a room with the big tub. I would stay in it all day with a book if I could - clean and well maintained - quick uber/drive away from everything - great patio to relax in the mornings or nights

You can feed and spend time with their horse, cows, donkeys, miniature horse, rabbit, peacocks, goats, and fish. They stock your cabins fridge for you so you can have breakfast at your leisure, they make sure to provide quite a few options. Nearby you can take in the Suwannee River and all the activities it has to offer (depending on the season of course). The only word of caution I would recommend is to travelers with allergies: make sure to check the weather report for pollen counts. With all the animals and foliage, there is plenty to make anyone sniffle, but if you have an allergy to pollen or any other seasonal allergen you could be overwhelmed. My wife was popping allegra and was still sniffling quite a bit and had some trouble sleeping because of it.
