It is beautifully laid out, mixing yarn and gifts, crammed in wall to wall in the old converted house. Upstairs is the serious yarn stash. Floor to (low attic eaves) ceiling and wall to wall yarn! They have an excellent selection, good prices for the quality of yarn they carry and a helpful, caring staff. We drove through Buena Vista this last weekend and the only reason I didn't fling myself from the vehicle (while Shawn was trying to fly by going twice the speed limit so that maybe if he drove by fast enough I may somehow forget it was there and drag him inside with me for 3 hours of yarn shopping) was because it was closed. If there were 10 stars, this place would get them all and more. If you are ever anywhere near Buena Vista, even if you don't do yarny crafts and you just like beautiful, hand-made gifts, do yourself a favor and stop by. And another update for the yarn I bought there - the brand the lady recommended, Alpaca With a Twist, is now my all-time favorite brand of alpaca yarn (and I even attended the Great Western Alpaca Show last year). But a fair enough place if you wanted to pick up a t-shirt. The reason for the 1 star review is that aside from the selection of items being pretty slim, the customer service was completely non existent. My friend and I were the only people in the place, which is relatively small and we walked a few circles around all the racks checking out the shirts for a good 7 or 8 minutes and the lady at the counter never looked up or acknowledged that we were present or said a word the entire time, despite us standing within just a few feet of her. It felt super awkward and kind of gave me the creeps. Being the only person in a shop standing next to an employee who is completely ignoring you just really threw me off, and it made the place seem uncomfortable and since I hadn't seen any shirts that really stood out I just sort of strolled on out of there and even as I left she never said a word or even looked in our direction. Crazy shit. You can read my reviews and see that I'm fairly easy to please and that I don't go negative very often. I don't have high expectations or think that businesses should cater to me. But when I go in a place and the vibe from the employees is basically fuck me like I don't even exist, that sucks and so I've gotta let others know so that they have a chance to avoid the experience that I had. To sum it up, mediocre t-shirts and sparse inventory with customer service that is apathetic at best. Can't recommend.

Many years ago, we also had them reupholster counter stools to match our family room love seat upholstery. Their furniture is of the best quality, and can be customized as needed. The staff is very helpful in discussing our needs and helping us find the right products, providing interior design guidance as needed. We keep coming back because of the high quality and unique items we find there. Every time we browse the showroom floor, we find treasures that we just can't pass up. We desire a distinctly southwestern style, and D'Amore has had just what we need, every time. We have been frequenting D'Amore Interiors since they were located on the I-70 Frontage on the West side of Denver. I guess that must be close to two decades! When they moved to their current location, we found them promptly, as we needed some leather dining room chairs! If you want to replace the high pressure furniture shopping routine for a great furniture shopping experience, including honest staff and prices, and fine, unique pieces, I highly recommend D'Amore Interiors.
