I don't know much about the technical aspects of orthodontic work, but I had always heard from friends that getting braces adjusted could be a very painful, uncomfortable experience -- but this was NEVER the case for me with Dr. Kojanis! She was always extremely gentle and is extremely skilled at what she does! I also had to have my braces removed before we planned to for unrelated medical reasons, and Dr. Kojanis was completely understanding of that, and adjusted our plan accordingly to make sure that I still got the smile we were working towards!! When I spoke with them, they reacted negatively to my accent and broken English. I felt judged and dismissed. One assistant made me repeat my address three times, even though I was speaking clearly. I was repeatedly told about payment policies and other advertising messages in a way that felt more like pressure than support.
