I took him in for an exam and possibly a surgical procedure to remove the ingested items to save him. Dr. White and I had discussed several options and the possibility of having to take him to a neighboring clinic for one of them, but after numerous options we went with the least evasive one and everything went according to plan. On another visit we had a new rescue dog that Dr. White saw for a very scary bout of vomiting and diarrhea. She examined her and added a course of antibiotics, administered her necessary vaccines and prescribed a course of action that took care of the issues, she also took the time (several minutes to discuss future course of action(s) and medications for future life stages. In conclusion: we have read the reviews posted by numerous people and have to say that after seeing/using vets in three countries, seven states and numerous cities; we put Lampasas Vet Clinic Doctors, Tech's and staff in our top three! Nice, presentable and clean, "PROFESSIONAL", compassionate, informative and knowledgeable.

I went back with him the second time and was not impressed. I then took our cat without him. She was being hostile but the vet was so rough with all 3 pounds of her. When he gave her her shots he kept taking the needle in and out of her and even though he called someone in to help him, he would not give up any control. As soon as we got her home, I noticed she was limping. This continued on for roughly a week before I called for advice or an appointment. I explained what happened to the person who answered the phone. The vet then got on the line and was very confrontational. I explained to him that even if he refused to take accountability that my cat was still hurt and I needed either advice or an appointment. We showed up today and I already knew we were going to have issues. I understand that I would not let him use the bigger towel (I brought my own) because I believed that's one of the reasons why he hurt the cat in the first place. It was too big and bulky to feel her and how rough he was being with her. He also wanted one of his people to handle her since it would be a liability if I got hurt. I told him that she's my cat and my husband told them we would sign a liability waiver. I told him that I know and I apologize for not being as accommodating as he's like but he's hurt her before and refuses to acknowledge that and I'm unwilling to let it happen again. He told us he was pulling our records and we could go somewhere else. Honestly had he had ANY type of bedside manner or accountability I would've felt differently but I truly feel that it's a defect in his mentality. An older man who cannot take any sort of criticism or being challenged.

She also came to us thinking other dogs were food not friends (she needs to hear the sharks in finding Nemo again apparently.) After nearly 4 weeks of board and train, Cammie is learning to peacefully (and obediently) coexist with the littles. I am so proud of my pup and in awe of Marissa and Nina for the profound difference in Cammie's confidence and ability to follow direction. She is so happy with her new found calm state that all I can say is that I wish I had dropped her off sooner!! They come to you to pick up your pup and provide progress reports along the way. They are truly dog whisperers so if you have any training needs, they are the ones to call!

We adopted a Belgian Malinois from a local rescue and started working with another trainer as soon as we brought him home. I can't tell you how many times I tried to walk this beast and would come home crying because "I will never be able to just go on a leisurely walk with him!!" We then met a man with a malinois also who raved about Nina, so we decided to give her a call. Ladies and Gentlemen, not only does our dog now have amazing recall, he walks beautifully on a leash but is actually able to be an off-leash dog most of the time! Having a working breed dog is not something that most trainers are used to working with (and no, a lab isn't the same as a malinois). Nina knew exactly what to do with our pup and gave us all the tools we needed to make him a happy, well trained dog.

We were completely amazed with the progress he made during his stay; all of his habits we'd hope to break and the new ones we hoped he'd gain (jumping up on visitors, begging, off-leash training, walking, fetch, recall, sit, stay, lay down, go to your bed, and so many more) far exceeded our expectations. She not only did an amazing job with his training but also including him as her family, and introducing him to several different environments that we never expected. She introduced him to children, strangers, dogs, and cats. I can't speak highly enough of the training Diezel received during his stay with Katie and her family. We will always hold our dogs to this standard now and will definitely be using Katie for our future pups. All the dog owners reinforce training even when the puppies are on off leash play time.
