I highly recommend Brad Trompeter for physical therapy. I had the best of the best. My shoulder surgery went well and I had a few mishaps after surgery which Brad helped me through. They are very nice and know what they are doing. I had over 6 months of therapy with them and I'm very happy with the results. Everyone here is awesome and it easy to schedule. It's a small place so good for someone dealing with concussion symptoms. They do work upstairs some with a bigger space. So options are unlimited. read more

I went to Joe for two complicated knee surgeries back in 2018. He was incredible, and I would highly recommend him and go back if I needed PT again. He's very knowledgeable with advanced degrees and was genuinely interested in solving my problem. I went to see Brad 3 months after a hip arthroscopy (I had gone to another PT office immediately after my surgery), and I had a very positive experience. Brad is knowledgeable, easy to talk to (trust me, this is a huge positive when you go to PT multiple times a week), and struck the perfect balance between pushing me to strengthen my hip while not risking injury. After a couple of months, I was able to run and work out without limitations. Best of all, I was pain free. Each exercise was tailored for what my body was able to handle and sessions were one-on-one, which can be rare in today's PT environment. Just want to say what a great job they did. I live far north...and it was worth the trip to go to this clinic. It was a terrific experience. Cindy was so helpful setting up my appointments and handling the insurance. She was so much more though. She made me feel welcome. She is nice and funny. She's also knowledgeable. She easily gained my trust. Joe was my therapist. He was careful, knowledgeable, and very thoughtful. As much as I didn't want to use the bicycle...Joe figured out how to make it work. As a first-timer to the world of physical therapy, there was plenty to be nervous about. I'm not entirely comfortable in my body as it is, so what would it be like to have someone so intimately engaged with it? *shiver* But Andrea and Cindy at Novacare put me at ease immediately when I arrived. And it took me awhile to get there - almost a year since my original prescription from my orthopedist. That's fear for you. I feel so lucky that I chose this location because there are MANY to choose from! Both women are true professionals - so you'll get done what needs to get done there and heal. But beyond that, which is something, they are both kind, supportive and patient. I learned more about how my body works in the six weeks I've been going to Andrea that I have my whole 36 years. Not only that, I've really increased my strength. The exercises she gave me to do at home, I did - so I did do my part, they aren't miracle workers - and the sessions were really focused on whatever pain or issue I was having AS I got stronger. For me, a tight IT band. I'm so grateful for the education I got at Novacare, and always felt very heard, taken care of and really well-serviced each and every session. Not to mention their constant grace when I had to cancel last minute or got an appointment time wrong. Andrea is a true healer, and Cindy is such a professional "face" of this particular location. I cannot say enough good things about my experience with Novacare. Joe was the best person to work with after my ACL surgery. I walked in completely defeated and didn't know how I was gunna get back but after working with him I was able to get better and make great improvements almost immediately. Joe took the time with me, motivated me, and was patient with anything I tried. I also cannot say enough good things about Cindy as well. I spoke with her almost everyday and she was so easy to work with and helped me make sure that if 1 time didn't work for me that another would. I had a chance to work with Jamie briefly as well and he was also great. The entire staff here really cares about what they are doing and I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone who needs a great PT experience. Thank you guys! read more

I wish i could give negative stars. The PT itself was wonderful, but this business has corrupt billing practices and i'm so glad that i'm the type of person that reviews my bills before paying them. I have been trying to get my billing resolved for months, but apparently what they are engaging in, per my insurance company, is called balance billing. They billed my insurance company, which is in-network, the maximum allowed rate, which my insurance company paid. They then sent me a bill directly for an amount 4 times what they are allowed to bill insured patients. So basically, they are getting paid by insurance, and then billing me a much higher amount, trying to get paid five times what the allowable cost of the service was. When i called the billing group to try and get it resolved, i was passed around, and then eventually dumped into someone's voicemail. i've been told that they are in breach of contract with American Specialty and with the insurance company, and just hope that others aren't being taken advantage of as well. Again, this is no fault of the actual PT that I worked with, but this is looking like an insurance scam and I'd say stay away! read more

I wish I could give this place more stars. This says a lot about this place since I tend to have mistrust towards medical professionals. I can't quite find the right words to describe Andrea, the physical therapist that has been taking care of me for the past month. Knowledgeable, caring, friendly, patient and gentle, doesn't even come close to doing her justice. I can't remember the last time I truly felt like I was in good hands until I got to work with Andrea. She is thorough, listens, and considers all possibilities and avenues until she finds the right approach for treatment. I came to her with aches and pains and felt them slowly disappear from session to session. The physical therapy office itself is very considerate of the working professional's schedule, and always accommodates last minute changes. Honestly the service that Andrea and the staff provide is top notch. I've unfortunately had multiple injuries and had to go to Andrea a few times. Every time though I have been in great hands and she has helped me down a road to a quicker recovery. She makes what could be an uncomfortable hour into one of the most enjoyable hours of your week. I'm recommended friends to Andrea and all of them have been very happy with the attention they were given and the end results of the therapy. Physical therapists are miracle workers on many levels and Andrea is one of the best. Had new insurance, left Rehab Hospital had no co-pay there. Go to NovaCare ask what about my copay told did not have one, sounded reasonable. Several months later received a $493 bill. I would not have gone as many times if I had known. Deceptive billing, set up a payment plan and they report you to Equifax. I would not use this company. Unless you are a hundred percent sure what you owe. contacted billing they told me too bad too sad. read more

Having playing football for far too long I have been through quite a few rounds of physical therapy for various injuries. I think Andrea is one of the best. She has a way of making you feel like you are the only patient she is seeing that day and she seems to genuinely care about your pain and progress. She has a certification in manual therapy which she utilizes often. It adds a lot of value to the sessions since this is not something you could just do on your own, and I really found it to be helpful. She is also a pleasant person which can be important when you spend a dozen or more hours together. Joe Zucco is a really great physical therapist. I had a hamstring injury, so thought I'd go to a sports Dr. to get it taken care of. The only thing of any use the Dr. from Northwestern did was refer me to PT. I was pretty annoyed, because I mistakenly thought the Dr. would actually treat my injury. Silly me! I had real doubts about PT, because I've had friends who went & really didn't get much out of it. My experience has been the complete opposite. Joe has all sorts of creative & effective exercises that have made me stronger & have me well on the road to recovery. I was very pleased with my experience at this Novacare location. I worked with Joe who was able to help me fully recover from my knee injury in 6 weeks. He is extremely knowledgeable and I always felt confident that he knew what was best for me. This was my first experience with physical therapy and I could not have been more pleased with the treatment and the results. Joe expertly guided me through the sessions, helping me increase muscle strength and greatly reduce the pain I was having. He is also a very personable guy and a pleasure to be around. I was lucky to link up with Joe Zucco, one of the PTs at this location. Joe has particular expertise on running and running injuries. He has been a great help to me and I am on the mend after almost four months during which my running has been very limited. Joe has a terrific manner and knows his stuff inside out.
