Post surgery I was going through a roller coaster of emotions to even make it out there. I told my PT, Andrea my goal was to just walk down aisle. She created a masterpiece of a plan for my recovery and it was beyond perfect. Don't get me wrong, some sessions were tougher than others but Andrea was so personable and knowledgeable, I knew she was the right person to get me back to 100%. Telos Physical Therapy should be the #1 destination for anyone in need of PT. The business side is ran very efficiently and the billing is handled in a very transparent manner. If you want to get back to 100% physically, go to Telos. I promise you won't regret it.

The chiropractors all really take their time with you and do soft tissue work as well. I've tried Evan, Jodi, and Neena and consistently see Neena every week. Neena does an amazing job every time and she is also just so fun to see/talk with. She takes an interest in what's going on with my body each week and I feel so much better after her adjustments. I also see Mary Thate for massages each week--she will beat you up and you will definitely be sore after the first visit or two, but she also really knows her stuff and does a great job. I recently started doing PT with Luis Sanchez for general maintenance (no specific injuries) and I can already feel myself getting better muscle balance, improved posture, and improvements in my mind/muscle connection for weaker muscles like lat engagement and wrist stability. I came in skeptical about chiropractic care, but Dr. Neena completely changed my mindset. From my very first visit nearly 2 years ago, she was incredibly professional, knowledgeable, and took the time to explain everything in a way that made me feel comfortable and confident in the process. Not only has she helped me feel so much better physically, but her approach to care has turned me into a repeat customer and now, my husband sees her too! The combination of chiropractic adjustments, massage therapy, (and even an X-ray service when I had a tailbone injury!!) that she has performed has been a game-changer for us. The entire team is top-notch, the office is well-run, and the care they provide is next level. If you've ever been on the fence about chiropractic care, go see Dr. Neena! She's truly one of the best in the business, and I can't recommend her enough.

I am currently being seen by Omar at the clinic on Wabash to address my IT issues, which stem from my weak hips, weak glutes and bad balance. I'd been meaning to get gait analysis done forever, but hadn't gotten around to it. And wow, I'm glad that I got it done! All you runners out there that haven't gotten it done should!! The video does not lie. And, you can't see yourself running (unless you or someone else films you) and let's be honest, when you're racing, you might not be thinking about your form as much as you need to. With me, I'm thinking about the time and finishing as fast as I can. The process went as such: Jason evaluated me as I ran through a series of tests. He them filed me walking on the treadmill and then he filmed me as I ran. I ran at a comfortable pace and ran as I normally would. He then went over the film with me and pointed out some key issues. For me, when I land, my left leg comes out to the side and I land on the outside of my foot. My left knee drops in too. Not good. Also, my kick is not going far back enough, which causes me to land way too far out instead of landing underneath my hips. Again, this is in part due to my weak hips. But, there are things I can do to work on form, which I will try. I have yet to get my report and go over it with my PT. I look forward to reviewing it and making whatever changes I can. Bottom line: if you are a runner get gait analysis done! You won't regret it!

They created a plan that was tailored to me and pushed me just enough to make real progress without feeling overwhelmed. Honestly, the results feel almost like a miracle. When I first came in, my shoulder was in rough shape, and I wasn't sure how much better it could get. Now, it feels significantly stronger and more mobile--I'm beyond grateful. I truly owe my improvement to the amazing team at Cora. If you're looking for a place that combines professionalism, kindness, and real results, I can't recommend Cora Physical Therapy enough. Perhaps once a year or so, one of my leg muscles or somewhere in my knee joint would flare up during training and slow my running nearly to a halt. The experience was always incredibly demoralizing. And perhaps more demoralizing was the fact that repeated bouts of physical therapy didn't seem to prevent the issue from occurring in the future. It always felt like something was missing, so I searched around for an expert that could help me piece it together. I sat down with Jason for my initial evaluation, prepared for another month long routine of stretching and glute strengthening exercises. But even within the first half hour of meeting me, Jason was already subverting my expectations. He effortlessly identified a lack of hip mobility and tight quads -- the ultimate "etiology" of the knee pain as he called it. He sent me off with some hip mobilization exercises, and when I came back soon after he offered to dry needle my quads. The difference these two changes made were night-and-day. The nightmare of another month of PT had vanished in an instant, and I was back to running nearly pain-free. And what's more so is that the results have lasted. A few short weeks in Jason's care, and I've been back to the running grind nearly flawlessly for months on end now. Jason is truly different than other PTs I've worked with in the past. He clearly has a remarkable level of experience and a principled approach to rehabilitation that yields sustained results. I am incredibly happy I chose Jason for my PT and would highly recommend him to other runners.

For several months I endured stubborn shoulder issues and was losing hope that I would get better. My shoulder issues were impacting my daily life in many ways--I was unable to sleep on it, could not participate in workouts involving weight overhead, could not do push-ups, and even something so minor as holding my work bag for long periods became difficult. I was especially upset at the impact on my workouts as I am really into Olympic weightlifting and my shoulder was limiting my progress. Prior to finding Anthony, I was treated by another physical therapist and a chiropractor for months and did not see any change in my condition. But to my surprise, after only 3 weeks of consistently working with Anthony and the Core team, my shoulder drastically improved and I was well enough to be released and return to my normal activities. Anthony was a college athlete and I believe this was especially helpful as he truly understood a lot of the issues I was running into with my lifting regimen, whereas my prior PT, who was not an athlete, did not seem to understand. I also appreciated that Anthony not only attentively worked on me at Core's studio, but also provided me with the education and tools to continue to address my troublesome shoulder at home. In addition to the stellar care that I received from Anthony, I also loved the convenience of being able to schedule my appointments online. Anthony has a flexible schedule that was convenient for me as a busy professional and I was always able to be seen. Another added plus is that this location is very convenient public transportation-wise, and I had no issue taking the el to the West Loop location during lunch or right after work. Thanks so much Anthony and Core Physical Therapy! I am so happy to be back to "beasting" my overhead lifts and once again sleeping on my favorite shoulder! :)
