The downside is that if you need, say an M4 X 50mm screw, they will have it but you're stuck having to make the minimum purchase size of 50 screws. It's reasonable as far as piece price, so 50 will be about $8, but if you only need 4, what you do with your remaining 46 is your problem. These guys are not likely to open a package unless it's an exceedingly popular size and they know they will sell it. Their local store phone support is usually very good. Presuming the attendant isn't too busy he will help guide you however you need.

I used them for bookkeeping services not tax work, but their practices could be the same there. I fully explained the scope of the work they would be doing, showing them what the last bookkeepers had been doing. Their price was comparable to other quotes I had received and what I had been paying. After doing the bookkeeping for the agreed period with much grumbling, they wanted to DOUBLE the rate they quoted me, so I had to go through all the head ache of moving my business somewhere else. Also, at the end,the staff would say one thing about the billing and then, the billing department would bill me at their outrageous rates (for bookkeeping). Their work is not impressive either. For months the financials were late and filled with errors, employees paid out of the wrong company, many erroneous expenses that were not on the bank statement,etc. Ultimately after hours of my time finding the errors they fixed them. I guess they just thought I would roll over and pay them double what they quoted me and when I held them to their agreement for the specified time period, they just slapped the financials together. Altogether a terrible experience that hopefully others can avoid.
