My name is Jillian Ashley and my husband Dave and I would like to give all of you our comments on "Tamara Schroeder Insurance Services" to help anyone who is looking for an insurance agent in California that they can trust, will provide the best customer service in the industry, and who will fight for them if necessary. We've been a customer of Tamara's company for many many years. At least 15 years overall. Throughout a of those years, Tamara and her assistant April, have been most incredible. They do all of the research that's necessary (a lot of which can't be done by the consumer) and will locate the best policy for you and your family's needs. They will find the best policy based on both coverage and price, after doing all of the necessary research based on what your individual / family parameters are. If you have any other needs, they will include those into their research. Schroeder Insurance covers every aspect of your needs - and provides the absolute best coverage of those needs in the entire industry. We both, my husband and I, have had special needs in coverage areas that Tamara's company have always been able to satisfy at the highest level. If ever we have questions, or an extra step needs to be taken, Tamara and April makes sure we are covered. My advice would be, as well as my husbands, to sign up with Schroeder Insurance Services. They have also helped members of my family and my friends. If Schroeder Insurance couldn't be of help, they took their valuable time to point our friends and family in the best direction possible. You couldn't find a better insurance agent in the country. Most sincerely, Jillian and Dave Ashley read more

Tamara and her colleague were very helpful from the beginning for me to choose right insurance plan. Recently, I was billed from my doctor's office for about $1,400.00. That was just for a regular doctor's visit and regular blood test. I was stressed out about this because in my knowledge, that should have been covered by my insurance company. I tried several months to contact my insurance company to speak with someone but no success. Finally, I contacted Tamara and she wanted to get to the bottom of this problem and went on research this problem and finally spoke with my insurance company. It turns out that my doctor was not part of my current insurance plan in this year 2014 Even though they said they take my insurance plan. I understood there were allot of confusions between insurance companies and hospitals due to a new Obama Care ( Covered California ). Tamara spoke to insurance company and I did not have to pay any of above charges for this one time. I was very happy with Tamara's dedication to get to the problems in the first place and then helped me in this matter. As I asked her, I wish she could represent not only health insurance but also car insurance and home insurance etc as well. I would trust her for any of these matters. And the referal I gave to my friends who have 5 family members with multiple health issues, they were also very happy that they received Tamara's outstanding help in getting the right health coverage for their family. I am very happy to know there is a person like Tamara in business world who cares about her client as much as she does in this difficult time of our lives. Thank you & Brava Tamara! read more

I have AIDS and had no health insurance since finding myself fired in February. Like so many others I waited until the last dying dog's ear before scrambling last minute to find someone to decipher what Obamacare meant to me and by what drop dead date to spare my bottom line come next tax season. Thank goodness for Schroeder Insurance Services. Maria explained everything needed and what to expect at the round robin Obamacare clinic, then Tamara took up the baton to make sure the deal sewed up seamlessly on time, even conferencing me with a live agent from [AFFORDABLE BIG BUSINESS INSURANCE PROVIDER] to post that mission critical initial payment during the unrelenting crush of all those other last-minute enrollees! Professional, punctual and perfectly in-the-know about practically everything pertaining to my particular health insurance peculiarities. In all seriousness, I was facing becoming another statistic without my antivirals, not to mention all the other pills it takes to keep me going with the knowledge of this devil inside me. These exceptionally gifted and ridiculously talented ladies gave me my life back, in a box with a big red ribbon and card postmarked May 1st, when I got my first labs in almost a year. Schroeder Insurance Services. Say it seven times to commit to memory and another five just because they rock out loud with a bullhorn. I'm bitter, despondent and more than a little jaded about pretty much everything and everybody. And I trust Schroeder Insurance Services. With my life. 'nuff said. read more

Tamara and April are incredible! I went to them after my divorce a few years ago when I was frantic and needed new insurance for me and my two kids since rates had skyrocketed. Tamara spent lots of time and had infinite patience with me and my constant barrage of questions. She and April provided information about health options in a way that was clear and concise and they were always available to talk. This year I became eligible for Medicare and they again informed me of all of my options and helped me to pick the options that were right for me and got my kids' coverages as well. I cannot praise them enough or recommend them more highly. They are knowledgeable, honest, enthusiastic about their work and while I've never met them in person I feel like they are friends. They go out of their way to be available which I have found to be rare in the current business culture. There are times I have called their office on weekends or evenings, expecting to leave a message and Tamara has answered the phone! I've recommended them to others and have gotten only positive feedback and many thanks for the referral. Again, they are incredible! read more

I found Tamara Schroeder in a curious way. While at a restaurant, I was having a conversation about needing to find a health insurance agent. A lady at the table next to us apologized for intruding into our conversation, but she had the most incredible insurance agent. She gave me Tamara's name and phone number and emphatically avowed that I would love having Tamara as my agent. She was right! Tamara truly offers customer service that exceeds what most of us even consider possible, anymore. She is extremely competent, very easy to talk to, explains options in a straight-forward manner and her follow-up is impeccable. Then, there is my all-time favorite--Tamara is the most ethical person I've met in business in a very long time. Insurance companies change their coverage year to year, however, I didn't pay attention to the changes. Tamara called me before open enrollment to say she thought I was paying too much for prescription coverage. Wow! An agent that was willing to take less on her commissions to make sure I didn't overpay for my coverage! And, she initiated the call--I was clueless until she called. THAT is ethics. read more

I've been a client of Tamara's since 2008, when my prior broker didn't care enough to find the right policy for me. Tamara not only found a policy to fit my budget, but also one that gave me the coverage I needed - and she defly handled all the paperwork for the application process! Answering insurance application questions takes some know-how, and Tamara knows her stuff. In fact, she knows it better than the actual insurance company (which I'll not name), which became clear during the ACA transition period. They couldn't answer simple questions, so I turned to Tamara - she worked under a tight deadline, knew the right departments to call, and bam - all was taken care of! She's also very proactive, contacting me when it's time to renew and taking the time to go over any changes that I might consider that could save me money. One year, she had to call me a few times since I was busy, but she is persistent - she'll never make just one call and wait for your response. She will stay on top of it! I only wish I could give her 10 stars - yes, she is THAT awesome. read more

In this day and age of mass confusion in the health insurance business it is imperative that you have the most knowledge in your corner. Schroeder Insurance is the answer. Tamara and her staff are the most professional, honest, and friendly agency I have ever dealt with! She has seen my husband and myself through years of individual health insurance needs. She has gone over and above when it comes to finding a plan that would work for us. She has been there daily for my questions with the new health plans that are so confusing. There have been times when I have called them daily and never have I been made to feel like it is a bother to answer my questions-again. She saw my husband through the Medicare process and helped with the best supplemental for it. Believe me----that is not an easy process! If there is ever a question she can't answer she will call the insurance company and get an answer and then call me back. I highly recommend Schroeder Insurance Agency for ALL your insurance needs. Tamara Schroeder of Schroeder Insurance Services is an excellent medical and dental insurance consultant. Tamara and her staff are exceptionally knowledgeable of the health care field as it relates to insurance and its related processes. When the affordable Health Care Act became law it was extremely difficult for the lay person to understand the law or make contact with the various insurance providers. Tamara was always available to take my call and follow through with insurance carrier regarding any questions or issues I had. Equally important was dealing with Covered California regarding tax credits and once again Tamara and her team were always available to take my call and work directly with Covered California on my behalf. I highly recommend Schroeder Insurance Services for any health care related insurance activities and have passed along her name to friends and colleagues. Working with Tamara and her staff was one of the best decisions I made in the last ten years. GW read more

Tamara has represented myself and my family for years. Whenever we had an issue she was very helpful and we were able to resolve insurance/hospital matters quickly. My main reason for writing a review, however, has to do with how she stepped up to the plate with the whole Covered California / Obama Care thing. We were not "grandfathered" in due to some very minor change we had made a year or more before, so we had to re-apply. I thought I could do it myself. After hours on hold and so many dropped calls I lost count I reached out for help and she just handled it all. Talk about a relief. Recently, we discovered our child wasn't covered as we thought, at least not according to Covered California. Again she stepped in and quickly proved that we were correct about our son being covered, got on the phone and ran it up the management levels until they not only corrected the coverage as it had been applied for (retroactive) but also lowered our rate. She's terrific. read more

My husband and I were in the process of obtaining Medicare and secondary insurance, we were referred by a friend to Schroeder Ins. Services. I can not express my gratitude and appreciation to Tamara and April. Not only are they very knowledgeable, the customer service they provide is outstanding, something that is hard to find these days. We could not have completed this process with out their help and guidance. Another wonderful quality of Schroeder Ins Services in the follow up, they will be reveiwing our insurance each time open enrollment comes up, this takes away all of the red tape and worry of not processing documents on time or correctly. Tamara and April will guide us through each step, and I am looking forward to working with them again in the next few months as I will be needing new insurance. My husband and I can without reservation recommend Schroeder Ins Service. Thank you again so very much Tamara and April read more

I cannot say enough good things about Tamara Schroeder. She is by far the most knowledgeable, energetic, and straight-talking insurance agent I have ever worked with. While other agents just threw up their hands and refused to help us with a difficult health insurance problem, Tamara cheerfully rolled up her sleeves and got it done. My experience has been that most insurance agents are merely sales reps. However, Tamara advised us with experience and objectivity even when it was not in her own self interest. Her assistant, April Peterman, is fantastic as well. Her infallible follow-through saved us untold grief and aggravation during a very trying application process. I could not recommend this team more highly. read more

Schroeder Insurance defines customer service. Tamara and her staff are prompt, reliable, personable and VERY knowledgable. Over the past several years she has taken the time to understand my personal situation and help me pick a plan accordingly. She keeps me up to date and lets me know when new, better plans become available. Thanks to her diligence, the transition to Covered California was completely seamless and allowed me to save money. I have proudly referred friends to Schroeder Insurance and they've all been equally as pleased and impressed with the level of service and personal attention. I am not a big reviewer but I just had to post. I cannot say enough good things about Tamara and her team! I have been a client of Tamara's on and off for the past few years and have invariably come to her in a crisis where we needed insurance sorted within a day or two. It happened again just a few weeks ago right in the busiest time of the year for health insurance agents - open enrollment. Yet despite that, it felt - yet again - that she dropped everything to make sure me and my family were sorted and not without health insurance. Her attention to detail, listening skills - she really works on what YOU want - and quick turnaround are amazing! Thank you Tamara! read more

Tamara and April are an amazing team! Getting health insurance can be an overwhelming and intimidating task. With all the different health care providers and all the various policies it can seem impossible to make the right decision. Schroeder insurance helped me find the right plan for me. They are well informed, creative, thorough, and very patient. They did such a great job sorting out my health coverage, that I had them help me with dental too! They were quick to reply whenever I had questions, and they remind me when I need to update or change my policy. I highly recommend Schroeder insurance for all your insurance needs! Tamara and April are extremely knowledgeable about all aspects of the ever changing medical insurance industry. We have worked with them for years and are always satisfied. It took the insurance company 8 months to resolve the issue but Tamara and April were on top of the situation the whole time. Their attention to detail and follow up skills is a comfort. Tamara Schroeder has been our agent for ten years. It is not an exaggeration to say that Tamara is an attentive, responsive, thorough, experienced, caring, knowledgeable, professional, and a client focused insurance agent. We recently had a serious health insurance coverage issue and phoned Tamara at 5pm the night before Thanksgiving. Tamara not only took the call, but then immediately contacted our insurance company to begin resolution of our problem, demonstrating what a dedicated advocate she is for her clients. Tamara was successful in achieving a positive outcome for our situation thereby saving us thousands of dollars. read more

I am completely impressed and delighted with the services that Tamara provided: helping me to sort out the piles of confusing information about Medicare and get me signed up on time. Even after attending a seminar and reading about the numerous options, I still felt unsure about the best choice. Tamara helped me narrow down the choices quickly so that I could confidently sign up for the right plans. She handled all the paperwork efficiently and professionally, answered all of my questions. What a relief. And all of this was done via e-mail, a few phone calls and mail. Thank you so much Tamara! read more
