Thought I'd circle back and see if women are allowed back in after stepping outside yet, or if…read morethat's still reserved for the guys. The last time I visited, I was already inside, stepped out briefly to make a phone call, and was refused re-entry while several men walked right in without issue. Bonus points to the bouncer for telling my friends, "Your parents should be very proud of who they raised," because they had the audacity to point out that leaving a woman outside alone at night with no coat wasn't exactly appropriate. Still one of the most bizarre customer service experiences I've ever had. It's impressive how one employee can make people swear they'll never come back. Nothing says "great security staff" like refusing re-entry to a woman who was already inside while continuing to wave men through the door. Absolute 0/10. I left with no confidence that customer safety or basic respect was a priority.

French onion soup broth and onions were great, burnt cheese taste not so much. Ordered the Cobb salad and it came with no turkey on it. Had to ask waitress for the turkey. Service was good, we were sat at a table quickly and drinks were always refilled quickly. Half side bar, half side restaurant. It was just ok.... Way better places locally unfortunately.

To be honest, we had wanted to go to a different pizza place in the area, but they were closed…read more Pulled out the old handy Yelp app, and found this place was only about 5 miles away. We headed down here for some pizza. I am super glad we did! So this type of pizza is North East Pennsylvania style. Its like a cookie sheet pizza, fried in peanut oil on the bottom. It gives it a nice crisp crust, but the dough is lighter than say a "Detroit" style. Not as crispy, and more chewy. They cut it into rectangles and call them "cuts" instead of "slices" and they are served in a "tray". Half tray is 7 cuts, full tray is 14 cuts. We went with a full tray of cheese, half with no onion, and a half tray of "The Kitchen Sink". They have Coke products to drink. My Brother also got an order of 3 pierogies. How was everything? Kitchen Sink Pizza- Man, this thing surprised the hell out of me. I was NOT expecting this pizza to be so delicious. I wasn't even that hungry and I still put down about 6 cuts between the 2 pizzas. The Kitchen Sink has 2 different kinds of sauce (I think like a bbq and a tomato/marinara) a couple blends of cheese, some onions, and some shredded chicken. It was like a cross between a BBQ chicken pizza and a tomato pie. It was different, and it was GOOD! Cheese Pizza- So their normal cheese pizza comes with cheese, and onions on top of red sauce. We got half the tray with onions and half without. Some of us were farting that night, some of us weren't. (Onion joke if you didn't get it). It was so simple, yet so delicious. The bottom was cooked perfectly for a little crisp, some chew, good cheese pull, great sauce. Pierogies- They were huge! 3 to an order. Boiled and swimming in butter. I prefer my pierogies pan fried and a little crispy...these were not....but, they were still tasty! Pillowy soft with the potato and cheese filling. They were good! The waitress that was working there was a younger gal who was nice and friendly. Next time in PA, I will definitely be back. This was a hidden gem that turned out to be so much better than I had hoped. Truly, Pizza Heaven!

But I still tried it, absolutely horrible. The Steak Taco Plate was missing roasted jalapeno, chipotle creme fraiche, cotija cheese. The corn tortillas were dry and inedible. The Fried Tacos were basically fried fish with coleslaw on dry corn tortillas. The batter actually had a sweet taste to it.

Even the patrons there were nice! We tried the pretzel, the wings (dry rubbed with old bay and also the bourbon glazed), shepherds pie, Big Mic flatbread, and the stuffing. The pretzel was great! Slight crunch on the outside, soft and chewy on the inside. It came with beer mustard and beer cheese, neither of which were that impressive. I'd probably just have regular cheese sauce or yellow mustard, but it was great on its own...and it's HUGE. It took a couple of days to finish and the texture held up nicely. The wings were also very big and cooked well. All of their flavor options are for wet wings, so when I asked for dry, they offered the old bay. Both were okay flavor wise, but you definitely get a big wing for your money. Sadly, the 2 signature items we got (the sheperds pie and the Big Mic flatbread) were very underwhelming. The pie tasted like it had instant mashed potatoes on top and lacked flavor throughout. The big mic had some of the flavor it was going for, but the toppings were too large (big chunks of beef and lettuce) - would maybe be better if they were cut up smaller. Also, the dough seemed too thick for this (almost like it was made on foccacia bread), a thinner curse would have been much nicer. And the side of stuffing, tasted like regular stove top (which is good), but it was very dry here. Hopefully some improvements could be made because the people were so great.

What's up fellow foodies! I got an unexpected video for you today; 1st time ever I am using Door…read moreDash to get some Booyah Burger. As for the door dash, not a bad service actually, would have been happier if they rang your doorbell or at least called your phone to let you know the order arrived. They just literally dropped my bag of food on the porch near the door and sent a pic. Now I didn't hear my phone go off, so it sat about 10 minutes and my fries were getting cold, not Booyah's fault. The cheeseburger was awesome. I added grilled mushrooms, onions, along with mayo, lettuce, and ketchup. Now my fries probably would have been better if they didn't sit outside for 5 minutes getting cold, they were still warm, and again I do not blame Booyah for that. Now they add a seasoning, wasn't bad but a little overkill for my taste anyway, next time I'll ask to go light but other than that I would definitely recommend. Until next time be blessed and stay safe. Our Video Review Premiers Soon! https://youtu.be/0VpHGgHPUcQ
