I ordered Rush Bowls on Uber Eats because they were doing a BOGO deal. The pricing is very fair to begin with, so to get two bowls for the price of one is a no brainer. I got the classic acai bowl, and it was pretty good! The base is a little different than a lot of other bowl places. The acai is mixed with fruit juice and blended as opposed to a scoopable acai base like most places have. It was not as thick as I had wanted, but the portion size was huge! They had the option to get extra granola, and I regret not doing that, because the ratio of base to granola was off. Their granola was absolutely delicious, and I also added bananas and strawberries on top along with honey. I definitely recommend this bowl, but add more granola or toppings! I ended up adding more of my own granola at home to get the job done. Overall, it was delicious, and I want to try more variety next time. read more

We needed a quick and light lunch near campus and decided to try rush bowls. We picked up a peach pump smoothie (with added protein), four rush bites, which are power balls or energy bites made with fresh ground peanut butter and coated in shredded coconut, and some 'cado toast, which was seriously amazing. All that food was actually more filling than we expected, and two of us didn't even finish it! It is more like 4.5 stars.. Wish there was an option for that. So I came here for a Yelp happy hour event today and it was raining pretty bad. The reason why I want to give it a 4.5 is because the location had no parking so I had to park in the Panera parking lot which kind of made me nervous. The location is on W. They were very descriptive on what they offer at Rush Bowl. I ordered the "COMFORT" Berry Fresh Bowl with added toppings (1 dollar extra per topping) of chia seeds and coconut shreddings. My order came out pretty quick and it was so pretty to look at. The taste was great. Everything had a fresh clean taste to it. Nothing was over bearing the other flavors. Also, if you order something with milk in there you can you what milk to you. This place caters to your taste buds and reminds me of a place I use to go to in "The Bay" in California but instead of me paying 13 dollars for it it was only 8 dollars. Each bowl only comes with one extra topping, so loading your bowl could get a little pricey. The granola and peanut butter toppings were very nice, though. Being that there is only one other smoothie bowl option on campus (south campus), Rush bowls has monopolized the north campus health scene. I had the Beach Bowl on my first stop at Rush. It was really good! The portions are huge for an açaí bowl. I could tell that the ingredients were super fresh and the staff was very helpful considering my lack of experience with açaí bowls. The Beach Bowl had just the right amount of honey on top of the heaping amount of granola to pull it all together. It was delicious. I know that these restaurants tend to be on the steeper side, but I definitely think you get what you pay for! Okay so I was never a firm believer in açaí bowls. I just thought they are overpriced and not that filling. Oh was I wrong after the bowl that I had! I was able to find street parking a block away but I think this location will do well because their main customers will be students who won't have cars. But my bowl was extremely filling. I actually was able to get two meals out of it because I ate it before and after a work out class. The bowl has protein in it, the cashier suggested I add peanut butter to it and it had a weight trimmer added to it as well. So it was very very nutritious. The staff is super friendly and really fast which is perfect if you're popping in for breakfast or lunch and you're on the go. Smoothies are about $7 and bowls are $8 which is very reasonable for what you get. I ordered the Peach cobbler and it was spot on flavor and exactly the comfort option I was looking for on a dreary day. I opted to add fresh strawberries for more delish flavor (extra toppings are $1) ...oh, and they have color changing spoons and straws I also ordered a Berry Fresh bowl to go and the staff said to freeze it then let it thaw a bit for the perfect next day meal. I was sad this is the only location because I am never in this area but then I was told they are opening up 2 more!! I had heard about the special summer smoothie, the Summer Mojo, and knew we would love to try it. So when we found ourselves in the area, we popped right in. While the physical line was short, it sounded like they had gotten hit with a pretty hefty number of online orders, and it was keeping the two staff members running around. Two off duty staff stopped in and immediately started assisting when they realized what their colleagues had on their hands. It was really nice to see their camaraderie and teamwork - it really speaks well of a place that has staff who are willing to pull together and as a customer, I was very appreciative of them jumping in. In the meantime, I was perusing the menu board and was intrigued to see they had a lot of new tasty options outside of the smoothie realm, including an avocado toast and Rush Bites, all of which sounded delightful and will be on my to try list for a future visit. I tried the dragon bowl and added peanut butter and bananas on top. It was really good and the peanut butter is made fresh daily! They also have bowls for your dog and donate $1 to the humane society for every bowl purchased. Such a cute idea and my dog loved it!! I really enjoyed my bowl! I wish I was on campus so I could make this a more frequent visit (Bridge St location, maybe?) but I'm happy I got to try it. I ordered the Peanut Butter and Jelly bowl with chocolate chips :) it looks small but you're full if you eat the entire thing. You can really make your bowl choice as healthy or unhealthy as you want. They have protein powders and supplements if you're into that and some additional add ins. It took a little bit to make my bowl, but the presentation was worth it. The location is definitely an issue so they will need to entice campus workers/students because I don't see the general public trying to figure out parking to come here, which is such a bummer because it really was great and I'm still daydreaming about my bowl. I lucked out with a meter, but campus parking is exhausting. The location is not ideal for others since there is no designated parking, just a few meters around the corner and other spots a bit of a walk away. I was looking for a Zest/Alchemy type place that had smoothie bowls and cold-pressed juices. While Rush does not have cold-pressed juices, they have a plethora of smoothie bowls! I got the Summit bowl and added whey protein, matcha green tea, and kale/spinach mix. It was delicious!! The granola and honey added a nice crunch and flavor with each bite. They offer smoothies made from scratch with fresh fruit, toppings, supplements and frozen yogurt. When I walked in the staff was super friendly and helpful with the menu. I ended up getting the paradise bowl with a weight loss supplement(they offer free supplement Saturday/Sunday), topped with granola and honey. It was very good. I really liked the granola and honey. The only reason it's a 4.5 and not a 5 is due to parking and seating. There is absolutely no seating or parking. So it's just like a walk in smoothie shop. They def should add a table or some high stools since there did appear to be a raised bar area. I look forward to going back to try maybe the spicy bowl or Acai bowl. read more

This place is pretty awesome! I came here via an invitation from Yelp! I am not sure I would've seen this place any other way. The customer service from the jump was just spectacular. They staff was super helpful and answered every question that I may have had. So that was a super plus for me. This smoothie even though it's tiny in stature is totally different from any other smoothie / juice place that I've visited in central Ohio. The huge selection of drinks, smoothies and smoothie bowls was quite overwhelming but if you let them know what it is that you are looking for. They will help guide you to the proper destination for your taste buds to settle at. I would hate to tell you what it was that I got in fear persuading you to go that way but I created my own concoction. So either you go off the menu or make your own. The menu is very large+diverse in terms of options of bowls, the staff is friendly and fast, and the prices are very reasonable. This is the only other smoothie bowl place I've been to besides zest, and I think I'll be going here from now on because it's a little cheaper but still high quality. The only small complaint I have is that there's only about 6 seats inside...I wish they had more options for seating. This acai bowl is very large a d delicious! The actual acai is very delicious and is a little thinner in consistency than most I have tried. I was surprised when ordering one of the pre-designed bowls on their menu I still had to pick my own toppings. I'm used to selecting a tropical bowl for example and it coming with everything in the picture. Next time I'd definitely add more toppings to it! read more
