Went to Rush Bowls for the first time for some breakfast..Service was terrible. Smoothie was gross couldn't even finish it and had to throw it away. Seriously consider hiring nicer employees. read more

I ordered Rush Bowls on Uber Eats because they were doing a BOGO deal. The pricing is very fair to begin with, so to get two bowls for the price of one is a no brainer. I got the classic acai bowl, and it was pretty good! The base is a little different than a lot of other bowl places. The acai is mixed with fruit juice and blended as opposed to a scoopable acai base like most places have. It was not as thick as I had wanted, but the portion size was huge! They had the option to get extra granola, and I regret not doing that, because the ratio of base to granola was off. Their granola was absolutely delicious, and I also added bananas and strawberries on top along with honey. I definitely recommend this bowl, but add more granola or toppings! I ended up adding more of my own granola at home to get the job done. Overall, it was delicious, and I want to try more variety next time. read more

Recently stopped here to try their hangover smoothie which was definitely much needed. For a smoothie it was a bit pricey but they also sell healthy bowls too which I almost contemplated about getting as well. Staff was pretty friendly, store is friendly and has great vibes. Small dining a space. Wait times aren't too bad as well. Overall; solid, casual visit that's worth going back too. read more

I was on the trail enjoying a bike ride and was craving a smoothie or açaí bowl when I conveniently saw a few people with smoothies sitting in the park. I went around the corner and found this place. The smoothie was huge & hit the spot. Mine was a little plain/ didn't have much flavor, but my friend's was delicious. Greta spot to grab a few smoothies and sit in the park. read more

You have never had avocado toast like this! Or have you? Rush Bowls has a new menu item - Cado Toast. Toasted multi grain sourdough toast, avocado, honey goat cheese, Irish sea salt & honey. Add on balsamic reduction, and really level it up. I could eat these all day. Need another great snack? Try the Rush Bites. Think power balls made with fresh peanut butter, rolled in sweet coconut flakes. If a drink is more your thing, then go for the smoothies. The Peach Pump was delicious. All of these items are great options to fill you up! @ohiofoodlover read more

We needed a quick and light lunch near campus and decided to try rush bowls. We picked up a peach pump smoothie (with added protein), four rush bites, which are power balls or energy bites made with fresh ground peanut butter and coated in shredded coconut, and some 'cado toast, which was seriously amazing. All that food was actually more filling than we expected, and two of us didn't even finish it! Amazing food and friendly, helpful staff made this a great experience and an excellent choice for a healthy lunch! read more

Rush Bowls is another place with açaí bowls. It's a good place if you like that powerful fruit. They have bowls and smoothies. Bowls here are pretty big. They also pile on toppings. Have an idea in mind where you're taking your bowl. It's tight inside. There's some room to stand and eat along the wall. If there's no one else. There's a few places to sit outside when the weather is okay. I had the Beach Bowl. It's about $7 for the regular size. This is the signature flavor, made with açaí, bananas, and covered with granola on top. Honey is drizzled on most bowls. You can leave most ingredients out. It also has supplements you can add. One is the soy protein. This helps make it thicker. read more

It is more like 4.5 stars.. Wish there was an option for that. So I came here for a Yelp happy hour event today and it was raining pretty bad. The reason why I want to give it a 4.5 is because the location had no parking so I had to park in the Panera parking lot which kind of made me nervous. The location is on W. Lane Ave right before High Street. Otherwise than that I had a great experience here. I walked in and was greeted with friendly faces (employees). They were very descriptive on what they offer at Rush Bowl. I ordered the "COMFORT" Berry Fresh Bowl with added toppings (1 dollar extra per topping) of chia seeds and coconut shreddings. My order came out pretty quick and it was so pretty to look at. The taste was great. Everything had a fresh clean taste to it. Nothing was over bearing the other flavors. Also, if you order something with milk in there you can you what milk to you. This place caters to your taste buds and reminds me of a place I use to go to in "The Bay" in California but instead of me paying 13 dollars for it it was only 8 dollars. It is also very filling so it is a good healthy way to replace your meals. Oh yeah I forgot to say that they make their own peanut butter and the spoons changes color. read more

I got hooked on acai bowls when I was in Hawaii this year and I'm excited to track then down locally and stopped by for a Beach bowl. Rush has a great acai base. Their menu lists a lot of fruits, but they seem to be blended into the base rather than on top. I could pick up on some of the individual flavors, so that was nice. Each bowl only comes with one extra topping, so loading your bowl could get a little pricey. The granola and peanut butter toppings were very nice, though. All in all, pretty good, and I'll probably go back for the avocado toast and protein bites. read more

I picked up a açaí bowl from Rush and was pleased. The base had a fresh hint of lemon flavor, and the granola, honey and blueberry topping was great! Service was fast and friendly and I look forward to trying more of their bowls and smoothies. read more

Rush Bowls is a solid addition to OSU's growing health food craze. Being that there is only one other smoothie bowl option on campus (south campus), Rush bowls has monopolized the north campus health scene. I had the Beach Bowl on my first stop at Rush. It was really good! The portions are huge for an açaí bowl. I could tell that the ingredients were super fresh and the staff was very helpful considering my lack of experience with açaí bowls. The Beach Bowl had just the right amount of honey on top of the heaping amount of granola to pull it all together. It was delicious. I know that these restaurants tend to be on the steeper side, but I definitely think you get what you pay for! One downside is that I was hungry again a couple hours later but it was an awesome breakfast option to get me going for the day! I will be back for sure. read more

Okay so I was never a firm believer in açaí bowls. I just thought they are overpriced and not that filling. Oh was I wrong after the bowl that I had! I was able to find street parking a block away but I think this location will do well because their main customers will be students who won't have cars. But my bowl was extremely filling. I actually was able to get two meals out of it because I ate it before and after a work out class. The bowl has protein in it, the cashier suggested I add peanut butter to it and it had a weight trimmer added to it as well. So it was very very nutritious. This place made me a fan of smoothies bowls and I will definitely be back. The staff was super helpful because I had never had one before so they helped me along every step of the way!! read more

Yummmm...Located in University District beside the Varsity Club, Rush Bowls is a must visit for a filling, healthy snack or meal replacement! The staff is super friendly and really fast which is perfect if you're popping in for breakfast or lunch and you're on the go. Smoothies are about $7 and bowls are $8 which is very reasonable for what you get. I ordered the Peach cobbler and it was spot on flavor and exactly the comfort option I was looking for on a dreary day. I opted to add fresh strawberries for more delish flavor (extra toppings are $1) ...oh, and they have color changing spoons and straws I also ordered a Berry Fresh bowl to go and the staff said to freeze it then let it thaw a bit for the perfect next day meal. I was sad this is the only location because I am never in this area but then I was told they are opening up 2 more!! (exact locations TBD but I went ahead an gave my verbal vote for Gahanna/Creekside) Definitely will be back with my hubby who is obsessed with smoothies right now and I highly recommend a pop-in if you're in the area, or even if you aren't it's worth it! read more

I had heard about the special summer smoothie, the Summer Mojo, and knew we would love to try it. So when we found ourselves in the area, we popped right in. While the physical line was short, it sounded like they had gotten hit with a pretty hefty number of online orders, and it was keeping the two staff members running around. Two off duty staff stopped in and immediately started assisting when they realized what their colleagues had on their hands. It was really nice to see their camaraderie and teamwork - it really speaks well of a place that has staff who are willing to pull together and as a customer, I was very appreciative of them jumping in. In the meantime, I was perusing the menu board and was intrigued to see they had a lot of new tasty options outside of the smoothie realm, including an avocado toast and Rush Bites, all of which sounded delightful and will be on my to try list for a future visit. There's also a cute pup bowl if you need a treat for your furry friend! And the Summer Mojo that called me in? Super refreshing for a hot day - lemonade, mint, strawberry, and blackberries. It hit the spot and is worth a return visit on its own! read more

Always happy when a new smoothie place opens up. It's small inside, but they do have some seating options if you want to eat inside. The menu here has a wide variety of smoothies and bowls. The bowls are categorized into 4 different categories. You can also add supplements and toppings to them for $1. The staff is super friendly happy to make recommendations. I tried the dragon bowl and added peanut butter and bananas on top. It was really good and the peanut butter is made fresh daily! They also have bowls for your dog and donate $1 to the humane society for every bowl purchased. Such a cute idea and my dog loved it!! If I lived on campus I would come here a lot, but due to lack of parking I don't see myself coming back too often. They did mention other locations in Columbus opening up, which would be great! read more

I really enjoyed my bowl! I wish I was on campus so I could make this a more frequent visit (Bridge St location, maybe?) but I'm happy I got to try it. I ordered the Peanut Butter and Jelly bowl with chocolate chips :) it looks small but you're full if you eat the entire thing. You can really make your bowl choice as healthy or unhealthy as you want. They have protein powders and supplements if you're into that and some additional add ins. It took a little bit to make my bowl, but the presentation was worth it. The location is definitely an issue so they will need to entice campus workers/students because I don't see the general public trying to figure out parking to come here, which is such a bummer because it really was great and I'm still daydreaming about my bowl. I lucked out with a meter, but campus parking is exhausting. I used to work at the SASB back in the day and I would have gone there daily if it had been around (probably healthier than me stress eating oreos while on the phone ). read more

What really makes a place stand out? Attitude of the owner is the #1 reason. The product has to be great in this day and age ,it's a given. This Rush Bowl has that . This seems like a great spot for anyone on OSU north campus who is a student or staff. The location is not ideal for others since there is no designated parking, just a few meters around the corner and other spots a bit of a walk away. It's also more of a to go type of place, since there was not more than maybe 5 seats inside. There are also blenders going which can be quite noisy in the small space. Now for the actual food, it seems really healthy and fresh! I ordered one of the açaí bowls and customized it by adding more toppings and the soy protein. It was heavy on the toppings, and a good sized bowl. I could not finish it. read more

I ordered Rush Bowls after seeing them listed under the Healthy option on DoorDash. I've honestly never heard of them which is weird because I work close to the Lane Ave location. I was looking for a Zest/Alchemy type place that had smoothie bowls and cold-pressed juices. While Rush does not have cold-pressed juices, they have a plethora of smoothie bowls! I got the Summit bowl and added whey protein, matcha green tea, and kale/spinach mix. It was delicious!! The granola and honey added a nice crunch and flavor with each bite. They have a hangover add on too which I'm interested to try after my next night out haha. Although I wish they offered cold-pressed juices, I'm stoked to try other smoothie bowls! read more

I wish I could give 4.5. I really like this place..its similar to berry blendz but their menu is a little more expanded. They offer smoothies made from scratch with fresh fruit, toppings, supplements and frozen yogurt. When I walked in the staff was super friendly and helpful with the menu. I ended up getting the paradise bowl with a weight loss supplement(they offer free supplement Saturday/Sunday), topped with granola and honey. It was very good. I really liked the granola and honey. The only reason it's a 4.5 and not a 5 is due to parking and seating. There is absolutely no seating or parking. So it's just like a walk in smoothie shop. They def should add a table or some high stools since there did appear to be a raised bar area. I look forward to going back to try maybe the spicy bowl or Acai bowl. read more

This place is pretty awesome! I came here via an invitation from Yelp! I am not sure I would've seen this place any other way. The customer service from the jump was just spectacular. They staff was super helpful and answered every question that I may have had. So that was a super plus for me. This smoothie even though it's tiny in stature is totally different from any other smoothie / juice place that I've visited in central Ohio. The huge selection of drinks, smoothies and smoothie bowls was quite overwhelming but if you let them know what it is that you are looking for. They will help guide you to the proper destination for your taste buds to settle at. I would hate to tell you what it was that I got in fear persuading you to go that way but I created my own concoction. So either you go off the menu or make your own. Everything here is super fresh and delicious. I had a few samples and the owner even let me walk out with some freshly made peanut butter. I also got a chance to speak with the owner who was super nice and further educated me on the whole premise of the establishment. read more

i can't see this having any longevity here. product is just ok. other 'smoothie based companies' have a better product and menu. i don't give it a full year of life. zero parking.... who wants to go to a destination only place to pay for parking a block + away then go get an $8 bowl? this is a destination place.... campus for traffic is very sparce here. it's not a 'game day' place either. only the limited foot traffic serves as the potential customer and that's a small group. from lane avenue you need to physically be searching to find out because of signage. zero restroom access. space is so misconfigured that even if you wanted to sit on one of those bar stools you'd block traffic. unimpressed. today was my third visit. i waited to write a review. i cannot say anything positive and this is after a total of three visits. i won't go back. read more

Yum!! If you're looking for a healthy breakfast spot or just a new smoothie bowl place make sure to go here! The menu is very large+diverse in terms of options of bowls, the staff is friendly and fast, and the prices are very reasonable. This is the only other smoothie bowl place I've been to besides zest, and I think I'll be going here from now on because it's a little cheaper but still high quality. The only small complaint I have is that there's only about 6 seats inside...I wish they had more options for seating. Zest is slightly more aesthetically pleasing but overall I'd say rush bowls is better because of the lower prices and larger menu. Definitely coming back! read more
