I walked in with post-pandemic box-dyed (black) hair which I dyed myself. She suggested balayage and I trusted her completely even though I have heard how hard it is to undo self-dyed black hair color and how unpredictably the color can lift. It came out amazingly! I am beyond thrilled and would trust her with any hair situation. The vibe of the salon was incredible, it was just an amazing experience overall. The Belmont area it is located in is very cute, the services were top notch yet affordable. It was a great atmosphere and experience. I am writing this review weeks after my appointment as I fall in love with my hairstyle and cut more and more everyday. Thank you, Hope! My hair feels healthy and is super easy to style.

I've been in the QC for 6 years now and I don't skip around for hair salons ever. I for years flew…read morehome to Chicago to get my hair done until I found a stylist in ATL which was an easier trip. I eventually found me a stylist in Charlotte whom I love and adore, however what's better than one stylist than two ? My original stylist (who I go to for certain things ) wasn't available for around my Bday and wedding renewal as she had to do hair for a Elle mag shoot, so I told my teenager I think I'm screwed so she went on a search for me on IG and found this salon and another one but after reading the site for this salon I wanted in. I started doing my research per stylist and tried to get an appointment for the ones I pulled up that I liked and they were all booked for months out. I was almost defeated until I saw the newbie on their site who had books wide open. I was super skeptical thinking if she is so available maybe she isn't good. I decided to take a leap of faith and check her out two weeks before my wedding for a trial style and I let her know my thoughts during my consultation which is required by the way. When I say Kandice ROCKED my hair I mean it. She is amazing and very sweet. The salon is clean, the staff all work together & seem to adore one another. If they don't I'm glad they know how to keep it professional. I ended up back here on my Bday which was 4 days before my 10 year wedding renewal and my stylist knew it was my bday. When I headed up front to pay I looked down into my wallet and by the time I looked up all the stylist were surrounding me singing a Lucky Salon original Bday song. It made my morning complete I felt the love. Amazing place with amazing people and wonderful stylist. P.S I had a coloring session that Bday morning by Ms.Cynthia. She colored me before I got styled by my stylist Candice. Cynthia is a great lady as well and very nice.

I always like to get blowouts, and my hair is very thick and (4c) curly naturally, and not to mention I've always been very tender head, so this has always been a struggle for me. But the best experience I've had so far getting my hair done has been at this salon, and I've actually managed to sit through it without wanting to die--so major points. I also ruined my nails that morning before my appointment, and I figured to try getting acrylics for the first time since it was Valentine's Day--and I have to say I loved my nails! The nail artist even added some little hearts onto them and they were so cute! I might have to start getting my nails done more often, so when I do I know who I'll want to go to! :D

I spoke with Mare, who's amazing by the way, and she suggested I try Ashiatu massage. I had never heard the term before. "Ashi" means foot. Therefore, it's a barefoot massage that involves using bare feet to apply strokes, assisted stretching the muscles. It's freaking awesome. I'm totally weirded out by feet, but I needed this. It the room looks all BDSMish, but it's totally not. She uses drilled poles to steady herself. I was so apprehensive but excited at the same time. Mare's sweet disposition put me at ease. I really valued my experience because I didn't think about her bare feet. I was relieved and listened to the flute and waves. If you're open and want to try a different type of massage, then this is a viable option. Did I mention they take FSA/HSA, too? Check of their list if serves. It seems they have a host of great medspa offerings such as IV Hydration, Sauna, inferred, and salon services.

When it came to the cut, unfortunately there was a language barrier which I did not account for. Therefore she ended up cutting my hair more than I wanted. The place itself looks old in the inside but I wasn't about the aesthetic it was about convenience and the cut. Convenience of last minute appointments was an At but overall cut was not great. I was also looking for a cheaper alternative to my normal price of 80.00 but I got charged 100.00 for a wash and trim. Unfortunately not what I was looking for at all
