The wife wanted to browse for another pair of running sneakers and a place called Runner's Edge seem like a good chance to find the right fit. The staff was instantly offering assistance in the sneaker section which included common big brands with several styles like Hoka, Mizuno, On Cloud, New Balance, Nike, Asics and Brooks. Prices are on the high price end, and most of the sneakers are NOT discounted on Amazon. The store had a 50% clearance display with a variety of sneakers. Plenty of running gear and clothing offered throughout the store. The center of the business was split with a Tennis Anyone? store with the obvious inventory and a thoughtful combination for similar athletes. read more

I get excited every time I see a runner's store since they usually have a good supply of sneakers. The employee was fitting another customer and he quickly waved over another employee to assist me finding a certain On Cloud running sneaker in a different model than I already had and the price was $160 which is normal. read more

It's always intimidating walking into a running store because there is such a large assortment of products. It's overwhelming to say the least. This store is huge and has many products in store for runners, which was exactly what my boyfriend was looking for. First we were helped by an older gentleman who seemingly had no patience. We didn't mind waiting our turn, but this man clearly had no interest in helping a younger couple. My boyfriend was explaining his issue with his current running shoes, and the man kept telling him it was in his head and kept shoving a pair of shoes (he already said he didn't want) at him. I was asking about a few different styles or colors, and the man was flustered and did not want to look. He wanted to go help another woman who had just walked in. Finally, another sales associates stepped in who was PHENOMENAL. He was knowledgeable , listened to my boyfriend's concern, gave suggestions, and even brought out a catalogue. He was able to help us find the exact pair we were looking for and ordered it online. Also, getting free socks for checking in on Yelp was a big plus! Overall, I think this store is amazing. While the first employee clearly needed a vacation, the second employee made the experience wonderful. read more

You are wearing the WRONG SHOE SIZE! I promise you that this is the case. Harrie will tell you that you are wearing the wrong shoe size and he will not stop trying different shoes on your feet until you get the perfect, for your feet,fit on your shoes. We came here at the recommendation of our physical therapist. My 11 yr old son is both a very good runner and prone to "toe walking." We needed shoes for him that could hug his feet, give him good sensory input and provide support for him to not only be a better athlete but most importantly help him to grow into his grown up adult body. Without picking up bad habits like poor posture, etc Thank G*d there are stores out there like this one still. Like everyone I bought our shoes online. Never again. Wasted $ and literally not good for your overall health. We had them throw away the shoes my son wore into the store bc they were complete garbage! We spent over $500 on three pairs of shoes but this is not a thing to economize on. Do yourself and your body a favor and come to this store and have Harrie put you in a great pair of shoes. He wasn't pushy at all, and he took the time to listen to what I had to say. I felt very comfortable inside the store, and I am very happy with the product I purchased. I have been distance running for several years, and I have never been in a shoe store with customer service on this level. Poor customer service. Went in to ask for help with a new shoe fitting or advice because i was getting blisters with what I was wearing. The guy said I already had good shoes and good socks so he couldn't recommend anything. I asked about perhaps a narrower heel shoe (why do I have to recommend anything here). He said sure but there's no way to tell if that will help. And proceeded to tell me about how he got blisters once. Sorry I don't care. I'm there asking for help from an 'expert'. Left and went to Fleet Feet. Got gait etc analyzed and new shoes. Who knows if that will work but at least I feel heard and found good customer service. I won't go back to this store. I moved here from up north where I would drive an hour to my favorite running store (passing a couple other running stores) just for a pair of sneakers. I have some issues with my feet and I decided to give this store a try. I brought with me my old shoes and two pair of inserts that I use for different situations - everything I thought I needed so I could help them help me. Well I went in and a young girl named Emma helped me. I didn't even need to show her what I brought (even though she kindly took it all in). She listened to what my issues were and went above and beyond to make sure she accommodated me in a way that I would be comfortable in my new sneakers. She even came up with a whole new idea and took pleasure in it. I have never had anyone 'get it right' on the first visit except this store and this caring young lady. I had a situation last Sunday when an employee , over a pair of socks mins you , had an attitude which made me return $300 worth of goods at runners edge. When the owner was informed of what happened ,the owner immediately called me apologizing for the employees behavior and professionalism. The owner apologized and said if there anything he could do for me in the future. Please contact him personally. This made me realize that this store is all about service and rectifying a customer issue. Yes , they do have a great variety with good quality merchandise. I will be back when I have a chance. A great place for Boca Raton and area runners! This store has been very good to me! The knowledgeable and friendly staff has done an outstanding job at advising me on the best running shoes for my running style. Most recently, Brian, one of the sales associates, patiently assisted my father and I as we tried on several pairs of shoes and used the treadmill to gauge pronation/supination. Needless to say it was because of his help that we both were able to find "the right" pair of shoes. Beyond the knowledgeable sales support, this organization does a great job at getting people excited to run. I thoroughly enjoy the "fun runs" on Thursdays as well as the Marathon training program on Saturdays. Very glad that this place is here in the neighborhood! Do yourself a favor and stop by if you are serious about running. A great way to get injured is by running in the wrong shoe. What a find it is to walk into a brick and mortar store and have knowledgeable runners and tennis players who not only sell but also utilize their sneakers and other products. Yes, you can buy sneakers online but for the extra 10-20% I'd rather listen to an expert in person who can add to the overall experience and educate / mitigate potential physical ailments in future. I was professionally fit for the perfect pair of running shoes. They checked my old shoes for wear pattern, looked at my feet, watched me walk, measured my feet. They took my weight into account, and that I was training for a marathon. I was recommend neutral shoes with a lot of cushioning. We tried on these kind of shoes from several manufactures.
