The instructors are motivating, knowledgeable, and create such a positive, energizing atmosphere. Every class feels like a great workout without ever feeling intimidating. What really sets this place apart, though, is the kids club. As a parent, it's such a game changer to know my kids are happy, safe, and well cared for while I take time for myself. It makes working out feel easy and enjoyable instead of stressful. On top of all that, the people are amazing both staff and members. There's such a welcoming, friendly vibe that makes it feel more like a community than just a gym. And the location couldn't be better. If you're looking for a gym that checks every box such as beautiful space, incredible classes, family-friendly, and genuinely great people. Edgemont Athletic is it.

HORRIBLE treatment by staff today, NOT luxury service, AVOID…read more I had asked to be connected to the manager of the club during the phone call to Adress the situation privately but Raeann said over the phone he (manager?) was on vacation for a long time and refused. I wanted to address the horrible treatment i received today not only from Raeann, but from the front desk girl as well as the one that called me in to the office upon arrival. I signed up through the mind body app, and scheduled my yoga class through there. I got to the desk 10 mins before the class as that is what the class description said. I was then told to wait and have some other girl frantically tell me shes so rushed now to get me registered, which i thought was done already through the app. This meeting she all but blamed me and made me feel as though i was a burden to her, and that this was not how it was supposed to be. Again, nowhere does this say this when booking through mind body that there needs to be a tour and such prior to me scheduling anything. After class, i left, and checked if i had a phone number for the facility, i only had a text from Raeann, which i have attached here, again, no mention of a 1 hr needed for tour and processing etc. In her text, i will note however, in the berating phone call after, she did lie and say she had called so many times and explained over voicemail, which did not happen. I texted Raeann back as attached below, to which she berated me (in her calm, soft spoken voice as she continued to say, while talking down to me) talk over me, and say she didn't want me in her club when i asked to speak to a manager because her behaviour was an insane way to treat anyone, let alone a new member. She then back peddled and again, blamed me for having a bad day and was taking it out on her (when she called me to seemingly blame a new member with a valid concern that i calmly, privately tried to address ?) She lied saying she called multiple times, when she called once and texted me. She also lied about her manager being on vacation, as when i called the front desk, they said he would be in on Monday. Her attitude over the phone was horrible, her condescending way of speaking was uncalled for and her threats of telling everyone about me, and not letting anyone else speak to me, is absolutely insane. I would like to speak to anyone above her as soon as possible. Thanks. If this is how this place is run, DO NOT GO HERE.

During Covid I started homeschooling my kids. I quickly stopped making fitness a priority. I had been wresting with getting back to a gym when management reached out about coming back to try a class. All it took was one class - I forgot how much I loved it! A gal recently asked me why I returned, and I told her that I was now the slowest, weakest, and fattest I've been in years, so I decided to return to the place that I know gets the job done! With hard work, perseverance, and stellar coaching staff, I'm starting to see my body transform. This place brings out my inner athlete and my competitive side, but it's not about comparing myself to others - every time I look in the mirror it's me against me. I've promised myself that I'm going to keep coming until I see the person in the mirror who reflects the person I want to be. I want to give a shout out to Matt and Khrista (the studio owners). You not only fill your studios with motivating, caring trainers, you genuinely care about people's health and wellness. You have created a community that people are excited to be part of and a place they enjoy working out it. Michelle Parks

The owner is lucky Ava is such a great employee and even though certain things could have been handled better, she should be the sole manager of this place. The owner does not care about his members, does not update equipment and truly does the most bare minimum. I am giving two stars (not one) because of Ava's support the last few weeks. Owner, don't own a gym if you don't care about the people paying your bills. Big thumbs down.

They were saying my payments to them were declining for non suffice funds (which isn't true cause I have lots of money in my account) but they had now problem 3 days later and took an extra $20 extra because of their NSF fees. The setup is less conducive to some exercises, such as wall balls, and the TRX rope space is limited, but they also have some atypical equipment for a Fit Body, such as freestanding punching bags and foam barriers for jumping exercises. It is also worth noting that they have several slightly cool water fountains, for people like me that never remember to bring water. I believe that this location is owned by the same folks as the Bridgeland (East) location, and the typical workout formula follows the same superset structure: reps for each of the major muscle groups in sequence, followed by a short rest, then rinse and repeat. This is done mostly using your own body weight, and gives you both cardio and strength training. Almost anyone can do these workouts, because it can be as easy or as hard as you make it. If you're the type of person who works harder with instructor encouragement and/or small group camaraderie, this bootcamp is a good choice.

Okay listen aside from the kind of, well, very high pressure sales tactics they used to get me in…read morehere, nothing they said was invalid and at the end of the day, they were mostly right about everything and I've been 100% happy with my experience. Every gym employs these same sales tactics so, at this point it's nothing new. And besides, if you didn't have someone telling you to get your butt to the gym you probably wouldn't go to start with. My story: I have a triple curve scoliosis in my spine. I've been living with back pain my whole adult life and it was starting to make me very miserable, chronic pain all the time. After chatting about this with my sales consultant they recommended Josh Deck as my personal trainer to address this issue and also my weight loss goals albeit they're the lesser of the two issues. I will say this, the small price I've paid to see him 12 times has resolved my daily back pain 100%. He's got me working hard but also being realistic about what I can manage in my day to day life and routine. It's been so helpful in fact I'm going to keep training with him for as long as I can. I cant say enough great things about Josh as a trainer but I am a special case, training may not be useful for everyone but certainly useful if you've got goals, timelines or a special case injury. The facility: has everything you need and the group classes are included in your very basic monthly membership and they have a very rich schedule to suit everyone's needs. Things are clean and there is always a cardio machine even at 5PM! ALSO - If you have kids, they have a day care facility right in the gym for a tiny little $4 fee for 2 hours. I came to this same Worldhealth in 2005 and left because at the time it was very male centric and desperately needed renos. Which now, the renos are great, layout is functional, they replace broken things quickly, change rooms are nice and honestly the staff know my name and are super helpful and friendly to me all the time. The price is competitive. The location is easy to get to. Free no hassle parking. All girls room which is nice for those awkward times. The demographic is also completely mixed in age, gender and body types. I'm happy and would recommend it to friends for sure :)
