Hidden 'Dog friendly' Gem in Coconut Creek! I highly recommend checking out Rule G Brewing in Coconut Creek if you're into craft beer, live music, good food, and a friendly atmosphere where your dog is welcome inside. It's a hidden spot that's been open since January, and it's a real hidden gem. I visited for the 3rd time last night and stumbled upon their ugly sweater and most festive dog contest, which was adorable! Our goldendoodle even got second place. You can find it a few doors down in the corner from Duffy's on Hillsboro/Lyons. The owners and bartenders are incredibly caring, so I wanted to give them a big shoutout. We'll definitely be back!

Rule G Brewing is a great local addition to Coconut Creek. A great selection of local craft beer and delicious down to earth food. I'm partial to the Witbier but everything tasted good. They also have seltzers for the non-beer crowd. The sign out front had lots of events and live music listed. I'll be back and I think it's a must try for the local crowd!

First time here. Great place. Really comfortable, relaxing, really nice people ... Will be back soon..

Cheers!

If you're looking for "brew-tiful" time with live music, sports, painting events, trivia, and more, hop aboard a smooth ride on the Rule G express! This railroad-themed brewery takes your flavor pallet for a ride through delicious & fun named beers, such as "Coconut Creek Station", "Ghost Train", "Trestle Trail", and their "Get Rail'd" hard seltzers. When it's time for a bite, their full-menu kitchen offers some of the best flavors that pairs well with their extensive brew selections. You're sure to have a rail good time at Rule G, no boarding pass required.

This was the first place we have brought our dog to. They were very friendly in bringing Rocky water and treats. The food was great and the service was friendly. Pretty quiet place for relaxing.

Went here after work because I live nearby and my buddies were performing live music. Great atmosphere, beer, food, and quick service. Sadly, I got there 10 minutes before the kitchen closed, so I didn't get the chance to try other food, but the chicken chorizo queso dip was amazing. I ate the whole thing myself in 10 minutes LOL, and I forgot to take a picture of it it looked so good I was only focusing on eating it. Definitely recommend coming here from time to time for a few beers and bar food.

Rule G Brewing is our fav local place to hang out. We are so grateful to finally have a good place for craft beer nearby. This place is nice and chill and the staff are very friendly. Towards the end of each week they usually have live music most nights. In addition to some great beers (Coconut Creek Station wheat and their mango wheat are my favorites), the food is also really good. I would say their signature menu item is the cheddar waffle BLT. I've tried a couple of their seltzers also and they're tasty and refreshing. Sometimes we take our dog and I love that we can as obviously that's not possible at most places and it just makes it more fun and relaxing to be able to all hang out together. It's harder for us to get out in the week but we're hoping to do their regular karaoke night and a paint and sip event at some point. I've said it already but we're just so happy there is now a brewery out west, it's turned out so well and I never would have expected the food would also be exg

Pompano Beach Brewing Company keeps me coming back! We…read morestopped in for a couple of beers and--once again--they did not disappoint. My husband ordered a porter and I went with a crisp pilsner. Both were spot on. This is a true local's spot, and I absolutely love how welcoming it always feels. You can tell it's the kind of place where regulars gather and newcomers instantly feel like regulars. We grabbed food from the food truck outside and it was ahhhmazing. Everything paired perfectly with our drinks. Already looking forward to our next visit!

Looking for a lowkey way to spend your evening in Pompano / Coconut Creek but don't want to break…read morethe bank and still have fun? This is your spot. My husband and I have lived in the area for a few years now and only recently stumbled upon Pompano Beach Brewing Company. They're inside of a plaza of warehouses so definitely off the beaten path. There's ample seating inside with both high and low tops, bar seating and couches. The bartender behind the counter was friendly and helpful in making our selections. I shared with him what I usually look for in a beer and his recommendations were spot on. What's nice about Pompano Beach Brewing Company is that they have events everyday and have built a nice little community. They boast a run club and food trucks daily. The specific night we went was a college football evening so wings were $1 with a minimum order of 10. They were absolutely delicious! I'm hoping to attend their run club one week if I can make it work with my work schedule but regardless of that we'll definitely be back for a chill evening of beer and darts.

We then shared the spicy tuna taco & the sushi burger. Both had very fresh ingredients, but I expected the taco to have a bit more flavor to. It was just standard cubed fish with some spicy mayo drizzled on top--I'm used to having the tuna tossed in the sauce prior. The main reason for our visit was the sushi burger, which certainly did not disappoint. The two crispy rice buns were cooked perfectly and made for a great base for the fresh fillings within. These often sell out, so be sure to check if they're still available when you arrive. Can't wait to try them again!

Pile High Nachos with Birria -- The Sloppy Nacho -- 3/10 (2 Stars on Yelp)…read more I only review nachos. Not the room, not the drinks, just the plate. Papamigos gave me the best looking plate of nachos I've ever been served, and one of the worst to actually eat. It arrives as a mountain, and credit where it's due, nobody has ever set a better looking plate of nachos in front of me. Colored chips, birria up the sides, drizzle over the peak. It's a fiesta. It's genuinely beautiful. It's also called Pile High, which in hindsight was the menu warning me, and me ordering it anyway. Stupid Nacho Man. The thing about a pile is it has exactly one move: down. Every good thing, the fresh pico, the peppers that actually have real heat, all of it, is stacked on the summit. So you get three glorious bites of a real nacho and then you're off the mountain and into the badlands. Dry chips on one side, cold cheese swamp on the other, no peppers in sight. The party was on top and you already ate it. Depression sets in. Somewhere under all that queso is a chip that knows what happened to Jimmy Hoffa. Here's the real tragedy. The queso is actual flowing nacho cheese, and there is an absolute ass load of it. Nineteen plates I've spent begging South Florida to use real nacho cheese, and Papamigos finally did, then dumped so much on that it drowned the pico, the peppers, and the meat. I'm not saying the kitchen was in a hurry (I was the only person there), I'm saying someone back there said "f*** it" like John McClane going off the Nakatomi roof and dumped an ocean of molten cheese on this thing. I am not exaggerating for effect. I wish I were. And the whole thing came out room temperature. Only two things on that plate were hot, the queso and the meat, and they had to warm an entire mountain by themselves while a pile of cold chips mugged them for their heat. They lost that battle faster than France surrendering (in about two minutes.) The shredded cheese at the bottom never melted at all, because it was sitting under a cold pile on a plastic boat you can't exactly slide into an oven. Check the photos, there's a queso stalactite hanging off the rim. It formed on the way to the table and was still hanging there twenty minutes later, purely out of spite. Then there's the meat. I ordered the birria. Five dollar upcharge, it's on the receipt. What showed up was pot roast. Gray, no chile, no adobo, none of what makes birria birria. Check the photos and compare it to a real one. I'm not going to tell you what's in anybody's head. I'll just say the menu said birria, the receipt charged me for birria, and the plate said pot roast. You do the math. Credit where it's due, the server took twenty percent off without me asking. Though the birria upcharge was five bucks and the discount was four-forty, so I still paid for the pot roast. Just at a slight discount. I did not finish it. I've left plates before when they beat me on sheer volume, and honestly that's a compliment. This one I walked away from with room left in the tank. I left still hungry, and I would rather be hungry. Twenty-two dollars for a third of a plate. Four peppers a fire does not make. This dish is a dumpster fire without the heat. All of it is fixable. Heat the chips, layer it instead of stacking it, ease up on the queso, and put actual birria on the birria. Until then, I'm giving this a hard pass. -- Florida Nacho Man
