I'm a local and have been coming here for years , even back during COVID when the owner was out front selling beers. I've supported this place for a long time, and it's become one of my go-to spots. The food is consistently great, the beer selection is solid, and the overall atmosphere is usually exactly what you want from a neighborhood brewery.
That's why this visit was especially frustrating.
They offer a TouchTunes setup, which is a fun feature and part of what makes the place feel lively. I paid to queue up a few songs, expecting to enjoy them like everyone else. Instead, the system was paused shortly after, and none of my songs played. I ended up paying for three songs I didn't get to hear, with no acknowledgment or resolution.
If you're going to offer a paid music service, there should be some tolerance for variety in what guests choose, that's the whole point. Otherwise, it feels misleading to have it available at all.
It's not a huge issue in the grand scheme, but it definitely took away from the experience, especially as someone who's been supporting this place for years. I'll still be back, but hoping this gets handled better moving forward. read more
