From there they tried to sell me another service. I was not against the other service that they offered, but i wanted to hear more in detail about it. The bad experience stated here. I asked to speak to the tech about it, and they refused to let me speak to the tech and give me more detail on what i was paying for. and it left a bad taste and my mouth but i took it for a grain of salt and assumed i was over reacting. later in the day after receiving my car back my girl noticed that our seat would no longer adjust and the button for the seat was pushed in. I then called the shop to find solution. they then tried to charge me another 100 diagnostic to check the situation rather then just looking at the seat that was damaged after. I took it to the shop to talk to the owner and he yelled in my face as i remained professional and calm as i had my work gear on and could not make my employer look bad,and i have it all recorded. At parts i asked him why is he yelling when i remained calm. He then digressed and then went back to yelling. Probably the most frustrating experiencing i ever had. It was like talking to a controlling parent. I won't bash the shop because i'm sure they do good work. but working with a company that has integrity is important and this is just not that shop. i also noticed that another customer had a similar experience.

I ended up paying a little over $1200 for the diagnosis which also included a charge of $250 for spark plugs, $250 for radiator coolant flush and $250 for brake fluid flush. The technicians diagnosed the problem as a knock and I needed to replace the engine but with nothing to back up their diagnosis. I went to another shop and got the same diagnosis, again, with the same diagnosis and nothing to back up or guide me to the problem. Finally, I called Angel Car Medic (via Yelp) and got a very detailed diagnostic report including cylinder pressures. They pulled the spark plugs and showed me how bad they were - even after just being replaced. Long story short, the diagnosis Christian Brothers provided was correct but they charged way too much for the other services. I was so stupid to select them for this!

They were kind initially and gracious to get our business, but once our car got to their facility their tone changed. We already knew we had a transmission problem, hence the reason we sought them out. But it took them FOUR days to diagnose the problem. Once they did so, they gave us an exorbitant price. After consulting, we decided to go elsewhere as their price was more than twice the amount of other companies. Of course they were upset and proceeded to charge us $495 to diagnose our car! And then told us we couldn't pick up the car until the following week! Anyhow, over the weekend we thought we'd give them another opportunity and try to get them to come up with other options. Scott was VERY rude and told us he didn't have time to waste. He did come down on price a bit and though it was still much more than our other quote, it wasn't worth it to move the vehicle since they were charging us $500. But then rude Scott insisted we pay them in full BEFORE they would do any work. I was livid! What mechanic shop insists they receive payment before completing the work?? When I attempted to discuss this with them he proceeded to tell me that he didn't believe we could afford to pay for the work so he wanted money upfront. My insurance company wanted me to take it to a transmission specialist to see if the wreck caused any further damage. We take it to this place on a Monday and get a rental. By Wednesday they figure out the damages are not caused by my wreck and that I just need a new transmission. We tell them to do the repairs. They tell us it will be ready on Friday. Friday comes. No car. Same with Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. During this time we call everyday and after complaining they say they will help us out with rental by getting it down to $20/day and then covering it since Monday. 11 days later my car is ready. My husband picks it up and when I get home I notice part of gr undercarriage is hanging off up front and part of the section which was covered by a piece of plastic is completely missing. Oh. And they didn't get our rental down the $20/day that both myself and my husband were promised. And the only thing discounted was $150 for rental. Total bill $2500 and our rental was over $450. And my damn SUV still isn't 100% back to what it was. All I want is my cars appearance back to 100% normal.
