When we had the patio constructed we had them stamp a pattern and apply permanent staining. Demoing any of the patio would leave it unsightly. I called John (plumber license 978173) who was a completely unknown company for me but I was desperate. He arrived within the hour. Said he could replace the entire pipe and not have to demo any of the patio. The price he quoted was also far lower than my usual plumber was quoting. I had John do the work and I am thrilled with the results. As he promised, he did not demo any of the patio. He was even able to run the replacement pipe under the sidewalk without having to demo any of that either. I have since found that he is a very good handyman. I have called him for several other jobs and have always been happy with the results and price.

Since he is a handyman and not a licensed plumber, I was thinking that he will charge me less than a bona fide plumber and I bought all the parts for him. But he charged me $180.00 for fixing the leak and assemble the shelves which lowes charge $20.00 for 2 shelves. So he charged me $160.00 for fixing the leak and I bought the parts. He seems to be capable handyman but do not make the same mistake on assuming that he will charge less than a professional plumber or shelf assembler.
