Hubbs and I have always wanted to go zip-lining, but the timing or the price never seemed quite right....until now. Here, it was about $85 (plus tip for the guides) for a 45-minute experience with six zip lines total, which felt like a great value for finally checking this off the bucket list. From the start, the staff set the tone. Bree handled our check-in and could not have been sweeter. They must go out of their way to hire great people because every single person we interacted with was incredibly nice and welcoming. Our actual zip-line guides were Quincy and Audrey, and they were fantastic. Super friendly, clearly experienced, and calm, which was exactly what I needed as a nervous first-timer. The zip-lining itself is kind of a blur--it went by fast--but the last line was the standout, soaring a bit over the lake. I'm glad I finally did it. Not sure I need to do it again, but I have zero regrets. One tip: go in the morning before the heat kicks in. There is a little bit of hiking between lines, and in that afternoon sun, it felt like a sauna in a helmet. Still, a fun adventure and a great memory. Definitely one of the most enjoyable zip lining I've ever had. The views are awesome. The hosts (Ash and Hunter) are very entertaining!! The tour has 6 zip lines, and one of them is above the lake. I don't believe they let you take your phones, but they'll take pics and video for you. You'll need to buy them, but honestly it's reasonably priced. They'll explain this to you, but most people (including me) were taken aback by the braking system. It's an auto-brake, so you don't have to manually brake like in the other zip lines. You'll think like you're not stopping, but you will, and the host will be there to catch you. So just enjoy the ride and try not to think too much about braking. I also heard they have a night tour that will probably be open during the later half of the year. Will definitely come back and try that! read more

For my first time zip lining, this was so much fun. The team that trained and zipped with us was professional while being funny, friendly and engaging. They really made the trips much better. They did a great job going over the safety and getting us geared up. There were 6 zip lines, each one better than the last with the last one being over the lake. They took pics while we were doing the zips, which were fairly reasonable for the entire package at the end of the trip. Braking was automated so doing the lines was pretty effortless. You just had to make sure to land on the steps! It was fun and a great deal. read more

RUGARU 4 THE WIN!! After searching for local activities in the area to do the day after Christmas, we settled on zip-lining with RUGARU Adventures. Our daughters and son-in-law had a blast! Then they discreetly weighed each of them to confirm they were within the limits. Once the rest of their party arrived they were suited up and heading out for their adrenaline rush. Broken Bow is the place we choose for our July 4th vacation as most of my friends are in Dallas and its just 3 hr drive. After our water adventures ,chose the zip Line.It was our first time hence it was pretty exciting.The Tour guides were pretty good and helpful. The zip line has like 6 zip lanes each one with different height,length (longest takes 12sec)and speeds. But the frustrating part is wait time at each point as we have to wait for whole group to complete as same 2 tour guides will help us at all the 6 lanes traveling along with us. It takes total of 1hr 45 min. The last zip lane is the longest which gives a good view of the lake.This costed us 75$ per person and the pictures will cost 40$ for the group.Our pictures were not great and felt over priced as they click with Mobile. I went to Rugaru Adventures and after filling out the necessary paperwork off We went where we suit up we were met with Kye and Riley. To upper class Pros with Excellent attitude and professionalism and First class safety. After a brief ride and walk" please be ready for it to be up hill" we zipped down 6 lines with the last view over water. Bring a go pro ,make sure to tie it down good cause once you drop it it's gone for good. Beautiful ride and Kye and Riley make it a safe and comfortable ride. If your out for a small real thrill in the morning noon or afternoon then this is the place to get that morning adrenalin rush before you do your daily foot stomping from the stressful life that everyday living kicks your way, you'll feel like you can take on anything.
