Hubbs and I have always wanted to go zip-lining, but the timing or the price never seemed quite right....until now. Here, it was about $85 (plus tip for the guides) for a 45-minute experience with six zip lines total, which felt like a great value for finally checking this off the bucket list. From the start, the staff set the tone. Bree handled our check-in and could not have been sweeter. They must go out of their way to hire great people because every single person we interacted with was incredibly nice and welcoming. Our actual zip-line guides were Quincy and Audrey, and they were fantastic. Super friendly, clearly experienced, and calm, which was exactly what I needed as a nervous first-timer. The zip-lining itself is kind of a blur--it went by fast--but the last line was the standout, soaring a bit over the lake. I'm glad I finally did it. Not sure I need to do it again, but I have zero regrets. One tip: go in the morning before the heat kicks in. There is a little bit of hiking between lines, and in that afternoon sun, it felt like a sauna in a helmet. Still, a fun adventure and a great memory. The group size they limit it to is about 10, so no real wait time between lines. read more

My niece and I love the ziplining at Rugaru Adventures. The staff are all very professional and helpful. The experience is very fitting for Broken Bow Lake because part of the zipline goes over one of the coves at thelake and the scenery is just breathtaking. I highly recommend Rugaru Adventures when visiting Hochatown. read more

I can't say enough good things about our zip lining experience with Audrey and Riley. From start to finish, everything was simple, safe, and very fun! Audrey and Riley struck the perfect balance between professional and personable, keeping us safe and laughing the entire time. The course itself was beautiful and the platforms were all well-maintained and secure. You can tell the staff really knows what they're doing. Whether you're a total beginner or a seasoned adventurer, I highly recommend this experience. Huge thanks to Audrey and Riley for making it such a memorable day celebrating our Golden Girl's birthday! read more

What a fun adventure!! AJ and Carli were great leads! We will be back next Thanksgiving!

My kids had absolutely the BEST time with Quinten and Austin today. The check in was super smooth since we had waivers filled out ahead of time. Photos were great and they want to go ziplining again soon! read more

Wish we could go again! Make sure you have reservations in advance. The zip lines were fun and everything felt safe. The guides were kind of socially awkward but they tried to add a little humor. Beautiful views over the lake. read more

Definitely one of the most enjoyable zip lining I've ever had. The views are awesome. The hosts (Ash and Hunter) are very entertaining!! The tour has 6 zip lines, and one of them is above the lake. I don't believe they let you take your phones, but they'll take pics and video for you. You'll need to buy them, but honestly it's reasonably priced. They'll explain this to you, but most people (including me) were taken aback by the braking system. It's an auto-brake, so you don't have to manually brake like in the other zip lines. You'll think like you're not stopping, but you will, and the host will be there to catch you. So just enjoy the ride and try not to think too much about braking. I also heard they have a night tour that will probably be open during the later half of the year. Will definitely come back and try that! read more

For my first time zip lining, this was so much fun. The team that trained and zipped with us was professional while being funny, friendly and engaging. They really made the trips much better. They did a great job going over the safety and getting us geared up. There were 6 zip lines, each one better than the last with the last one being over the lake. They took pics while we were doing the zips, which were fairly reasonable for the entire package at the end of the trip. Braking was automated so doing the lines was pretty effortless. You just had to make sure to land on the steps! It was fun and a great deal. read more

SUCH AN AMAZING EXPERIENCE! We had Trenyce and Case as our guides and they were awesome, kind, and very laid back! RUGARU 4 THE WIN!! After searching for local activities in the area to do the day after Christmas, we settled on zip-lining with RUGARU Adventures. Our daughters and son-in-law had a blast! From the moment we arrived, the staff was friendly and super laidback. Their paperless system was quick and easy to navigate. Then they discreetly weighed each of them to confirm they were within the limits. Once the rest of their party arrived they were suited up and heading out for their adrenaline rush. The guides were awesome and made their experience even more fun. The store is very open and clean and there is plenty of parking. Overall, our kids had a fabulous time and we enjoyed hearing them giggle and talk about their adventure all evening. For a parent there is nothing more special. Thanks for knocking it out of the park RUGARU!! read more

Super cool adventure ! It was pricey but worth it. Our zip tour guides nice. Thomas was great!! It lasted less than the advertised 2hrs. It was more like 1.30 if at that. My one and only complaint is that we ask if we should have our phones and they said at our own risk but they take pictures. At the end we went to purchase our pictures 3 pictures each and ALL blurry or soooo pixelated it was sad because we don't have pictures of the adventure. read more

Went with family of all ages. It was very fun and succeeded in getting the teenagers to put their devices down.

Absolutely great experience. If I could give it 6 stars, I would! If possible, ask for Adrian, Channah, and Ethan!! They were so much fun to hang out with and will make you laugh the ENTIRE time! read more

My husband and I came here for our third wedding anniversary and it did not disappoint! Besides the awful heat, this was an experience I would love to do again. Our guides were awesome too. Caleb and Riley were both entertaining and made sure to do the routes as quickly as they could to avoid standing in the heat too long. Did 6 ziplines to end our trip and was best part! Last one was a quarter mile over water, AWESOME!! Cody & Avalon? Were great guides! Felt totally safe. Would recommend! read more

Broken Bow is the place we choose for our July 4th vacation as most of my friends are in Dallas and its just 3 hr drive. After our water adventures ,chose the zip Line.It was our first time hence it was pretty exciting. The Tour guides were pretty good and helpful. The zip line has like 6 zip lanes each one with different height, length (longest takes 12sec)and speeds. But the frustrating part is wait time at each point as we have to wait for whole group to complete as same 2 tour guides will help us at all the 6 lanes traveling along with us. It takes total of 1hr 45 min. The last zip lane is the longest which gives a good view of the lake. This costed us 75$ per person and the pictures will cost 40$ for the group. Our pictures were not great and felt over priced as they click with Mobile. Pros: Good Tour Guides Water is provided Cons: Wait Time at each Zip Line Cost Pictures are not by automated camera. read more

Nice..na. more like Awesome. I wanted to do something I hadn't done in a long time, zipline. I went to Rugaru Adventures and after filling out the necessary paperwork off We went where we suit up we were met with Kye and Riley. To upper class Pros with Excellent attitude and professionalism and First class safety. After a brief ride and walk" please be ready for it to be up hill" we zipped down 6 lines with the last view over water. Bring a go pro ,make sure to tie it down good cause once you drop it it's gone for good. Beautiful ride and Kye and Riley make it a safe and comfortable ride. If your out for a small real thrill in the morning noon or afternoon then this is the place to get that morning adrenalin rush before you do your daily foot stomping from the stressful life that everyday living kicks your way, you'll feel like you can take on anything. I'm not sure if you can ask for them by name but it's worth a shot. Kye and Riley thanks for making this old man feel life one more time. read more

Had a great time zip linking here, Our guides (ash and Isaac) were great and knew how to break the ice fast.
