At first we almost didn't go because of the cost. I'm glad we did. We enjoyed all six zip lines and the views were amazing. There was a small wait between lines but I would expect that when you're with a group. Wasn't too impressed with the ladies at the front. They seemed bothered and in a funk. It's okay the tour guides Kayson and Bri were great and made up for the ladies. I would suggest going as we did enjoy ourselves. read more

Riley and Gibson were our guides, and they were both great. From the initial fitting, to hooking us up for each line, to their jokes along the way. They also capture great pictures! On our particular tour, my two sons, 13 and 10, were the only kids. Riley and Gibson, along with all the other participants, made them feel welcome, which was greatly appreciated! One piece of advice, take time to take in the scenery while you're going down the line. Especially on the last one. Highly recommended, and if you're able to get Riley and Gibson as your guides, you're already winning. read more

We came for Labor Day Weekend and we all had a blast! A couple of people in our group decided to sign on late and they still accommodated us to add them last minute. Also we had some people in our group, that were scared and our tour zip line guides made it such a comfortable and funny experience that I think they ended up forgetting how scared they were lol. We zip lined with Rugaru yesterday on our weekend getaway to Hochatown, OK. What a blast it was! The fact that we waited for each person in our group to complete the lines before moving on to the next gave us an opportunity to connect with the other members of our group. I think it's safe to say everyone in our group had a great time. Lots of laughs, lots of fun. I will say that Rugaru would benefit from investing in a professional camera as they offer photos for purchase. $20 for a group of 2. We did not buy ours as they were just iPhone pictures and we took a few of our own. I would be willing to spend money on professional zip lining photos given the opportunity. The last line has the absolute best views. It'd be neat if they would make some more lines that go over the lake. All in all a good time! read more

Well if you have been zip lining in any tropical location this will not excite you. Cool excursion for the kids but the two hours advertised ended up being about an hour and 10 minutes and only about six lines which for $75 is kinda steep but I also realize we are in a touristy area. We went at 10 AM with a group of seven and to say the staff was personable would be a stretch. We walk in, were barely greeted with a hello (y'all should really smile sheesh), the guides were probably 22 which is fine but I need you to find some morning enthusiasm if this is your job. They barely talked. We got instructions for about 2mins which is also fine but if you have never been might be a little unnerving. It was super quiet the entire time which is find kind of weird when you're doing something adventurous. Need the guys to be more lively. Mayne talk to people, pretend you're having a good time. Maybe it's an OK thing. ‍And let's not talk about the mediocre iPhone pics they take. Just take your own group photo before u go. Sooo overall it was fun but also note the brakes hit hard af and there's a steep climb involved which might not be good for some folks. Cool view over the water though. read more

Before you book it, ask yourself "would you get on rollerskates right now?", "Would you try bumper cars?", "Do you still have a physical stamina to get up off the ground?" Or do you have to have a process planned out before you get there? If that is you, do not try zip lines. It's not that it is as brutal as a car wreck, but for a 46 and 50 yr old? Time better spent elsewhere. I saw blurs of green, I heard the sound of fast moving metal on metal, I only saw backward towards where I left from.Suddenly I was jarred to a halt and thrashed around like a crash dummy. Some bendy,19 yr old hardbody kid repeatedly telling me to stand up. I was laying on my back facing up at the sky in utter confusion because i didn't expect to be backwards down the hill, much less slammed to a halt. They said it will give you a jolt. Told to you by a sparkling 18 yr old girl at the start. Mental note. Jolt is the same as slight pressure, pinch or a small sting and or slight discomfort at a hospital. The two hours they advertise? is really 33.26 seconds of ziplines and the rest is hiking straight up a path and a few wooden 2-4 story towers in a z formation, at a jackrabbits pace. (because it is for younger people) They didn't lie. They tell you all these things in the information. Plain as day. It makes total sense once you see it and experience it. It makes NO conceptual sense when you are an unknown. You carry the gear strapped to your thighs, chaffing, as you go up a 35degree incline of loose terrain. Lead and hosted by a tour guide of "tender pink" aged boys and a group of under 30 yr olds who think WHY NOT is a life's motto. Why not? At 45 you'll find out just why not. It was just like all day waiting in a line at an amusement park to ride a roller coaster only you need to hold a 6lb bag of sugar- hooked like a prison chain chastity belt straight up---and up and up. These tied straps around your thighs restricting your movements. Robert kept saying, I feel like I am trying to hold up a diaper. I said it's an A-line skirt- a mermaid cut, trying to get in and out of a car or up down steps. The instructors forget what it is like to know nothing. blindly and absent-mindedly regurgitate the same spiel. The only reason they make eye contact is for the photo sales. they were not unfriendly. We were the last group and it was obvious they were done and ready to get the weekend party on. The information warned over and again it was physically demanding. They covered lots of reasons not to even. Herein lies the crux. We are too old for so many things and too young to be too old for others. We convinced ourselves that we were reasonably fit enough. The facts are that at our age he risk-benefit ratio is not high enough to warrant the effort or the money. I wish there had been a review to say this beforehand as it would have influenced our decision. We should have done the couples massage or the escape room. I'm sorry if that loses a small demographic of business. We thought we were "fit enough". I wanted to try out of the box. I keep learning out of the box tends to end up with the term recovery attached. Hence, in the future they might consider including the questions I started with to weed out a few more. I would answer hell no to BOTH... I was more anxious to finish the damn thing than looking forward to another "24 seconds of confusion" I regretted giving them my physical well being and last couple of hours of daylight on our last night in town Just say no.
