All the rugs have tags with the prices, sizes available, material, country of origin, and if it comes in other colors. There are affordable options, higher end ones, and carpets you can have custom cut and bound for your needs. There were traditional oriental designs, modern prints, and some oddballs that didn't quite belong. What was kind of cool is this store allows you to put a deposit down and take a rug home for a couple days to see if it works in your space. They also have a fair return policy for the same reason. If I had to buy a rug in the Tampa Bay area, I would hit this place up first. The guy here was way friendlier (and less desperate for a commission) than the one we ran into at the Macy's furniture place down on Gandy.

While I was at Countryside Mall, I noticed this relatively new store (open for 3 months). Just as…read moretheir name suggests, they have a large collection of area rugs and original art for sale. I was told that the rugs were machine hooked. The art work was mostly original acrylic/oil paintings from national and regional artists. The paintings represented various themes from landscapes to still life. I was told that there were some prints for sale, as well. Most of the paintings were unframed. If you're bored with the limited rug selection at the 'big box' stores, I would definitely recommend that you stop by to see what they have in stock.

In a house that has had pets and with kids at home, this is important. Even in the dining room, the rug doesn't stain. The guy who sold us the rug was really helpful, explaining to me which rugs were best with a lot of kids at home, and how to take care of them. The paintings are awesome. It's so nice to have real, original artwork in the home. I've been back, and have recommended this place to a number of my friends, who were also happy with the rugs they got. I recommend it!
