Wow.. The service here was amazing!! Cassie allowed us time with the 2 cats they had in house and my grandma fell IN LOVE with him. This rescue was amazing and I highly recommend going through them.

Awful place! Get shown a picture of a dog. Then not even 10 minutes later i get a response then to find out the dog has already been taken.

Last summer I was looking for a cat, and I found this precious face on PetFinder. After connecting…read morewith Fur-Ever Home Rescue and meeting this angel, I learned how much this organization truly cares about the animals they save. It is run by people who have full-time jobs and truly do this out of the kindness of their hearts and passion for helping animals. Other reviews mention that they don't respond quickly. From my experience, they are busy people and with just a little patience, they will give you all the support you need. They had Stacy for over five full years. She was dumped on their property with a damaged eye, scratches all over her body, and her uterus was falling apart from having so many litters of kittens. She needed multiple surgeries (including fully removing one eye) and many vet visits. If you could meet Stacy, you would see that regardless of everything she suffered through, she could not be a sweeter and happier cat. She is now 8 years old and runs around playing for hours a day like a kitten. I truly believe that with the state she was in at the time of rescue, any other shelter/rescue would have put her down. Fur-Ever Home gave her the help she needed to give her a fighting chance at survival. Now, she could not be a healthier or happier cat and that is all thanks to this rescue. Thank you, Fur-Ever Home, for giving me the chance to find my best friend and for giving animals that anyone else would turn away the support, care, and love that they deserve. I could not recommend this rescue enough!

WARNING: Their adoption contract is a way to dupe people into adopting sick animals. Do NOT adopt…read moreguinea pigs from them! I adopted a guinea pig from them that had parasites and a skin infection from it. They're super contagious and thus spread to the guinea pig I already had at home. Both guinea pigs are seniors and it's scary and awful they both are still undergoing treatment to keep them mite and lice free. Not only will they not help with the vet bills due to their "screw you for adopting from us" policy they won't take any of the guinea pigs that were housed near the one I adopted at the time to the vet. I'd be shocked if they currently don't have parasites as well. I was given a lame excuse that "nothing was noticed when cleaning cages" and they don't have the resources for it. Funny how they're supposed to have people who went to school for animal care there but someone like me picked up on that something was wrong so shortly after adoption. My guinea pig came in with another male. They were separated due to fighting and I saw that other male was adopted. By any chance if you adopted the guinea pig "Tot", he needs a vet ASAP. I asked that you be informed by the Tri County staff about the parasites and they won't do it. Their staff is also toxic and abusive. A woman named Sara Morales is vet tech there and will attack anyone on Facebook who dares to speak out about any bad experiences. Avoid, avoid, avoid!

Yes, this place doesn't have the copious choices of leashes, harnesses, treats, etc., but what they have here is the highest quality of food options I've seen anywhere. They of course sell the frozen raw food options you would find such as Instinct, Primal, Stella & Chewy's, etc., but they also carry regional frozen raw from the mid-west region. Along with that what I've never seen is there are three 18 cu.ft freezers full of raw food diet. These items are locally sourced from farmers, which I've not seen anywhere. Of course I purchased some tendon and chicken necks for my bull breed canine. Along with these raw frozen items they carry the highest quality of freeze dried raw choices, my personal favorites Vital Essentials, Icelandic and a new find Momentum Carnivore. Outside of the obligitory food choice, this place has both in-house holistic vet, massage, and chiropractic. For real, really! Where the hell do you find that in a pet store. What really sets this place apart is i had a chance to chat it up with the owner and he's super nice and informative and willing to help. If your ever in this area its definitely worth the drive.
