Food was greasy and bland. There quite a bit of way to get the food as well for what it was and the price seemed outrageous for the taste.

When we arrived, we were greeted with snarky, "hello's" and the staff seemed irritated that we walked in. When I went to order my food, the waitress walked away and I had to stop her. She was rude when I asked to add a vegetable side. When the food came out, she slammed the plates on the table and walked away. She asked if we needed anything else while walking away. She refilled our drinks after we paid our check, which made no sense. I wasn't able to finish my food and ended up getting sick all night with food poisoning. The staff was rude, playing on their phones, and the restaurant was dirty. I will never go again and I recommend you don't do either. read more

Wait staff was inflexible in making meal accommodation. Flour instead of corn tortilla. Meal was not the highest quality either.

It's ok. I feel like it used to be better. We ordered carry out last time and the order was made wrong. They remade it, but weren't happy about it. Tacos have no flavor. The last time we ordered we thought maybe it was fluke or because it was a Tuesday. Ordered today and they have zero flavor just scrambled hamburger in a shell. Called the restaurant and was told to call back tomorrow because there was nothing she could do. read more

I couldn't believe my eyes when i got home and opened my trays. The lack of food for the price, along with the terrible customer service when i picked up my order is heard loud and clear. This is so sad. My kids and i have loved to eat these cheese fries as a special thing between us. I hate to have to drive to Milan to get this order, but i see no other option. They no longer offer any diet drinks except for Diet Pepsi. Very disappointed. My meal came with a drink and I just declined. After that my waitress never came back to see if I needed anything. I ended up having to walk to the front of the store to get more water. I've been a devoted customer for years but after today I'll never be back. read more

Always so good. This place is classic. It is not pretending to be anything other than exactly what it is. The menu features their unique twist on traditional Mexican food. I had the cheese crisp and the taco lunch combo. The beans and rice are a favorite of mine, and always taste great. The cheese crisp is the perfect amount of greasy and melty to satisfy your craving. The tacos can't ever go wrong. (I also thoroughly enjoy the enchiladas when I'm in the mood.) The server was patient and attentive with the kids in our party, and the food came out quick. An awesome time as usual. I make it a point to stop in whenever I am in the area and recommend you do so as well. read more

Stopped in for a to go order of nachos (never tried em here). DISGUSTING. Chips? meh, beef looked and tasted like what dirt might taste like....actual dirt. I asked for lettuce instead of re fried beans and you would not believe the commotion that caused. Its basically too much trouble for them to "substitute" however they would be happy to charge a dollar more to add lettuce. I told them to keep the guacamole too. But then they give me 4 containers of mild sauce when one would have been plenty. Very yucky, and generic is how I would describe these nachos. I would have taken them back, but who wants to go to all that trouble? But to top everything off, I ended up getting sick off those $11.55 nachos. Nice. I will not eat here ever again. read more

We were regulars there for at least the last 11 years. Last week the son of the owner was working as the manager. He has become part owner of the business. Tom who may be a regular came over to the table to tell us to leave because we were having fun. Apparently 5 tables left because of us. No one told us that we were too loud until Tom came over. Told us we were at a family restaurant that we should go to a tavern because he was sitting at the Bar trying to watch the cubs game. Tom I hope that you tip all of the servers there really good. So disappointed. Came in a Sat night with kids as they say they are kid friendly. Waitress wasn't friendly and begrudgingly adjust orders as some of us have food limitations. Example, ordered beans without cheese and when it came with cheese waitress response is that is how they do things. Wonder what a person is supposed to do who can't have dairy products. Food was ok but the service was horrible! Took forever to get our drinks! When the food came out it was good small mix up there nothing big. When we were finished eating she didn't come get our plates or ask if we wanted desert or anything else. When she did come over it was to ask how we wanted the check split but instead of bringing the check to our table she stood at the food window with the others and talked! The food was edible but no flavor. They were busy so we thought we would give it a try. I had steak tacos and hubby had super burrito with chicken and beans. They were very busy but did come by to say that they would be with us as soon as they could. Once the food came, I put hot sauce on and took a bite. Kept putting more hot sauce on trying to get some heat, but there was none. The hot sauce tasted like tomatoes only. Steak didnt have any flavor but it was edible. Hubby said the refried beans were good and had flavor, but the chicken was bland. Will get beans to go and get burrito and tacos from another place in the future.
