We stumbled up on this place after eating at KOTO brewery and they told us they may have more of their beers in cans to take home. As you enter I was in heaven. I love to cook and I enjoy gadgets and fun trinkets for the kitchen. The amount of stuff they had was overwhelming but in an amazing way. They were so organized and had everything you can possibly need for your kitchen. Love that they had everything in sections and some of the prices were a bit high but you know they will last for sure and I don't mind that. They had a small section for sale and they had some fun stuff that's prolly out of season and picked up a few. They have cooking classes & wine tasting as well to pair with food as well. You can actually reserve or just a party and that's super neat. They have e a fresh local cheese section you can purchase as well as an olive oil tasting section with bread as well. Loved that touch. They have local beers that's what we were there for and picked up a few other items as well and you can make your own 4 pack or 6 pack of local beers to take home. Honestly a super neat store. I travel 2 HRs to get this product! I pay $58.00 for it! The product is persevered in barrels. Which is correct. Especially if you want to preserve it to the upmost. They now preserve it in TIN BARRELS!!! I kid you not, who would have thought that was good idea!!!! I got home and the product taste like Shiat!!! Metal tasting and more and all, as if it is rancid. I spent $58.00 to get my Vinegar infused lime jalapeno to get home to only throw it away! I will never return again to pay that amount of money for such a great product the STORE ALTERED for saving money! read more

Went to a lefse tasting today at Rudy's and had an excellent time! My daughter, daughter-in-law and granddaughter all went and loved the lefse! We also stayed and had a glass of wine from their new wine bar! What a great experience!!! read more

I love this store because of the wide selection of whatever you are looking for, wine, beer, cookware, cooking gadgets, olive oil, or a gift for someone. The owner Tom is very nice, have known him for a lot of years, always makes everyone feel welcomed. I went in with my granddaughter the other day, she is 10 and she commented on how much cool stuff they have, she likes to cook I was for the first time disappointed with the NOT very friendly employees, we were there for about 40 minutes looking at everything, my reason for going in was to sample and ask about the olive oil, not one person acknowledged us, I even looked at an employee and smiled, she walked right passed me, looked at me, didn't smile or say can I help you? Not a word. I stood looking at the olive oil for at least 15 minutes, the counter where she works is very close by still no acknowledgment, a guy walked in and right away she says, Hi! Can I help you? if it was my first time in I probably would not go back, but I know it is not always like that. Employees are a big reflection on the business, they need to be more concerned about how they treat every customer, as they never know who you might be, but that shouldn't matter either. I was looking for Italian wine, little did I know that this amazing store had literally EVERYTHING from fine wines to high end cookware to fun kitchen gadgets and everything in between. Weird experience today. Wife is looking for something to keep food warm and the young clerk said no we don't have anything like that and Wife said she was surprised store did have them. Since we have spent hundreds of dollars on ingredients, pans and classes,we thought we would wander around. Wife found the food warmers she was looking for on a shelf. Wife picked out two to buy and then saw the young clerk and said that this was the product we were looking for. Wife said no trying to offend you. We went to purchase our items which totaled over $100 and the cashier asked if we found everything and she asked if our experience was okay and advised you clerk was offended. Wife shared what happened when we were looking for warmers. Cashier said clerk was upset and wife said she was also upset about how clerk told her to go somewhere else. We left with a bad taste about the experience and decided we won't be back. Clearly customer service is not important to this business. We will make sure we share this experience with others!!! Although I live in Hawaii, I visit Twin Falls often as I have family that live here. My brother (who has lived in Twin Falls for decades highly recommended Rudy's). I was simply amazed at the selection of cookware and gourmet food items they have in the interconnected stores. Yes, their prices aren't the cheapest, but they sell gourmet, high quality items (which are not cheap). They DO have SOME Idaho-made items (which I was looking for as gifts for home). There service and friendliness was top-notch. I will definately return for future visits! BTW, I was saddened to see a poor review given due a claim that they won't buy/sell local items. The review further stated "they must be Mormons." That was a cheap, uneducated attempt of an insult. Afterall, most folks know that faithful Mormons don't drink alcoholic beverages and Rudy's specializes in gourmet wines and beers - hello? read more

So I had received a TON of gifts from Rudy's for my bridal shower, and so for christmas I decided to go in and check it out for other people's gifts. I am SO glad I finally went in there. It is AMAZING. It is two large store fronts FILLED TO THE GILLS with any cooking/baking/wine kitchen things you could ever dream of! I could have spent hours in here! They also have Le Crueset and other cooking/bakewear. Also lotions/homemade soaps and all sorts of nice things. You seriously need to go in there to get the full effect! read more

This place has what you're looking for... it really is a Cook's Paradise. We learned about this place by just walking by it and realizing that there was bound to be some local wine and beer.... and boy is there! Great local wines are given a prime spot in this store and they almost exclusively carry beers from nearby. Additionally, they have some great gadgets...some that I have personally had a hard time finding...such as wine toppers that also aerate your wine at the same time. My local shop has yet to carry anything like this and the other one I've found was in Calistoga...which is in the heart of "wine country". These people know their stuff! I was also super impressed by the staff. They were friendly and recognized my partner and I as people who might be interested in the other activities within the store. We felt so welcome it's almost worth the trip to this store every time we are in town. Twin Falls is very lucky to have such a gem downtown! read more

If you live in the magic valley area and are in need of some specialty cooking tool/utensil then this is the place. I LOVE this store and it's the only one like it that I know about in the area. I haven't yet imagined a cooking tool that they don't have and everything they carry is QUALITY. It's not a cheap place, but you know that you are paying for something that is going to last. The staff is all very knowledgeable and were able to answer every question I had about the bake ware I inquired about. I haven't personally taken any of their cooking classes, but I've heard that they are a lot of fun so that is on my list of to dos. read more

What an amazing place! I was lucky enough to arrive on the first friday of the month and to enjoy live music, wine tasting and such a great ambiance. I spend a lot of time cooking and Rudy was a piece of paradise for me, a home away from home with my friends, Staub, Le Creuset, Riedel and so much more :) On top of it all they also offer an amazing food selection and cooking classes! Rudy's has a great selection. It's the only place in town where I can find a filter for my coffee maker. I've bought quite a few peices of Le Crueset here. It's a bit overpriced, but like I said the only place in town where you can find these things. They have a really nice wine and beer selection too. read more

I love Rudy's. I love to cook and there is no other place outside Boise with the selection that Rudy's has. However, they lose a star for one thing. The Owner Himself. I always have a tendency to leave if he shows up in the store. He asks if you need help then treats you if you are stupid, and really are much to dumb to be shopping in such a fine establishment. My Father used to go in for his fine selection of cigars, but simply because the owner stopped smoking, he doesn't carry them anymore. But, regardless of all this, I still go in because there just isn't any place like it around. I specifically enjoy doing my Christmas shopping there, for there is so many delightful and unique things that they offer. read more

Twin Falls isn't the biggest town--so I assumed Rudy's wouldn't have the biggest selection. I was wrong. Very, very wrong. I travel to NYC/DC/Seattle/LA on a regular basis and have NEVER found a store that even comes close to providing the quality, variety and expertise Rudy's has to offer. Other gourmet shops are either too corporate--severely limiting the products they are able to sell (Williams Sonoma--looks nice, but if you really cook it is a total waste of time) or lack the variety (Chelsea Market Bowry Kitchen Supply (lots of cool stuff--but not for the home cook)) or lack a knowledgeable staff (Sur La Table). I recently returned from a trip to NYC where I'd found some whimsical kitchen tools in the Grand Central Station Market that I'd fallen in love with. Guess what Rudy's also had in stock when I got back from my trip? That was it, my heart was theirs forever. The biggest reason I adore Rudy's: I found a dish towel at another store, in another state, that I loved, but couldn't find any more to purchase. The staff at Rudy's helped me identify the maker and the "season" the pattern came from-- a whole year earlier in the spring and this was now winter!--and were able to ORDER more of the pattern and then some, just for me. I'd like to see Williams Sonoma do that. (they wont; I went there to check out a coffee maker WS sold just two months ago and they couldn't even get THAT for me...let alone tracking down something no longer being made!) Rudy's has a hip First Friday wine tasting/live music event each month that is standing room only and always worth it. They also have the BEST culinary classes--and are willing to help with technique questions even in the middle of the day (I learned to can based solely on a discussion with one of the staff). They also sell some fabulous bulk coffee and tea--fresh and divine. In addition, Rudy's carries tools and products that are HARD to find--lefse griddles, rollers, sticks; rosette sets--the only other store I've seen these Norsk tools in was in Poulsbo, Wash--"Little Norway". I can not say enough about how great the staff is at Rudy's; they know me by name, they give my son a free lollipop when he comes, and they even take an interest in distracting him while I shop. Add that to great selection, fabulous skills and the willingness to go the extra mile--or two--and you have a REAL WINNER of a store. read more

The only place in town where you can find quality beers from microbrewers across the country. I like beer, but not necessarily the macro brews (Coors, Budweiser, etc). I like IPA's, Double IPA's, and beers with that unique flavor. Rudy's has a great selection (try Sierra Nevada's Hoptimum-it will blow you away!) of micro beers. I don't know about the rest of the store because I always head straight for the beers. read more

My mom and I went to this store in search of a pressure cooker. A sales person helped us as we had been researching the Instant Pot. The sales person upsold us on the brand they carried. Being more expensive than the Instant Pot we thanked her and decided to shop around a bit. In an adjoining room we again saw them in their boxes. We read the information on the box and saw it had a price of 79.99. We decided to purchase it. I took it up to the counter and we decided to shop more. When we decided to check out it come to 105 something. I said no the price tag said 79.99. The sales associate got a little combative and said no they are advertised over there (pointing to the front of the store) for 99.99. It became very clear to me she had taken the price tag of the box. My mom and I both in shock by the abrasive attitude were like okay and purchased the multi cooker. I left feeling a little walked over and felt disappointed I hadn't walk away and made the purchase on Amazon. read more
