This is my third appointment. At my first visit, I waited nearly three hours before being seen. At my second appointment, I waited for over an hour only to be told the appointment had been canceled because the doctor had an emergency. For this third appointment, I was specifically instructed to call ahead to make sure the office wasn't "running behind". I did, and my appointment was pushed back 15 minutes. However, I've now been sitting in the waiting room for over an hour with no indication of when I'll actually be seen. Communication has also been frustrating. I called several days ago because I was experiencing a complication from my medication and was told a nurse would return my call. After three days without hearing from anyone, I had to call the office again myself. I completely understand that emergencies happen and that delays are sometimes unavoidable. However, when long waits and communication issues become the norm, it makes receiving care incredibly difficult. A great doctor can only do so much if patients can't be seen in a timely manner or can't get the support they need between appointments. Unfortunately, the overall experience has made it hard to justify continuing my care here.

Later I called she was cold and alone in a big room #121. She said she was very cold and very hungry. I placed on a 3 way call to the nurses station. I repeated what my mother said with my mother on the phone to the nurse. I said my mother is hungry please hurry and she is cold. 30 Minutes later with my mother on the line no one tended to her. I called again. She said the gentlemen was covering himself. I said why she is negative please hurry. 2 1/2 hours later my mother past away. I drove to the hospital. I refused to leave until I saw my mother. Nurse Sharon(a big causation women) and Joanna Salazar would not leave me alone with my mother(they were playing good nurse, bad nurse big Sharon was in charge). They made me stand at the door several feet away from my deceased mother that is negative for covid. They would not leave me alone They both stood there talking and talking while next to me at the doorway. That was a Balearic unprofessional behavior. Joanne said because it was a rapid covid test it was not valid. Nurse Sharon left for the evening. My sister arrived 30 minutes later she allowed my sister and brother to hold my mother. also my mother lost and earring. I called 5 times and spoke with the head nurse to recover the earring. They all took my number and never returned my call.

When I first found out I was pregnant, Dr. Sam Kassar was one of the doctors recommended to me by…read moremy primary physician. So of course, like everyone else around my millennial age I searched online and yelp to review my future baby birther. When visiting the Woodglen Medical Group yelp page I was hesitant to go with Dr. Kassar based on the overall negative reviews of the Woodglen Medical Group as a whole, but I'm lazy and wanted to get a OB close to home. I am extremely happy I decided to go with Dr. Kassar, something to keep in mind - Sam Kassar is the OB for pregnancies and Naim Kassar seems to be the OB for everything else but babies. While I am only halfway through my pregnancy journey so far I have had great experiences with the doctor and staff. - Appointment making process is simple and easy. Something to note, they do not call to confirm your appt. a few days before, but technically that's the responsibly of the patient to make sure we know when our appt. is so I get it. - Staff (e.g. front desk and assistants) are friendly and provide good information for the easier questions you may have. - Dr. Kassar is super informative and always has an answer to all of my (normal and weird) questions + everything is located in one place here, the ultrasounds and the doctor. So there's never a need to wait to find out the outcome of the ultrasound, you find out once you see the doctor immediately after. Oh, and if you need to give blood, its on site as well. No need to visit another office. - I have never met the nurse, however I have called countless times to ask questions or inquire her opinion on different things and she is so helpful everytime. Between the nurse and Dr. Kassar I have had full peace of mind throughout my pregnancy.

I was told at my 6 week postpartum appointment that the shape of my pelvis was not made to give birth naturally and that I would never be able to give birth vaginally. When I asked if I could even consider having a VBAC, I was told absolutely not, especially because "babies typically get bigger with each pregnancy" (my first born was 8lbs 7oz). A few years later we moved and I got a new OB. Since then I've had two incredibly easy VBACs, amazing birthing experiences, and two babies less than 8lbs. My last delivery was so easy that our baby's name means "rest." I credit both of my VBAC experiences to the Lord's gracious blessings after the complete fear of childbirth and the postpartum depression that came after essentially being told I wasn't built to have children. I give two stars because my child was delivered safely and there was one nurse on staff that was always very friendly, or else I would only give one star.
