I really love Pulp Friction because they make me feel healthy. Everything in their food cabinet basically screams "I AM IN PEAK SHAPE PLEASE PUT ME IN YOUR BODY" and so I've tried some delicious things like sushi salads (a bed of mild wasabi and soy dressed brown rice, lightly pickled vegetables, toasted pumpkin seeds topped with delicious seaweed flakes) and coconut chia pudding. Pulp Friction are also frequent Facebookers so I find myself thinking about their delicious treats regularly... darn them. What you see on the menu at Pulp Friction is what you get... the fresh ingredients are ALL that are in the delicious food and drinks at this place. No concentrates, no syrups, no flavourings and very little - if any - saturated fat. They like to think that their fresh and mainly locally sourced ingredients speak for themselves, and I like to think that they're pretty accurate there. They even have a stamp card for repeat offenders. Hello. AND you can often find Pulp Friction returning to their roots as a market stall on the weekends. I've enjoyed a bevvy at both the Farm Gate Market and at MoMa this summer!

I kept my distance for ages because I was hands down a Vita supporter, and even when I scoped out White Cow I wasn't too impressed with the froyo options, and the toppings in particular were junky candy, basically Cold Rock style without the fun of the chopping board. But then... then I discovered White Cow's gelato and sorbet. Forget froyo, this stuff is the glorious stuff of legend. So delicious, and such excellent flavours. Even the sorbet tastes creamy! How! I don't care, don't explain it to me. All I know is whenever I'm passing through Centrepoint, I can't resist White Cow's siren song. EFTPOS is available but under $10 will cost you an extra 30c for savings/cheque or $1 for credit. (IMO worth it for stuff this good but YMMV.) Make sure you try a bunch of flavours before locking in, too.

Salamanca was the largest market and extended from the entrance by St. David's Park, past Parliament and the Tasman Memorial and ended nearby the Blue Eye Seafood. The market was already bustling and busy when we walked through at 9:30am which was just one hour after the start. This was the largest concentration of people in Hobart we saw during our stay. We saw lots of local Tasmania crafted products, batch distilleries, fresh produce, and a variety of food offerings like scallop pies, burgers and other cuisines. Most were setup under tents but a few food trucks and trailers also. Overall popular for locals and visitors and a good experience to add while in Hobart.

There's great food, so many Tasmanian made products, a great atmosphere and so much to see and move throughout the market. A must see a tourist attraction if you're visiting Hobart.
