I had never worked with her before but I sat down in her chair and felt like family. She is an EXPERT, and curled and styled my hair into exactly what I wanted. Getting my hair to hold a curl (it's heavy) takes a lot of skill and patience- Elena brought her A-Game. Hair was done by 12:00, and still looked as gorgeous after 7 hours of setting up, officiating, cleaning up, dancing and all the rest of the wedding fun. My first experience here was not the greatest. I went in to get my hair colored/highlighted and instead of getting highlights I got the same color as my natural hair all over. Now I am all about second chances. I called in to explain what happened and they gladly said they would like to fix it. I went in and got it recolored and had a wonderful experience (Note: the stylist who did this unfortunately now works independently elsewhere). This previous time I was a walk-in haircut, with someone new to myself. My hair fell just below my waist and I had asked for 4-5 inches to be taken off and instead I got 8-10. I didn't know until after the appointment how much was really taken, I was devastated because I worked really hard to get my hair that long. Not only was a majority of my hair taken but I was also left with an uneven cut that can even be recognized while wearing it in a ponytail. I called in to cancel any future appointments and to complain about my recent experience. After speaking with the person operating the telephone, I got told that I am just not a good fit for them and that they didn't appreciate me downgrading their salon. In no such way was I downgrading them, I simply wanted to let them know what they did was wrong and wanted them to accept the criticism I was giving them. As I tried to explain further, I kept being interrupted or talked over as if my feelings regarding my taken hair didn't matter and that I should go somewhere else, and yes, I was told to go somewhere else. I have never had such an experience like this anywhere where I was treated with such disrespect when it was my hair, I am trusting them with. Please consider other salons before going here.

She gave me advice on what product I should use which I found to be really helpful since I wear my hair up a lot which breaks off my hair. They got me in last minute. I showed up 15 minutes early and only had to wait a minute or two! I live this place! Two thumbs up! Laura cuts my mom's hair and it always looks great too! Definitely a place to come!
