We started with the Gyoza, which is always a reliable favorite here. I ordered a mix of sushi including Tamago, a Philly Roll (properly made with smoked salmon!), and the Holiday Roll. The Holiday Roll was an incredible surprise--I absolutely loved it. Bonus: the portions were large enough that I had plenty of leftovers for lunch today. Lauren got the Drunken Noodles, but fair warning on the spice levels: she usually handles heat well and ordered a Spice Level 2, but it was incredibly fiery! She probably should have stuck to a Level 1, though she still managed to eat a good bit of it. The decor inside this location is fantastic, and watching the robot waiter cruise around the dining room adds such a fun touch to the atmosphere. Highly recommend! I requested to meet at the front entrance of the hospital but they just left the food on a random counter and didn't even let me know they dropped it off. But I didn't take a star off for that. The food was nicely packaged. The ginger dressing was different (I'm used to a more orange ginger dressing instead of light yellow) and a little too sweet. The ingredients were fresh but wasn't large enough to be worth $10. The massaman curry was very hearty and flavorful (too much fish sauce though). All the ingredients were perfectly cooked, but I have had better Massaman curry at other Thai restaurants in Jacksonville like Mali thai. I would order something else if I return.

It proved to be a magnificent discovery in every single respect! Arrival was completely effortless, with a grand, spacious private parking lot situated directly out front. The service was top-tier from start to finish exceptionally attentive, gracious, and wonderfully family-friendly. As is my customary habit when visiting fine Thai venues, I ordered a Thai Iced Tea to begin. It arrived crisp, perfectly chilled, and mixed to absolute perfection, making for a delightful afternoon refreshment. For my main course, I selected my absolute favorite, the classic Pad Thai. I was deeply impressed by the kitchen's thoughtful approach to hospitality; when my server inquired if I preferred red radish and parsley added custom touches I personally prefer to forgo they accommodates my request with total ease. My meal arrived with impressive speed and was an absolute culinary masterpiece vibrant, exquisitely seasoned, and piping hot. Between the immaculate cleanliness, tailored service, and divine cuisine, Bounxou Thai earns absolute full marks from me. A sensational spot I shall most certainly be returning

The place itself was nicely decorated, but had only one server from what I can tell. She was busy running to and fro, but taking care of everyone. We ordered spring rolls, Panang curry, and pad Thai, which all came out on queue and piping hot. As far as the taste goes, they felt a little flat on the pad Thai, with a sprinkling of burnt pieces throughout his dish. The curry was made with coconut milk and very tasty but a little more watery than I was hoping for. Overall, it was good and we both agreed that we would go back and give it another try. It's in a great location for us and satisfied a Thai food craving.

We didn't like it quite as much as last time. It was more liquidy, perhaps needing a bit longer in the pan to evaporate out some liquid and make the sauce more intense?
