I was surprised because they have many kinds of skincare machines, including the latest equipment. I especially liked that they offer both ultrasound and radiofrequency treatments together. I focus mainly on skin firming, and it was great that I could get treatments for both my face and body. Jane's massage skills are excellent. With some facials I've had there are extended periods of time where the person will leave the room with just the steam going but that never happened here. I came to Ruby Skincare because my friend recommended it to me. They had a special for first time customer and it's $45, which I think is a pretty good deal! The ladies there are so nice; every time I call to make an appointment they're so courteous and friendly. They also remember you which makes me feel special After my first visit, my husband and I decided to get a package for 10 facials for $500. They change up their deals sometimes; I think they used to have 10 for $400 which was a really good deal! I love how part of their facial routine is also massaging your back and your neck. This review is long overdo but I needed to make sure my wife's microblading turned out well. I'm happy to report after two months my wife's eyebrows has turned out really natural. The ink she uses are from plant base so there's less chance for allergic reaction. Ruby is very kind and communicates what to expect. Her style is to make things look natural and not over the top. A while back I had permanent makeup done by the owner of this place at another location. She did a great job. I'm more of the super paranoid type who's seen plastic surgery gone wrong shows and would NEVER let anyone put permanent makeup on my own face if I didn't have 100% confidence in her abilities and cleanliness. Since then I've gotten tons of compliments and inquiries about my eyebrows. When I heard the owner opened this location I decided to check it out. This place is a little hard to find. The navigation will take you to the right plaza,but Ruby's Skincare is kind of hidden behind Shakey's Pizza. That being said, I had a positive experience and would recommend this place to others. I'm a huge fan of makeup, spas, and anything skincare and spend $$$ on these things. For the money, this place is a great value. The facility is clean and brand new with modern decor. I liked the extra touches like the complimentary hot tea and candy. It gave more of a personal feel rather than a sterile one. The aesthetician who worked on my face was very detailed and the products she used were of high quality. The owner is not in any way pushy or rude. The last place I went had an owner who would try to prey on my insecurities by making borderline rude comments about my skin to convince me to purchase more sessions. A friend of mine referred me to Ruby, and the first time I went in for permanent make-up on my eyebrows and eyeliner, I was so scared that I dragged her in with me. I had heard horror stories from other people about how tattooed eyebrows would fade orange, or the shape would be all wrong. Ruby addressed all my concerns and made sure that she understood what I wanted. She also talked me into more conservative eyeliner, rather than the trend of having a tail flare out because she didn't want me to regret my choice later, which I appreciated. She colored in my eyebrows and eyeliner to look very natural. I had to get a touch-up a few times because while some people's skins retain ink better than others, I unfortunately was using whitening oils, some acne treatments, and swimming a lot, which meant that my permanent make-up was not so permanent. Fast forward to a year later, and although my eyebrows significantly faded, they never turned orange. I went back in recently for a new session, and I got my eyebrows and eyeliner both filled in darker and drawn a bit thicker, and I am so happy with the results. Ruby is so talented at permanent make-up and has attracted so many clients word-of-mouth, that she managed to save enough to open her own salon. Her salon is tucked into the corner of a shopping complex with Shakeys, so it's difficult to know it's even there-- truly a hidden gem! Her salon is very well-decorated, clean, professional and aesthetically pleasing. There are snacks, tea, water, and plenty of magazines to peruse-- great for my sister who had tagged along with me to see if she could get her eyeliner done too. I get easily cold from the air conditioning, and Ruby thought of every comfort, including blankets to keep me warm. It was really nice being able to just lay back and trust in Ruby's artistic skills. I am thrilled that I do not have to apply any make-up when I go out other than foundation and blush. No worries about my eyebrows rubbing off and looking uneven, or my eyeliner getting into my eyes and making them red and watery. I've received many compliments on my permanent make-up, and now both my mother and sister are going in to get their eyebrows and eyeliner done too. read more
