OMG.... I've been going to Ruby Clippers for over 10 plus years now and recently they have new owners by the name of Connie. What Connie and her team has done to this spa is absolutely amazing . Full makeover and absolutely gorgeous. Beautifully decorated and extremely clean and they even have a cute waiting area for you to take pictures. They went above and beyond with total renovation and Connie and her team are extremely kind and caring and most importantly... Just as Beautiful as the Spa ! Gigi and I can't thank you enough for giving me the love and the comfort every pet owner needs to experience. read more

I took my yorkie in for a wash & nail trim. Told Connie SPECIFICALLY that I didn't want a haircut. Came back and my dog's face was scalped when I've kept it long since I've gotten him. Awful. Awful. Awful. Even if I had wanted a cut, this was nothing like what he had. It was completely awful. Now it will take my 10 year old dog at least 6-12 months to fully grown the hair back the way it was. read more

We have been a customer of Anderson's since he opened! We've always received great service and Sophia has always been well groomed and loves to visit. So you ask why the two (2) stars! Over the past few months the grooming has gone from the typical three (3) hours to well over five and a half (5.5) not just once but twice now! Of course it's nothing but excuses from we only have two groomers blah, blah, blah! What once was a sensational place to have your dog groomed, to wondering when 5+ hours will turn into an entire day! Anderson, I'm sorry for having to post this, but you need to get better control over your business. If anyone knows a great grooming place, please let me know. read more

Today was my first experience. I've had a regular dog groomer for a few years now but it was time for a change. I am over the moon happy. They are so nice and welcoming. Charlie looks amazing and they even sent pictures and videos of him after he was finished and ready to be picked up. Let's talk about that because I dropped him off a little earlier than they opened and they let me in and they had him completely groomed including brushing his teeth and I was able to pick him up in 2 1/2 hours. Heaven. What a find! So thrilled as I live right up the road. I highly recommend. read more

HIGHLY UPSET fur parents ! incident happen August 31, 2024 !!!! Before this date my husband and I was happy with the company and my two dogs Kingsley and Chance have been going here for years( well Kingsley has Chance just started since he is a puppy still and just turned one). So they go there on a 2-3 week basis for their haircut. Well this time was a nightmare and truly the worse experience of our lives!!!! Before i dropped of my two dogs that Saturday morning on 8/31/24 my smallest Chance was perfectly fine nothing was wrong with him nor his eyes. I drop them off like normal excepting the same thing they will be safe and handsome by the time I pick up, well one of Ruby Clippers groomers decided to put HUMAN VISINE IN MY PUPPY EYE " because they said it was a little red" which makes no sense because he was perfectly fine before i dropped him off then they tried to play it off like it was nothing but once we left we googled that if you put Visine in a dogs eye is life threatening and recommended we take our dog to the vet or hospital well by the time we saw Chance he was squinting his left eye, swelling, red and irritated we had to rush him to the animal hospital!!!! After 3 hours of testing and checking and a huge bill amount we realized the groomer not only did the most irresponsible thing ever that could of killed my dog from positioning eye drops but we saw an actual cut on my puppy eye!!!! So a $60 hair cut turned into a $300 hospital bill and after this WE WILL NEVER GO BACK!!!! read more

I am horrified and disturbed how my Yorkie was recently treated at this facility. My dog has been receiving services from this location for over 4 years and I must say the quality and services have gone down. I was promised that I could pick my dog up 4 hours after drop off and when I arrived he was not ready. They began to rush causing several cuts and patches all over his body. I could hear my dog crying out as they rushed to groom him. When asked about why he was in so much trauma I was provided with a poor excuse and no reasonable explanation for the injuries. I will not be giving such an establishment my $65.00 every two weeks. PLEASE BEWARE!!!! read more

I am sorry to say that my experience with ruby's grooming was absolutely horrific. I took my beloved dogs in for routine grooming, and when I picked them up, I was shocked and devastated to discover that they had cut off the tip of my sheepadoodle's tail and burned the genitals of my miniature poodle. to add, it looked like an amateur had groomed them, leaving their fur uneven. I cannot express how outraged and heartbroken I am that my poor dogs had to endure such terrible mistreatment at the hands of this so-called professional groomer. The negligence and cruelty displayed by this company are simply unforgivable. Not only did they cause my dog immense physical pain and distress, but they also inflicted lasting emotional trauma on them and me. The damage done to my sheepadoodle's tail and my poodle's genitals is irreversible. my sheepadoodle's tail didn't stop bleeding for weeks and my miniature poodle wouldn't even let me wash him imploring me to take them to the emergency. as I thought my sheepadoodle's tail would necrosis my poodle's balls looked like they were hanging bare. the vet quickly confirmed that they had snipped the tip of my sheepadoodle's tail and "clipper burned" my poodle's genitals and lower body. I implore any pet owner considering using this dog grooming company to think twice before trusting them with the well-being of their furry family members. Their lack of competence and compassion is truly shocking and completely unacceptable. I'm, not one to leave negative reviews much less an essay on the business's defaults, so please take into consideration when I say I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY AND URGE OTHERS TO STAY FAR AWAY. read more

Ajax at Ruby Clippers was excellent getting Sassy in 30 minutes after I called, was sensitive to Sassy's breed (teacup poodle) age, her limited vision, her possible nervousness, and provided $10 off of her service for her first time! Ajax estimated that appointment to take two hours and texted me right on time to pick her up. So many other dogs were there to greet us, and they looked freshly groomed, shiny, and most of all happy. Ajax suggested the summer cut for Sassy which was exactly what I was thinking and she came home happy and feeling herself! Ruby Clippers is in an unassuming strip mall off Oakland park and Dixie-ish you've probably driven by a bunch of times especially if you live or work near Wilton Manors, if you have a dog who needs some sprucing all you have to do is click your Ruby Clippers three times and say "it's time to get groomed...it's time to get groomed...it's time to get groomed." Thank so much Ajax to you and your team for taking such good care of Sassy! read more

I had the pleasure of having my fur baby Felicity groomed by Ruby's Clippers... The young ladies there are so professional and pleasant. We wanted our five month old Goldendoodle to get groomed but we didn't know where to go... I remembered seeing Ruby Clippers near our home and thought we would give it a try. This was Meghan's first grooming, although, she has already had several baths. We didn't want her shaved, instead we wanted to preserve her puppy appearance. I met Anderson and he was able to give suggestions on what he could do... I left it to the expert, and an expert he is! Meghan came home with an adorable cut and was in a playful mood; we also feared she would have anxiety from the experience. Anderson was patient and professional... Meghan came home happy along with her owners... We recommend Ruby Clippers and will be back for her next experience. read more

I was here twice and that was probably my mistake. The first time they cut my Lola's hair around her face and ears to short. I complained but decided to give them another chance This time I was emphatic in expressing how to cuts Lola's face and ears. Do not cut!!!! just trim around her eyes. She was just getting a bit of length from the first cut. Now they cut even more. I paid 55.00 to be treated poorly and ignored. Never will we return. Be careful. They yes you to death and do what they want. read more

Ruby Clippers Pet Grooming - My baby Molly after her lion cut & shampoo :) - Pet Groomers Near Me - Oakland Park, Florida

I had brought my dog Vince there for about two years, He used to love it came out looking great , happy, but something happened on the last time he came out with a full groom, All the sudden there were about 10 people in there, Id never seen before , New groomers, guy at front with a cut off bellyshirt, whole vibe got weird, When I got him home I noticed he had nicks on his back legs, his nail was bleeding. He in no so petrified of the groomers , no matter who i have tried that he goes beserk and also is now having an issue with other dogs and always being on the defensive, It is so bad that I have to take him to VCA Imperial point, get him sedated to have a nail trim and a batch for 200.00 as he became terried for anyone to go near his nails or back legs. The vet suggested to send him to behavioral boot camp to get him resocialized with other animals and rid of his sudden anxiety of other animals and have him not wig out everytime he goes into a grooming shop. They were great when i sarted taking him there after 2020 , i have multiple xmas pics the took for me, but since that last visit he goes into majob defense mode everytime i bring him into a groomers. What ever they did to him has scarred him. read more

Took my pomeranian in for his first grooming experience and I think he survived it pretty well. I found Ruby Clippers on Yelp and had purchased a deal $35 for $45 to use towards any transaction in that amount. I arrived at the grooming store, everything was clean and well kept. The place smelled nice and there were 2 other dogs that were being serviced that Saturday morning. We were not immediately greeted as the owner seemed to be on the phone and the elder gentleman was currently grooming a dog. After sitting at the waiting table for a while, the owner finally came to check us in. I mentioned I had purchased a voucher online and he said my 'Groupon' was only for a wash package. I had corrected him, stating it was a Yelp deal and it was for a dollar amount, not a specific package. So he said the full grooming package with haircut was $50 for my pomeranian so I offered to pay the difference after the voucher was taken out. He would not let me use the voucher. OK fine I thought I'd come back if he did a good job. Based on the reviews, it seems he is the main groomer for the pets coming in, however, my puppy was never touched by him. Not even checked to make sure his coworker was doing ok. To be fair, the gentleman who did the full haircut took his time with the lion design we requested. The mane was a bit crooked but the shaving on the body was not bad. Overall for the first experience, I think it was decent but then again I don't have much to compare it. Towards the end the groomer asked for help cutting my puppy's nails and he cried out but I checked later and he wasn't bleeding. They did fail to file his nails so he came home with extremely sharp razor blades... read more

Do you and your puppers a favor and get his/her fur cut or groomed here! Professional, friendly, great people who love your pets. Best groomer ever! Our little yorkie has long hair and doesn't like to be washed and brushed. She has had plenty of baths and haircuts -- none even remotely close to as great as Ruby Clippers. When I dropped her off the groomer came out to discuss desired cut. We really didn't want to lose any length except in a couple areas. Fast forward to picking her up and I was blown away! Our yorkie looked like a show dog from a magazine cover. Ruby Clippers totally nailed it! And once again she was so soft and smelled amazing. read more

So after numerous attempts to reach out to the owner of this establishment. Everytime it's been a failure. The employees don't want to give any information out on how to get in contact with said owner. For my first time ever going to this groomer. I feel as though I was totally ripped off for the service's that were to be performed. And those things never took place. I will definitely tell ally friends and family not to use this place. Hell I'm going to tell everyone and anyone not to use this place to groom their dog's. I would rather take them to the home of the blind. I'm sure they will do a better job.
