This was my first time and it will be my last time visiting this location. I paid $85 for my dog's grooming and tipped an additional $5. When I got home, my dog's face was still dirty around his eyes. I had to use my own tear stain wipes to finish cleaning his face myself. If I had noticed how dirty his face still was before leaving, I would have brought him right back. While cleaning his face, I discovered a patch missing near his eye that was bleeding. My dog has never had a cut on his face before. I immediately called the groomer and was told his face wasn't dirty, even though I had just cleaned visible tear staining and debris from around his eyes myself. Instead of addressing my concern, I was given multiple explanations for what might have happened. I was told maybe my dog scratched himself, maybe it happened after I picked him up, and maybe I somehow caused it while cleaning his eyes. Everything was suggested except the possibility that it happened during grooming. His tail was also not properly finished. It appeared to be washed and blown out, but it was still tangled and nappy. I had to comb it myself and trim the ends when I got home. The owner asked me to bring my dog back so he could look at the area, but after spending several minutes arguing about how he didn't do it and how something else must have happened, I had no confidence that my concerns were being taken seriously. I don't know exactly how the patch near my dog's eye happened. What I do know is that I picked up a dog with a dirty face, had to clean him myself, discovered a bleeding patch near his eye, and was met with excuses instead of accountability. For $85 plus tip, this experience was completely unacceptable. read more

DO NOT TAKE YOUR FUR BABY HERE!!!! I brought my Shih-Poo to be groomed and the Groomer injured his paw. When I picked him up his front paw was coated in blood and my shirt was stained with my poor dog's blood. I understand that these things can happen, however when I pointed out that my dog was bleeding Jack the groomer, insisted that my dog had injured himself and even suggested that he chewed his own paw because I was late in picking him up. Mind you my dog was ready at 11:30 and I picked him up at 12:15. I will NEVER bring my dog to this establishment again! read more

My dog loves this place and they always take him on short notice. I only do boarding so I can't speak for the grooming... But I'd recommend this establishment for boarding to my Oakland Park neighbors. read more

Hey people! Asking you from the deep of my heart: Please think about your dog before you bring it here for grooming. When I noticed that my dog was injured here, I called them and asked why it happened and why they didn't even give us anything to take care of the open wound that started bleeding. The person on the phone started screaming that the dog was behaving very badly and was in a terrible condition, which is not true. BUT WHY????... WHY DID YOU START GROOMING THIS DOG IF YOU KNEW YOU COULDN'T DO IT. YOU NEED MONEY??? Put that $60 we paid in your ugly wallet and enjoy it! P.s. Ozzy is 5lb mini Yourkie, he is 2,5 years old, problem with grooming- NEVER BEFORE. read more

Wilton Waggerz - Sammie "Sam" after his grooming. So cute! - Pet Sitting Near Me - Oakland Park, Florida

Im from Boston and had my Doodle groomed here 4 times over this year. Im so happy to see how great he looked and how well he was taken care of. The owner also noticed that Argo was in some sort of discomfort and because this was brought to my attention I was able to see the Vet and correct the issue. If this groomer had a 6th star available I would give it. Thanks again for your friendly professional and caring staff. Gary Donovan Walpole, Massachusetts read more

I brought my dog for bath on 12/22/20 and when I picked him up, he seemed in pain while walking. I called and spoke to Jack who said might be stray hair and to use medicated powder. The problem got progressively worse and he could not even walk without crying out in pain. I brought him to emergency vet on 12/24/20 and they said he had likely been cut/nicked at the groomer - it was inflamed and infected) near his private area - vet treated him - cost $170. Problem got worse - back to vet on 12/26/20 - more meds - cost additional $80. Called Jack who said nothing different during bath, and would put in his notes. Said used clippers. Jack did not admit to injury. Jack said sorry several times. Note that dog was happy, healthy and fine going in. Pictures shown were from a few days after 2nd vet - cut is red and raw still. Dog recuperating. read more

We would rate over 5 stars to Wilton Waggerz if we could!! My family and I were very apprehensive in leaving our chihuahua Lucas anywhere as he has extreme social anxiety and is diabetic on top of that. In the 3 days that Lucas was there for boarding, Jack and his staff went above and beyond to take care of his every need. They kept us informed and when we picked him up, Lucas was an even better version of himself. He has found his new second home and we couldn't be more grateful. THANK YOU! read more

I was not a fan at all of the "poodle cut" my dog received. She looks terrible compared to other groomers she has been to. Attached are photos. read more

I had been to a couple other places prior to finding this place. Lucy is a long haired dachshund--other groomers would just shave her body regardless of my instructions to clean her up in areas with a trim. They gave my girl the cutest trim. Exactly what she needed. They know how to treat a long-haired breed. I'll be back. read more

This place is amazing! Jack was very quick and thorough with my dogs. My dog Rocko, shih tzu mix had a full groom and Hazel, Chihuahua just had a bath, nail trim and ears cleaned. They were in an out within an hour and a half! Other groomers I have been to have you leave your pup there for hours. Also, Rocko has the tendency to be temperamental about his nails getting clipped. However, Jack said he had no trouble at all with him was able to get all of his nails! That made me so happy to know that my dog was well taken care of. I highly recommend this place! read more

Wilton Waggerz is WONDERFUL. I just moved to the area and adopted a shelter dog who had an unknown past. He has some trust issues and is very skittish. After trying a couple of other places, I really needed to find a place that understood my pup's needs and limitations. These fine folks were unbelievably kind and caring to my little Zeke. I will be back and I will tell anyone who needs a grooming service, Wilton Waggerz CANNOT be beat!!! read more
