They offer a ticket discount every Tuesday, all day, and also have showings of classic movies on Wednesdays and Sundays. The theater is busy but usually not crowded. It's easy to buy tickets on line to reserve your seats, and they feature all the current movies. We saw both Project Hail Mary and Marty Supreme there! I'm pretty sure you can still get a small popcorn and small soda for $1 each, which is unheard of at movie theatres. Matinees used to be $4 and night shows $5 in the first few years, but now the prices have risen $1.25 each. The increase is understandable and the management still manages to pull in big movies on a few opening days (Lord of the Rings films are the most notable examples), but I wish they still operated on 2001 prices. Support this local theatre so that there will always be an alternative to driving 45 minutes to Asheville to see a film.
