Nobody likes going to the dentist, least of all me. I had put it off over a year before covid and…read morethen finally had to go. They were both kind and gentle. Each visit I sat in a chair which looked out a window where I could see the blue sky and a palm tree which I found quite relaxing. There was also a tv in the corner to distract me further. I was very happy with the work they did for me and plan to keep up with my regular checkups going forward.

This place is so AMAZING! I have had sensitivity issues my entire life, and have had some horrible…read moreabusive situations with previous dentists. As a result, I had avoided going to the dentist out of fear and worry for over 7 years. I was afraid of being yelled at and afraid that my sensitivity needs would not be accomodated. I knew I was overdue for a visit, and stumbled upon Tomalty Dental Care and I couldn't be happier. From beginning to end, everyone has been a pleasure to deal with. From scheduling the appointment over the phone to arriving to the office. Everyone is positive, upbeat and understanding. I went in with firm expectations of wanting to express my needs and concerns with the doctor before being touched, and was able to do so without question. Dr. Jordan took his time to listen to me, and was willing to grant my wish of being completely numb before my mouth was touched. Within 10 minutes, Dr. Jordan had gotten father with me than any previous dentist had in over 2 hours. He was gentle, explained everything thoroughly, and went out of his way to make sure I was comfortable (even when giving the numbing shot, which I barely felt AT ALL!). In addition, I have Cerebral Palsy and have a service dog to help me control my muscle spasms, and she was able to stay with me the entire time I was in the chair, which was amazing! Dr. Jordan mentioned that I should have my wisdom teeth removed (which is something I have known for a long time, but have avoided). Due to his compassionate care, I am actually feeling comfortable with moving forward and getting that done within the next few months. The level of trust and comfort in this office simply cannot be beat! All in all, I can't say how thankful I am to have found Tomalty. I am feeling determined, comfortable and confident about getting back on track with my regular cleanings and annual checkups. That is saying a lot considering I used to lose sleep the night before dental appointments and avoided going at all costs. I have already recommended Tomalty to my family and I can say with confidence that I will never go anywhere else! My only wish is that I would have found them sooner! If you are even the least bit skeptical or scared about dentists, go here! you won't be disappointed!

Do not fall for their advertised specials - it is a complete bait-and-switch. I scheduled an…read moreappointment two weeks in advance for their $59 "Exam, X-Ray, and Cleaning" package. I arrived exactly on time and spent an hour and 15 minutes going through a grueling process of every type of x-ray possible. After wasting all that time in the chair, I was flatly told that the hygienist was "too busy" to actually do my cleaning. It is completely unacceptable to trap patients in an office for over an hour for x-rays, only to refuse the core service they scheduled weeks ahead of time to receive. They have no respect for their patients' time and fail to deliver what they advertise. Save yourself the frustration and find an honest dental practice instead.

Deceptive Billing Practices, Misleading Confirmations, and Predatory Quotes!…read more If I could give zero stars, I would. Before booking anything, I texted this office directly to ask if they take Anthem Blue Cross for cleanings AND a sleep apnea mouthpiece. Their text back was crystal clear: "We do! And we do all of the above." (Check the screenshot attached). Any dentist offering sleep apnea devices knows these mouthpieces are covered under medical insurance, not standard dental insurance. They knew full well what I was asking for, yet they told me they covered it just to get me through the door. Are they that desperate for patients? I drove 45 minutes each way (an hour and a half round trip) for this appointment. It was only after they brought me back and put me in the chair that the dentist dropped the bomb: they don't actually bill medical insurance at all. To text-confirm "we do all of the above" under my insurance beforehand and then admit in the chair that they refuse to file medical claims is a blatant bait-and-switch. Instead, the dentist. last name Lapin, tried to play it off like no dentist bills medical insurance (only retired ones with nothing better to do), then pitched me an outrageous $5,000 to $6,000 cash price out-of-pocket. That is more than double what these custom devices normally cost. Luring someone into an appointment with false promises on insurance just to try to trap them into a massive cash bill in the chair is completely predatory. When I called them out on wasting my time, they were smug and dismissive. They waived the consultation fee, but didn't even bother to offer a basic apology for wasting almost two hours of my day and gas money due to their own line of BS. Do not trust what this office tells you over text or phone just to get you booked and in the door. Save yourself the headache and go to a real dentist who actually knows what they're doing and isn't incompetent, overpriced, rude, and arrogant.
