I followed Dr. Mele here from her previous practice, even though this office is out of my way. Dr…read more Mele has been my dentist for the past 5 years and did a tremendous amount of work to repair many years of neglect (a combination of fear and bad experiences). I avoided the dentist for more than a decade, so you can imagine the embarrassment and anxiety I felt when I was finally forced to make an appointment due to a dental emergency; not to mention the condition of my teeth. Dr. Mele made sure that I have a comfortable, pain-free experience, that I am well informed regarding my treatment plan and that I understand that I am a part of the treatment decision process. Dr Mele is an extremely caring person and a meticulous professional. She holds herself to very high standards for the care she provides. I highly recommend Dr. Mele especially to those who are scared of the dentist or feel hopeless about their current situation. As for the office, the front desk staff worked with me to transfer my dental records, despite resistance from my previous dental office. I like the fact that this office understands that 8-5 folks need evening and weekend hours, so I was able to get an appointment without a disruption to my workday. The communication was great and I felt welcomed as a new patient.

Seriously! Dr. Schultz has made going to the dentist fun by showing her all the tools, with how gentle she is during cleanings, and my daughter gets to pick something out of the goodie box at the end. I also feel like I've found a forever dentist for myself. She's very thorough when doing cleanings and explains everything. I recently had my bonds upgraded to veneers on six of my teeth, and the process went very smooth. Dr. Schultz took me in as soon as the veneers came in from the lab (literally called me 30 mins after they arrived!) to switch from my temporaries to the permanents because she knew I had a family party that weekend. I can't thank her enough for the work she did - they look beautiful! I went from being embarrassed to smile, to proudly showing my smile again. I highly recommend her to anyone!

Dr. Farid has completely changed my life. I have never written a review before but the world needs…read moreto know! I literally cried (of happiness!!!) during my first appointment with her, and on several occasions since. After years of dental problems - severe TMJ, repeated fractured teeth, crowns that I would grind out of my mouth in my sleep despite multiple different mouth guards - I decided to try a new dentist and found Dr. Farid. Instead of telling me how we would fix each individual problem that I was having, she told me we needed to change how my mouth works as a whole. I was floored - in all the years of going to numerous dentists, no one had EVER suggested that my mouth could be fixed! She laid out a plan for how we would accomplish this and told me the end result would be teeth that are functional and beautiful. It has been somewhat of a long journey, but right on point with the expectations she set during that first meeting, and I can now say that she came through on her promise and, somehow, more. Thinking about all she has done for me brings tears to my eyes every time. She saw me as a whole person instead of looking at a tooth or a cavity that needed to be fixed. She takes so much care in her work, and always gave me as many options as she could to make me as comfortable as possible. And she never ever made me feel rushed, no matter how many questions I had or how many times after an appointment I called with more follow up questions. As if all that isn't enough, her team completes this perfect package. Her dental hygienist, Nataliya, and her receptionist, Rhonda, are incredibly warm, welcoming, and professional, and were all-in sharing the excitement with me each time we reached a new milestone in my treatment plan. I truly feel like I have a forever-(dental)home at Purely Smiles and I will sing their praises until my dying day. If you want to know what its like to cry tears of joy at the dentist then this is the place to go!

I just moved into the area and having to switch to new doctors always made me felt nervous, especially when I am due with my baby at any moment and having to go through a whole new dental procedure. First of all, her dental office was extremely clean and all the equipments were new and updated. She and her staff spent about an hour examining my teeth and that made me felt like they really care about their patients. I also wasn't aware that the first visit usually only consists of "check-ups" and patients needed to schedule a follow-up appointment for routine cleaning - but after communicating my situation with Dr. Luna (with a baby due any moment), she squeezed me into her busy schedule today so I can have my teeth examined and cleaned before my due date. On top of that, she was more thoughtful and careful that I was that she recommended putting all the other procedures (such as X-rays and etc.) postpartum and double made-sure that my teeth would have no problem in the next six months before I come back to see her again. I am really glad that I picked Dr. Luma as my new dentist. I felt very comfortable and taken cared of as a patient here. Thank you, doctor!
