Said something about a 4 step polish procedure would need be done on them. That's the highest price I have ever been quoted for buffing/polishing rings. $195 to take care of our rings. I was stunned. Luckily I found The Goldsmith Jewelers off Atlanta Road in Cumming. Roger Barker, a 41 year master jeweler, took my rings, buffed and polished all 3 of them in less than 10 minutes. I dropped my ring off before Covid closures and Izzy and his wife reached out to me personally because they didn't want me to be without my ring during their temporary shutdown. I am totally blind and have been searching for a Tissot silen-T watch since mine died recently. This is the best watch I've ever had as a blind person. So, I was excited to see it available on their website. I was willing to buy it site unseen (pun intended) from their website and proceeded to do so. Their website sent me to Shopify to complete the sale. When trying to complete the sale I put in all my information, including my credit card information, but was unable to enter my shipping address. I found this puzzling. So, I called them. First time I called I got no answer. The second time I called I spoke to a female employee. She said that she would have to check with the Tissot rep. I found this odd because the website looks like the inventory is theirs not Tissot's. They said they would call me back. I did not receive a call back, so, the next day I called them, again. This time a female employee, I suspect it was the same person, told me that I was in luck because the TSA rep was in their store. I don't know why that was important, but, she said hold on and went to speak to him. She came back on the line and told me that the rep from Tissot told her that these watches had not been produced in 26 years. I knew that they were discontinued but I don't believe it was 26 years ago as I have only been blind for 25 years. And I have bought two of these watches within the last 15 years. The ones I bought, I purchased new, from Kay jewelers. The female employee told me that she didn't even know they had a Shopify presence. She also said they don't have those watches. So, all in all, if you're trying to do business with them go to their physical location and maybe they can help you. Obviously, trying to deal with them over the phone with their website is a total waste of your time. I was definitely unimpressed and disappointed.
