I own a Tag Heuer wristwatch that stopped working. I checked online for Tag certified watch repair services and found Dimo online, 50 miles away. I left it at Dimo for several weeks. In late July it was returned. They said they inspected it and did routine cleaning and maintenance including battery replacement for over $400. After a couple weeks, it was losing time. Within their 3 month warranty period, the functions could not be set and it quit working altogether. I returned it and a few weeks later it was returned to me in October. They told me it was repaired. When I noted the time was wrong, and they took it back to the watch repairman to set while I was in the store. He didn't bother to reset the language from German--to English. But today, two weeks after it was returned, it is flashing which indicates it needs a new battery which they claimed to have replaced in July--which is supposed to have a 2 year life. I have already had to travel over 200 miles (2 round trips) to their store at great inconvenience of time and costs. Now that I am faced with another 100 mile round trip to demand a new battery, I have lost all confidence in the quality of their watch repair service. This is unacceptable! So why did I give them 2 stars? Store staff members get one star for being pleasant, and another star for honoring their warranty. But I will never return for their repair service to "fix" my watch again. read more

Took my watch in a few days before Christmas for a battery. They told me it was a special battery and would take a week or two to get a price. I called back in mid January and they said they were still waiting on pricing. Called back on January 27th and they said they couldn't do the work in-house. I called the Mall of GA and the place there said they had the correct battery in stock and could replace it in 10 minutes for $35. Dimo's never called me once to give me updates. Absolute worst service I have ever received at a jewelry store. I brought my wife's wedding ring set that I've owned for 5 years in to be sized. We picked it up the following day and a chunk was missing out of a stone in the wedding band. They stated they were perfect and did not make mistakes in 40 years of service and that it is IMPOSSIBLE to chip a diamond. They called the police because they were losing customers while we were speaking to them about the situation and they wanted us to leave so they didn't lose more customers.
