I saw…read moreDr. Keith Lertsburapa, who was a young, casual guy, but with great knowledge, a wonderful bedside manner, and GENTLE. Given my symptoms, I needed a laryngoscopy, which involves snaking a thin cord down the nose so they can see the vocal chords. When they said they needed to do this, I got a chill. But the assistant quickly assured me that the process wasn't painful, and it was quick. And she was right. I got some anesthetic nasal spray, and the instrument easily went down, and Dr. Lertsburapa could see the chords right away. Afterwards, the explanation of my condition and how to fix it was simple yet thorough. The office staff was polite and friendly. The billing was also non-confrontational, which has been my complaint about Edward for the 15+ years I've had to deal with them. The building itself isn't fancy, but this is pretty far down my list of priorities - I want great physicians.

My experience was so fun, from the front desk friendly ladies to the painless procedures, I left a very happy girl. Jill was very patient with all of my questions and even did a consult two weeks prior to my actual appointment as I was on the fence about my lips. I'm so excited that I did both. I feel beautiful, and she made it fun. I love her technique it's pain free. I was so anxious that getting my lips done would hurt, but it was pain free. She only uses ice before each poke. I have used Jill on two separate procedures, and I will continue to be a patient, because she rocks!! Thanks Jill for making this change fun and beautiful.

I felt I was rushed by the doctor and was a sales pitch of all the work that needed to be done. I didn't realize until I got home that the estimate they gave me either was someone elses or they put the wrong name on it but it has some other patients name on it. Because of that I don't feel comfortable going back. I really would rather spend the extra money on my dentist than worry about my information or someone else out there. They were nice though.

My last gynecologist did nothing but say that I needed birth control. That birth control pills will solve all of my problems. Well, they didn't. My doctor, Dr. Patel was wonderful. She was compassionate, informative, and looked high and low (mostly low) to see what my problem could be. After numerous tests, I found out that I had some serious fibroid problems, but she wasn't sure that was what caused my problems. So, for the biopsy we went. Well, that's where my problem lies. It's never fun to learn you have cancer, but for some reason, it wasn't as bad as it could have been. Dr. Patel (and her gracious and equally wonderful and caring staff,) was informative and helpful with the diagnosis, and referred me to a wonderful oncologist. Yeah, it was shitty to find out, but the human touch and feeling made it all the easier to cope with.

As you can tell from my Yelp profile, I barely venture out of the realm of leaving 5 star reviews,…read morelet alone something this low. I genuinely do think making my voice heard on this place (ha, vocal institute, get it?) is what can even the karmic scales a bit, and hopefully will be enough a push to get the office staff to reflect on their behavior. To try and briefly describe the situation, I had told the office staff from day 1 that I'd be footing every bill as my insurance didn't cover anything. And from day 1, this was executed as planned! I paid everything on time as it was presented to me. After my necessary treatment there, it was confirmed to me that I had nothing else to pay off - what a joy! December of last year, I receive a $1 bill in the mail from them. Assuming it's a clerical error, I bin it. I then get a call informing me a surprise $900 bill is going to collections. Having never been late on a single bill (and again having confirmed everything was paid off), I of course was pretty surprised and upset. Turns out, they'd tried...billing my insurance? And didn't hear back for months? And the claim was (as expected) denied, but they couldn't be bothered to send the bill in the mail, call me, or email me about this? I have a feeling they're padding their bottom line assuming you'll pay anything off. After all, who wants their credit ruined by having a bill sent to collections? Perhaps most people who come here have enough money where they wouldn't blink at such a bill? In any case, even if what they're saying is 100% true, it's pretty unbelievable they wouldn't own up to any aspect of the mistake, give more time to pay off the bill before sending to collections, or have an ounce of accountability or empathy in this situation. Even a simple "we made a mistake, I'm sorry" would have sufficed! Kyle and Sandra specifically were obstinate and overtly hostile. Kyle has clearly worked here for a long time, and part of me wonders if they're aware of the racket he's pulling and that's what makes him such a valuable employee. Anyways, Dr. Rebecca Hoesli is the most intelligent, understanding, holistic doctor I've ever experienced. Her care was absolutely peak, and I wish her the best in her career. She helped me understand my condition and the options moving forward, and I'm able to work again because of her. I'm sorry that she works here.
