Lovely Indian takeaway. The food takes a while to prepare but it is worth the wait.

This Pizza Hut is located in the food court of the Castle Court shopping hall, and is of the…read moreExpress variety to fit into the fast food category! The pizzas that you order here aren't quite the same as the ones you would get from the full takeaway outlet, but then again around here you have less time to bleed and need to get your carb fix ASAP! The pizzas are individually portioned and only come in a few different set flavours. The pizzas are fairly good for filling a quick hole when you are starving and need to fill a quick pizza craving, but they aren't anything special. The best part is the refillable drinks and the ability to do the Ice Cream factory here which is also refillable, which is something I was guily of in my younger days! The service is slow though, which is annoying, but the staff are nice and will deliver to you if its going to take too long, so they boomeranged from a two to a three start for me because of that!

Although some of these branches have been dropping like drunk birds out of the sky, this one…read more(somehow) manages to stay open. It's not great. Realistically it is not even good. In fact, it's pretty awful. You get a slice of what tastes like a microwaved pizza and then four chips (if you are lucky), some dreadfully watered down coke and once your finished, you look behind you and they are rubbing their hands with glee having taken your money from you in exchange for one of the worst meals you have ever had. So they weren't rubbing their hands, but the food is chronic and perhaps the reason why these shops are falling apart as a stand alone restaurant is because Pizza Hut just is not healthy or nice. The reason for this staying open is because it is a food court and thus people congregate in order to get some grub, not because they really want a Pizza Hut. I think this chain should cut their losses and get out because just like their number of shops, their queues are also dwindling so perhaps this is the end of Pizza Hut as we know it. And good riddance.

They had no draught beer and charge a fortune for their bottles of beer. Overall service was terrible, food was poor and overpriced Avoid

You'll probably be struggling to put your belt back on or fumbling about with your toiletries when you first see it but don't let that put you off. This place is a recent addition to the airport and a welcome one in my opinion. The décor is modern and there's plenty of plugs built in to the high stools which make it a perfect pit stop for business travelers of those just needing an extra bit of juice in their phones. The food appears to be all local produce; they have a good local breakfast selection offering an Ulster Fry and a breakfast Soda among other delights. Prices are very reasonable for an airport. Even though they have the monopoly over hungry travellers they still have good deals - The breakfast Soda is only £5.50. They have plenty of pastries on offer too (see picture). This isn't just a greasy spoon cafeteria, they have a salad and fruit section which is nice as if you're travelling often you sometimes get sick of greasy or fast food. At peak times The Strangford Kitchen can get busy with queues rivaling those for security but you some to expect queuing at an airport so this shouldn't be too much hassle. With plenty of screens dotted around the seating area this is the perfect place to sit down, have a coffee, charge your phone and relax.
