Project completed in early spring and by December of 1st winter it was chipping, pitting and falling apart. This damage has gotten worse and goes all the way up and down the driveway. They did not level the work area (you can see it) and the apron was done very poorly as well. DO NOT HIRE. This is a family company and they are a disgrace through and through. How can you rip customers off for THOUSANDS and THOUSANDS and do a crappy job and walk away. How do they look in the mirror knowing this?

After hiring Borchert's to build a deck. It took a while to get them out. They poured the footers…read morein the wrong place to start and left the concrete in the ground so we couldnt plant around the deck. They completed the work but left gouges and scratches in the artificial deck surface. It looks weeks to get them to come out and try to remedy the problem. When they did come the deck was wet and we asked they come back when it was dry, they refused and started to wire brush the surface which made the problem worse. We called the Manufactured who stated that the wire brush would ruin the surface of the deck. We had a 25% balance due which we stated we would pay when he fixed the issue. Rather than fix the problem he threatened to put a lien on our home and said he would get the police to arrest us. I would avoid them as they only back up their work with threats. We had to go to the BBB and NARI and get a lawyer involved to try to get a resolution.

I hired them to add a gas fireplace and stamped concrete patio this summer. I hired Precision Corporation in North Royalton to install a stamped concrete patio, and while the workmanship was good, the finished stamped concrete color is nothing like the color stain I selected from their website. I was very disappointed with the difference in the final result. I want to warn people to be very cautious of this company. The terms and conditions on their website state they are not responsible for color differences. I wish this had been emphasized before the installation because the color of stamped concrete is a major part of the finished product. The actual color of my patio is nowhere near what was posted on their website. The color I chose was a grey type color and the actual color used on my new patio is a rust/orange. It's blotchy all over and very inconsistent coloring. It is not even remotely close to the color shown on their website. The company won't do anything to fix it. My advice to anyone considering this company is to carefully read the TERMS AND CONDITIONS before signing and understand that if the finished color is not what you ordered, you have no recourse. Ask detailed questions, and know that the color you request doesn't matter. Make sure you are comfortable with the risks. BUYER BEWARE! Here are the terms and conditions as of 07/22/2026: Concrete: Precision gives no warranty on concrete work. Drives that are installed any time prior to October 31st must be sealed before winter to ensure drive is protected from the winter salt otherwise drive has the potential to pit from salt due to cars going up the drive. Color tones of dyed concrete may vary due to different truck loads, weather conditions at time of pour and natural sun rays. Release thrown shading colors can vary in tones due to weather conditions at time of pour and natural sun rays. Precision is not responsible for color differences in colored stamped concrete due to these reasons or any other reason. Precision is not responsible for differences in stamp indentations due to the nature of stamp work, weather conditions at time of pour and natural sun rays. Some areas dry faster than others and get deeper indentations. Precision will do our best to keep stamp indentations equal but there are a lot of imperfections with stamped concrete. In cases where concrete requires release cuts with a saw chipping may occur on edges of cuts which is unpreventable and is not under any type of warranty. During installations of concrete small debris falling from trees can get into the concrete and we can do our best to remove it but sometimes debris gets floated into the concrete and is unpreventable. Debris can also get into the sealer during sealing of a patio and we will take ever measure to get it out but sometimes we can't get to it. Precision is not responsible for keeping people, debris, animals, autos or any other object or thing off the concrete after Precision has left the job site. If damage does occur Precision is not held responsible to fix the damage. During hot months of the year sealer on stamped concrete patios may bubble and look a little foggy this is caused from the heat and Precision is not held responsible to come fix it. Soil repair around newly installed concrete is priced following the installation of the concrete. These are all the imperfections stamped concrete can have and Precision just likes you to know what to expect.

Subsoil that is 'dead' and devoid of any organic matter. This inert earth was not what I wanted to grow new lawn. A neighbor had removed the bulk of the dirt that was piled up. It was still more than I could handle on my own and decided I had to hire a landscaper. I called Precision and Nick B came out. I explained to Nick that I wanted that clumpy, barren soil skimmed off and some good topsoil brought in. I did not stand over the top of the workmen. After they were gone and I saw what they did, I was absolutely sick. Instead of getting rid of the crap clay and stones, they spread it all around the yard over the top of the lawn that was fine! I contacted Nick and he came out and said to water it and it would be fine. So, I watered and watered and a small portion of grass came in. Called Nick again. He said keep watering. I did and NOTHING. No more came in. I am stuck. I paid for a job and I am basically worse off than I was. Instead of getting rid of the crap dirt and stones, it is all over my yard. So now I have a bigger area that needs to be worked than I started out with. As I try to come up with a plan to fix this, all I keep thinking was I paid to have this fixed and it was not done as I had asked. It was not done correctly. My yard looks horrible. I asked to make this right. Nick called and we discussed. He swore that they had brought in topsoil. I don't know anyone who would call that topsoil. I gave him the opportunity. As I expected, he wouldn't own it. I am now wondering if I could still attempt to fix it myself or hire someone else. Although I afraid to trust anyone at this point.

Hired to grade my gravel driveway. Paid the $6k deposit. Told me I would get a great deal to pour…read morenew driveway. I signed revised contract and paid the deposit. He tore up driveway, sidewalk and apron. His guy hit the water line. After that delay after delay. He miscalculated and then asked for thousands to finish the job. I says no he left the driveway tore up for 3wks. Had to hire attorney, get city involved, and job was completed by new contractor. DO NOT USE this guy he makes mistakes and want you to pay to fix them.
