From the moment you walk in, the staff makes you feel welcome and motivated. The facility is spotless, with a modern and calming atmosphere that sets the tone for a great workout. Whether you're a beginner or a fitness enthusiast, there's a variety of sessions to choose from to suit your needs. I love working out in HOTWORX. I am extremely disappointed with how HOTWORX Vienna handles membership cancellations and customer…read moreconcerns. Trying to cancel my membership has been one of the most frustrating experiences I've had with any fitness studio. I spoke directly with the owner of the facility, and instead of taking accountability or assisting with my request, he repeatedly deflected responsibility by saying that "corporate" makes all the decisions. It felt like a constant game of passing the blame, which is completely unprofessional for someone in an ownership position. Additionally, they intentionally leave out certain information to get you to sign up, and once you have a card on file to pay for the membership, they charge fees and have rules that are hidden in the contract. When asking questions about these fees and membership terms, I was misinformed by multiple employees, including the owner. Furthermore, when signing up they also state you "must" buy THEIR mat and towel (which are insanely expensive, over $100) to use in the sauna, but in overhearing a guest tour during my session, another employee stated "any kind of mat and towel can be used in the sauna, even one off Amazon." I would NOT recommend HOTWORX Vienna to anyone looking for a reliable or honest fitness experience. This kind of misleading practice is disappointing and untrustworthy. Lastly, the facility itself also leaves a lot to be desired. The bathroom is consistently unsanitary, and there's often visible sweat on the inside of the sauna glass doors between sessions -- which is unacceptable for a place that markets itself around health and wellness.

If you weeks ago I got a good look in the mirror and realized just how far I had fallen out of shape. Truth be told I freaked out a little bit. Once I calm down I started doing my research. I knew that based on my age I needed to find a specific type of training. I know what to eat. I know how to "train" but i also know how to put it off "until next week". it is so easy to make excuses when you only answer to yourself but finding a program and committing to it drives me. I was really shocked at the variety of trainers. You have the rah rah coach, You have the coddler, you have the push you til you drop types etc. I lived in the gym for years. I loved it. Then kids, and age, and life became the excuses and i just quit doing it. I needed to find someone who could build on my experience and modify my workouts to my age and new goals. I no longer need to spend 2 hours workouts 5 days a week in the gym pushing way to much weight trying to be a better athlete. I spent quite a bit of time both by phone and email chatting with Elin about my goals. First thing i noticed. Elin listens. He took in the history i gave him and what i would like to achieve moving forward. Elin spent over a week digesting the info i provided on his questionnaires. He clearly was looking for the right fit. The beauty of Elin Fitness Redefined is the great and varied type and styles of trainers. Day one workout. I have a workout with Ray. He reminds me of my best workout partners from my youth. He is a lifelong athlete. His freestyle wrestling background as well as long term military service let me know immediately that i was working with a guy who would push me in the right way. Elin checked in on my at the end of each of the first 3 weeks. He didn't just ask the tired "how's it going" type of questions but rather wanted specifics just to make sure i was getting what i needed and he committed to. Client service is a big deal but i actually feel like he knows he can change lives with proper training and that starts with matching the right people. I told Elin i wanted to work for 10 weeks and see where i was. I have already seen my sessions getting more demanding and Ray tracks my rest times and my need for recovery between sets has dropped dramatically. That is so cool and it motivates me even more. I love the constant variety of exercises. little chance of getting bored here. Need a jumpstart? Call Elin. Want to be a competitive bodybuilder? Call Elin. Best time to start is today.

I love the coaches in the Mosaic location (I haven't been to other locations). I am a total beginner to pilates-like classes and the reformer machine. I took ~3 foundation classes to get started and I felt like the instructors were all so great at helping me improve my form to get the best workout possible. I feel pushed but not shamed into challenging myself. They sell towels and water if you happen to forget to bring either. I feel like a sweat a mild-moderate amount and I don't think a towel is absolutely necessary. Water is probably a good idea - but the class is pretty fast-paced so not a ton of time for water breaks anyway. Now that I'm hooked, I typically do ~2 classes/week. I like the early AM classes (but they fill up fast!). I feel like this gym is clean and compact. I get exactly what I need out of it. There aren't showers so plan accordingly if you have plans afterwards (it's a good sweat!) I like their Public Goods toiletries and have even bought some myself after using them at this gym. Awesome location, awesome coaches, and awesome workout :)!
