The Good: -So many games set to free play! So many different kinds of games! Pinball to DDR to Frogger to literally anything -Heavily sponsored by Galloping Ghost, which probably has a lot to do with how many games were there -Kid friendly -Literally something for anyone: classic arcade, recent first person shooters, retro computing, etc etc -Awesome guest speakers and live podcasting The Bad: -The space is not big enough. I doubt they will hold it here again. The layout is too convoluded for the number of things going on simultaneously. A DJ next to a book talk isn't fun for anyone involved. The Ugly: -So many people who need to shower. Verdict? Will return! Hope they switch up the venue.

You can wander at look at the lights and there's also occasional classic Chinese arts performances to enjoy. We didn't try any of the food but near the performance area there were several vendors offering a variety of food to purchase and dining tables where you can sit and enjoy (very much food court style vibe). One thing I will note: where we were directed to part required traversing very uneven ground. Not a problem for my husband and I but was glad my parents opted to stay home as I think they would have found it difficult. If that's the case for you as well, my suggestion would be to inquire about any sort of accessible parking. Beyond that, a wonderful time. We don't go every single year but when we do go, we so enjoy! Get to it!

Shortly after our first game, it got insanely busy. Tyler was literally running around- from addressing guests concerns, to running the front desk/getting people set up on lanes to running out food. We did end up having problems with our Lane but Tyler and the mechanic did what they could to get the problem fixed. When it still wasn't working, Ashley helped to get our situation fixed, apologized and gave us passes to try again another day. Even through the mechanical issues and food wait weren't fun and kind of frustrating, Tyler and Ashley left us with a great experience! We will definitely be back!

When I stopped in, there were only 2 servers - one at the bar, the other cooking and running food out. The bar service was very slow and no apology or anything for the 10 minute wait for a glass of wine. The food was okay but a little underdone on the tots. However, you could tell he was trying and hustling to get things out. The place felt warm and balmy and it just doesn't seem worth the prices they have to hang out here for more than an hour or two. I'm in no hurry to go back, but maybe would check out one of the other event nights and see if it's a bit less busy.

Same pushy vendors for home needs chasing people down. Some were more respectful than others. Excellent music this year! Really loved Valley Fox. They also had a lot of options for ticketed events like dinners if you wanted a more involved experience. Appreciate this free festival in the village.

There's a good mix of kids' activities, food looked better than standard fest fare, and there was craft beer and wine, although I hate having to buy tickets for drinks, and the beer workers were pretty unorganized, and also ran out of a few kinds of beer fairly early. Then I saw that we could just have bought good beers from Cafés Hollander and Bavaria for cash! (Not from the Festival, itself). The headlining music acts were good, although the two main stages seemed miles apart, especially in 50-degree weather. We probably parked too far away down the Menomonee Parkway, it's a pretty popular festival, and nice "for the area", would come back for a music act I really liked.

Today's visit was extra special…read morebecause Summerfest is underway and a cruise ship (failed to take a photo ) was docked right next to DW. We always take a trip up to the Pilot House and then outside onto the high deck for terrific views of the lake, SF grounds, and everything else in the harbor (including a Milwaukee Fire Dept. fireboat). Staff are always welcoming and so very attentive to the children. We always make a stop at the food kiosk to get a snack (a selection of the usual packaged snack foods along with hot dogs and pizza). My biggest complaint is how slow and long the check-in process is. There's usually only one person at the check-in desk, and many days there need to be two. There's a line for members, but unless there are two staff members at the desk, what difference does it make? We waited with everyone else today, which makes having a membership feel like less of a great thing. But there still needs to be a quicker process. Today while I was at the front desk I watched a woman purchase tickets online, and even that was such a long and involved process I think i would've quit and gone home.

We came here on a Saturday and it was moderately busy yet we were able to see everything in a few hours. There are plenty of hands-on activities throughout for all ages and exhibits highlighting local individuals and companies as well. It's hard to say what my favorite area was because I enjoyed everything, but the aquariums, weather/ storm area and the corporate exploration station stick out in my mind as where I had the most fun personally. We didn't shop around the food or gift shop area but that could be an area we explore more next time. Discovery World is well worth the price of admission and the entire family is guaranteed to have fun while learning something new!

In 2025 the music lineup is fairly inspired of local and regional talent. While the area gets congested with traffic, there does tend to be ample parking by the normal Hart Park lot (by the bathrooms, tennis court, etc.).

**July 2025: Evening Visit**…read more I was staying in Milwaukee, but saw on Instagram that that the city of Tosa was hosting a Independance Day Drone Show. Since my friend and I were staying nearby we thought we'd check it out. The Drone Show started around 9:15pmish but there was live music and community performances in the Hart Park starting 5pm (methinks). I believe we were able to park in the parking lot at 7pmish? There were many families who brought picnic blankets, coolers, chairs etc and just enjoyed being outdoors. There were a couple of food vendors available. The drone shoe was fun. They selected images that were very community centered as well as appreciation for first responders. I'm pretty confident 95% of attendance for the event were businesses and families from Tosa. Trying to exit the parking lot was kind of a nightmare, but overall I think this was a very well organized community event!

OFA is a yearly event that takes place at the lovely Fowler Park in Oconomowoc, WI. It features…read morenumerous artists (local and out of towners) selling their arts and crafts. They feature such mediums as : ceramics, glass, jewelry, painting, photography, woodwork, and sculpture. They offer a shuttle for off-site parking, which is a very convienent way to come and walk around, enjoy the fest, and not have to worry about walking 'all the way back to the car.' They also offer entertainment for the kids, like a youth stage, playgrounds, entertainers, and petting zoos. Oconomowoc Festival of the Arts has been around for 40+ years and offers art from more than 130 artists! It's worth your while to check out - spend a day in beautiful Oconomowoc and support a good cause while you're at it. BTW : This year's OFA will be held on August 17th and 18th, 2013 from 10am - 5pm.
