After telling me the price, she looked me up and down and told me to "pay now". I was confused because every time I go there I never had to pay before getting a the service done. I thought to myself initially, okay no big deal maybe this is new? maybe someone ran out before paying?. Alice then aggressively asked me "how much do you want to tip". I was confused yet again because usually tip depends on how well the service went, in which I had not yet received having walked in 5 minutes ago. I told her I would tip $10, she sucked her teeth & I felt pressured to tip her more. So I said I will tip you $15 actually, assuming it was going to be a good service Based off past visits. I was wrong. She didn't ask me if the pressure was okay, she just started going in. What was supposed to feel relaxing ended up hurting. I have had many massages and trust me I can take pressure. But she was massaging me as if she was aggravated. When I spoke up and said "ouch that hurts, she proceeded with the same exact pressure I just expressed concern about", completely ignoring My discomfort. Heres the part where I realize I was racially profiled. This white man walks in (I heard his voice) and she immediately tells him which curtain to go behind. He did not have to pay before getting the service done. Same with the other white lady next to me. When she finished me up, I asked her why did she only make me pay first She held her breathe and said oh because those customers are returners and new clients pay upfront. I was confused because I've been there before. Maybe not consistently but I have been there atleast 7 times and no one has ever took a payment upfront. The problem isn't paying first, I was going to have to pay for the service regaurdless. The problem was the assumption that I couldn't afford a $70 massage, so to be on the safe side you charged me before providing me with the massage. if you're a POC go here at your own risk

I have had almost every treatment possible for lower back pain and hip pain (and spent many…read moredollars); from chiropractor, to physical therapy, to different massage techniques, to acupuncture... and none of them seemed to provide any long term relief. Allison offered to treat me initially with MFR and I was fairly certain it would be another treatment that wouldn't really make a noticeable difference. However, I have to stand corrected! Allison's treatment had a far greater positive effect on me than any other I have ever had. My body relaxed, my muscles twitched and released in places I never thought possible and I came out feeling rejuvenated and slept pain free like a baby. Not only is Allison a master of the anatomy, she has a way with her touch that produces a deep healing I have never experienced before. She explains in an informative and unintrusive way what she is doing and why, which I really appreciated. She really took her time to feel what my body needed. I have since been back to her for further treatments where she has integrated other techniques that she knows my body needs. No one treatment is the same and she her anatomical intuition is next to none. I can say that she is categorically the most effective and thorough massage therapist that I have ever had a treatment from. I had tried many remedies, but nothing was really curing it. I was recommended to Jonny by a friend, and felt relief right away with this reflexology, and it was totally gone in a few weeks. It has not come back at all! This authentic Chinese reflexology is meaningful massage and the focus areas that need treatment are tender and uncomfortable as they are being treated, but the pain is worth every gain! The discomfort is over as soon as the massage stops on that point and you can tell at each treatment it is less and less uncomfortable, until finally there is no pain in that point at all. It's incredible! Recently, I had experienced sciatic pain up and down the backs of both legs. With the COVID lockdown I had not seen Jonny for several months. The pain was affecting my sleep, making it uncomfortable to roll over and it was also painful to go up/down the stairs or pick up larger objects. It made my exercising more painful too. Through my feet, Jonny saw that the problem likely stemmed from the urinary system: the bladder, ureter and kidneys. Perhaps there was a small low grade infection with inflammation creating this pressure on the sciatic nerves. Using the traditional Chinese pressure methods of reflexology, and some cupping as well, I felt the improvement that first night and slept really well! Woke the next day with great energy and the stairs were much easier to manage! We are still meeting and the pain has receded to a twinge every now and then. I'm 62 years old and prefer not to take medications if I can avoid them, so I really feel that Jonny's work has helped me stay in optimal good health!
