I visited her office this past weekend, seeking help for pain and limited mobility in my hip, ribs, and upper back. We had an intake session to cover the reasons for my visit, and the therapies I had tried. She was a true professional: thorough, clear and kind. After just one hourlong session, I experienced immediate and significant improvement in my hip and back, with my hip in particular feeling and functioning remarkably better than it has in years. I had tried many remedies, but nothing was really curing it. I was recommended to Jonny by a friend, and felt relief right away with this reflexology, and it was totally gone in a few weeks. It has not come back at all! This authentic Chinese reflexology is meaningful massage and the focus areas that need treatment are tender and uncomfortable as they are being treated, but the pain is worth every gain! The discomfort is over as soon as the massage stops on that point and you can tell at each treatment it is less and less uncomfortable, until finally there is no pain in that point at all. It's incredible! Recently, I had experienced sciatic pain up and down the backs of both legs. With the COVID lockdown I had not seen Jonny for several months. The pain was affecting my sleep, making it uncomfortable to roll over and it was also painful to go up/down the stairs or pick up larger objects. It made my exercising more painful too. Through my feet, Jonny saw that the problem likely stemmed from the urinary system: the bladder, ureter and kidneys. Perhaps there was a small low grade infection with inflammation creating this pressure on the sciatic nerves. Using the traditional Chinese pressure methods of reflexology, and some cupping as well, I felt the improvement that first night and slept really well! Woke the next day with great energy and the stairs were much easier to manage! We are still meeting and the pain has receded to a twinge every now and then. I'm 62 years old and prefer not to take medications if I can avoid them, so I really feel that Jonny's work has helped me stay in optimal good health!

I was confused yet again because usually tip depends on how well the service went, in which I had not yet received having walked in 5 minutes ago. I told her I would tip $10, she sucked her teeth & I felt pressured to tip her more. So I said I will tip you $15 actually, assuming it was going to be a good service Based off past visits. I was wrong. She didn't ask me if the pressure was okay, she just started going in. What was supposed to feel relaxing ended up hurting. I have had many massages and trust me I can take pressure. But she was massaging me as if she was aggravated. When I spoke up and said "ouch that hurts, she proceeded with the same exact pressure I just expressed concern about", completely ignoring My discomfort. Heres the part where I realize I was racially profiled. This white man walks in (I heard his voice) and she immediately tells him which curtain to go behind. He did not have to pay before getting the service done. Same with the other white lady next to me. When she finished me up, I asked her why did she only make me pay first She held her breathe and said oh because those customers are returners and new clients pay upfront. I was confused because I've been there before. Maybe not consistently but I have been there atleast 7 times and no one has ever took a payment upfront. The problem isn't paying first, I was going to have to pay for the service regaurdless. I started seeing Irina at a time when I was finally ready to work through some of the emotional baggage I'd been carrying from a very difficult experience in my life a few years prior. Straight away I sensed that Irina's work would be deeply supportive of this process. In our first session, she shared that my mantra should be "release, relax, let go." Simple in principle; not always easy in practice! But I can say that after five reflexology sessions I am SO much lighter and more confident than I was when I started. You could actually see the internal changes taking place week on week-- they showed up dramatically in my face and the way i carried myself. I feel so incredibly grateful to Irina for this.
